Would highly recommend Wilderness Home for their warmth, great service and food. Perfect for going solo/with family/friends.

We stayed for almost a week and went on multiple hikes with them, all of them quite memorable. They have everything available with them, you don't have to look for other service providers.

We went for 3N 4D trip and I am so glad that we booked this property. First of all, it doesn't include any trek to the property which itself is a bliss after day long treks. Second, this is a very beautiful and peaceful property with amazing hosts. Lalit is a very polite and accomodating person. Rishi ji helped us with our trek and made us feel safe throughout. Lata didi cooks very delicious food. All staff members were very helpful. Property is at a walking distance to the market. Would love to visit again.

Penning this specially for Mr Lalit, Mr Rishi & Mr Roshan who made our trip to Jibhi so memorable. We had apprehensions about travel in general since it was our family's first trip after the pandemic, however, once we got to the property all our doubts were erased. The property is cozy, clean and equipped with all facilities like heaters which we really ended up requiring and the homecooked meals & pickles made by Latta didi & team are definitely a treat.

Special thanks to Roshan ji for being such a great guide through all the hikes we went on, it wouldn't have been possible to complete these hikes easily without his guidance.

Property manager Arohi is not the person of her words and does not understand hospitality at all.
1. We checked in and had a clear discussion that they have offered us a 3bkh flat and all the other two bedrooms will be locked and no guest will be allowed however once the payment was done by the evening she was accepting bookings for other 2 bedrooms luckily guest who arrived denied to share like us.
2. Several calls were made for basic amenities to her like towels.
3. We requested to keep our food as they have buffet which has a stupid timmings of 8pm to 9pm dinner and breakfast 8am to 9am. We were not comfortable eating at that time so we humbly requested to keep our food like for two PPL 4 chapati Bowl of rice and small bowls of gravy n vegs that's it. DENIED! Morning No breakfast served!
4. When we decided to extend on Sunday she requested us that one lady will share our BHK because she is regular and knows the owner well we had a plan of roaming whole day on that day so we agreed later we found that she gave the third room as well to one male traveller without out knowledge.
5. Lots of flies and bugs were in the room they really need to fix their windows well so that unwanted guests can't be welcomed. I understand this is a monsoon and it's natural but I'm also from Himachal and I donot find such things in my home. 6. Flush stoped working we have to ask 3-4 times to get someone to fix it 7We have to ask multiple times to run motor for water in washroom.
8.we checked in around 3pm and we were traveling from Delhi so we were very tired we asked if there's something to eat. She denied first later when we asked if they serve snacks which she could have helped us knowing that they serve snacks and we can try some instead she recommended us going to market and get something to eat.
9. No hospitality at all owner was there as Arohi told us later. He never tried to meet and interact. Atleast for business sake people ask how's ur stay going on where r u from etc etc questions. No interaction at all
12. Even there was a parking space we were asked to park on the road later when I said the space is empty why to park on road she agreed.
13. We ate three aloo parantha and asked for the fourth one and the fourth one which came was made with the stuffing of left over paneer sabji in dinner. And they called it as paneer parantha.
14. Arohi is rude when we questioned that why breakfast was not kept for us second Lata was polite and ready to cook for us but it's not about the food it's about the service. If ur rules doesn't allow then be clear and say that we cannot keep the food simple.

I understand the place is remote and lack of amenities however not that remote that one could not provide basics.

Response to the Owner: You would be correct saying dinner time starts at 8pm however can you tell me any place which servers only for an hour? ! Even college and office mess servers for 2n half hours that is 8pm to 10: 30pm! Now coming to your question why we extended hear me out and understand instead of your sarcasm. Ist when you are in place like such the most important thing matters is the view and environment, dispite your 0 services we stayed because it's really difficult to find any other place on weekend specially on Sunday! Hope you fix your staff make them aware of hospitality and please be open for any opportunities to improve. I wish you a great success in you business!

Well let me start by saying that it's my real first homestay experience and very apprehensive to book a homestay especially travelling with a small kid. But all my concerns were put to rest. A true home away from home with great hospitality, food and friendly staff, very prompt service. Ideally located as all nearby attractions are close by. Don't look for any other place while in Jibhi. Owner Lalit ji is great host with lot of experience in tourism and hospitality and understands your requirements properly before suggesting any excursions to you. Rooms and bathrooms are also nice and clean with all required amenities you require.

It's a great place for families. Much more than a home stay. The owner and the staff are friendly and caring. Pet friendly.

If you want to switch off from all the hustle bustle for a bit, be in ur peace and quiet, then the jibhi wilderness home is the place to be at. Get ur backpack and go! The place is managed by happy bunch of people who are passionate about what they do.the view from all the rooms is impeccable. The property has maintained the natural flora and fauna of the hills.everything there is wild and beautiful! They offer different kind of treks too! I would say it is a place for those who want to spend some time with " themselves". This place is highly recommended! We stayed at Wilderness Home for 5 days and had a wonderful experience!

As soon as we stepped inside, the positive vibes of this place relived us from all tiredness of travel. The room was very well maintained, offered the best views & it had all the amenities like Room Heaters, Electric Kettle etc. It’s a beautiful property with views to die for…. Very well maintained…had a lovely pool…a very cozy common sitting area for dining and chit chatting …

Also, this is a pet friendly stay.

Home cooked food was hygienic & yummy. I had one of the best "Siddu" at Wilderness Home.

Mr. Lalit is an excellent host and one of the most humble and genuine person I came across.

A BIG shout out to Mr. Rishi for taking us on amazing walks and for sharing his experiences about travelling in and around Himachal. He informed us about different species of Himalayan flora during jungle walk. Guided us on…. Where we can roam around with our 4 yrs old daughter…. Where to eat and what to explore! And yes…. Informed us about origin and spread of Himachal Apple….

The one place all of us wants to return to in India
We stayed there 8 days a family of 5 with 3 girls age 3 to 10. We wnjoyed the room itself, the location and its beautiful surroundings, the pool and the people that made it feel like home.

What a wonderful place. Lsltji and Leenaji are very caring and lovely people. They took care of us so well. Highly recommended stay. Food is local and very delucious.

I have been going and staying in Jibhi resorts for almost 8 year now. It has become my first home in mountains.
Jibhi is a quaint place with great vibe and has many beautiful known and hidden spots to trek for every one. The food and stay at the resort is just perfect and most importantly it feels like home.

This is a very nice place, rooms are very spacious, food served was very tasty with lot of variety, we also relished trout which was delicious, property is very well maintained

Rishi was an excellent host. We were greeted and attended at the property by his employee Aarohi and team with a smiling face. The room had an excellent view of the valley from all sides, probably one of the best in that area. The food was excellent and they serve variety and even take care of international standards, based on guest preference. They will surprise you at every step of your stay there and will certainly add a positive experience to your overall stay.whether you stay for a night or for months. I loved to interact with the owner, Mr Lalit ji who really understands the concept of a sustainable tourism and the way he has built up this property is so amazing. Jibhi is no longer the sleepy, forgotten Himalayan village it once was. So, visitors have a lot of options to choose from. But in my book, Wilderness Home is still THE best place to stay at. Just check in, and literally everything else will be taken care of. Lalit, your host, embodies the famed Himachali hospitality, and will do whatever it takes to make your trip memorable. It also helps that being a local, he is intimately familiar with the region, and you'll be spoilt for choice for things to do, whatever your area of interest. Highly recommended!

What a great stay at the wilderness home, I planned a workation there for 2 weeks but ended up staying for a month. Lalit and his staff are welcoming and very friendly. The property itself is beautiful, they also offer fabulous excursions, forest walks, hikes & treks to nearby attractions. Overall an awesome and memorable experience!

We were a group of four (2 couples) who stayed in Jibhi Wilderness Home for 3 weeks during December 2021.

Property & Rooms:

Wilderness home is a private property that spread across few acres. The property is very well maintained & has the best views that you can get in Jibhi or in entire Tirthan Valley.

The rooms were very well maintained, offered the best views & it had all the amenities like Room Heaters, Electric Blankets, Best Wooden Blankets, Electric Kettle which kept us cozy during the winter nights. The room also had the necessary toiletries.

Also, this is a pet friendly stay

Staff:

Mr. Lalit is an amazing host & a great human being. I loved the little chit chats that we had with Lalit during our stay. Lalit is an experienced Mountaineer & a certified Yoga practitioner and we got to hear amazing stories from his Mountaineering experiences. One of the best things is that, Lalit believes in the ideology of Sustainable Travel and is striving to create a sustainable travel experience in and around Jibhi.

The entire staff at Jibhi wilderness were amazing. They were courteous and always greeted the guests with a big smile on their face. Special shout out to Mr. Rishi for taking us on amazing morning walks and for sharing his experiences about travelling in and around Himachal and Spiti Valley.

Food:

As mentioned, Jibhi Wilderness is an experiential stay, that'd would mean you'd get to experience lot of tasty local cuisine.
They offered breakfast & dinner and the food was delicious. I had one of the best "Siddu" at entire Himachal in Jibhi Wilderness.

Experiences:

Jibhi Wilderness also offer lot of experiences for their guests. It can be as simple as taking guests on a morning walk or a refreshing jungle trail walk or visiting Jalori Pass or small day hikes in and around Jibhi or adventurous experiences like Rappelling, Paragliding and so on.

Apart from the above experiences offered, the guests could also plan their entire travel in and around Himachal through Jibhi Wilderness and we did just that.

We did Spiti Winter Expedition with Mr. Lalit and it was one of the best experiences to be cherished through the entire life. Lalit ensured we (group of 6) stayed in best & cozy homestays in the Spiti region. The temperatures at night during the expedition dropped to -25 to -30 degrees but, we still managed to stay comfortable and cozy all thanks to Mr. Lalit.

Thanks to Lalit, we learnt a lot about the Spiti culture & it's people, their way of living by experiencing it first hand. If it had been any other travel agency, I am pretty sure all we would have done during the expedition was to click some instagrammable photos:). We've made so many memories to cherish from the expedition & we can't thank Lalit enough for playing huge role in this.

Apart from this, the logistics offered by Jibhi Wilderness & Lalit for the entire

Conclusion (TLDR) :
If you're planning to visit Tirthan valley or Himachal Pradesh, do plan to visit Jibhi (which is a wonderful place to explore). So if you do, plan to visit Jibhi, I highly recommend you stay at Jibhi Wilderness and experience the Himachal Pradesh in best way possible.

I'd definitely visit Jibhi Wilderness again with my family and may be plan another Spiti Expedition (in Summer) with Mr. Lalit.

Well-maintained property and location. All praise for the Owner, Lalit Ji and his staff for being an excellent host. They are very supportive and are always inclined towards putting in all their efforts to accomodate to requests.
Lalit Ji is also an excellent guide and his services can be availed if someone intends to explore the area.

Nice place, spacious, clean and a good kitchen. The owner is very friendly and soft spoken. We had a good time.

The experience here was quite amazing. We were two girls who were travelling to jibhi for the first time and the decision to stay at wilderness home was certainly the best. The staff is really warm and welcoming. The property is wonderfully maintained by the owner and is surrounded by lush green gardens. It overlooks a beautiful valley and most of the rooms are facing that valley- the views here are breathtaking
It's definitely one of the best properties in jibhi.
Moreover the food is just like home. The people are kind enough to even customise the same as per your requirements. Everything is easily accessible here, right from the market to popular hope cafe, even jibhi waterfall is just a short walk away.

Visited 2 years ago, when it was known as Leena's Place. Rustic feels with 5 star hospitality, could not have wished for a better experience. Lalit and Leena are great hosts, some of the tastiest dishes are cooked in their kitchen ranging from chicken to pancakes. The kids of the house, Aadi and Amaira are so cute and fun to interact with.

Jibhi is a beautiful sub village in Banjar sub division of Kullu Himachal Pradesh. It is also the route village for jalori pass which is almost 12 km towards the east of jibhi. When we visited jibhi it was a summer camp and was quite hot but not much than the in plane part of HP. People of jibhi kullu are so generous and so we'll behaved it gives you lot of energy to come and talk with them. As discussed jibhi is now turned into a camping spots and it is hub of marvelous home stays now due to more tourist they valley is also turned into a commercial corner. I had lot of chats with old mens here they say that they can see the distruction of natural beauty from their own eyes.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Incredibly cozy. Great hosts. Good food. Comfortable, well appointed rooms.

What a wonderful 3 days we spent at Leena's Place! Both Leena and Lalit are very welcoming and hospitable. Their children are adorable and just add to the homely charm of the place. Never felt like we were staying in a Guest House. It's a homestay in its true sense. Would love to go back soon!
