My Home in Chhatru Valley, Lahaul
This beautiful farmhouse owned by my friend n host became my home too for three weeks. Its remoteness and isolation from any town further added to its charms. Surrounded by tons n tons of snow, the settings were tailor made for my photography requirements. Just when I thought that I had clinched the subject a new surprise would unfold.
What more could a photographer ask for. Chhatru adopted me like one of its own and I fell for its charms hook line and sinker.
Chhatru receives more snowfall than any other part of Lahaul. The best time to visit it is during end of April till mid October. I will be leading a photography tour to Chhatru next year. Those of you who are keen to join me may get in touch with @XHIMALAYA

XHIMALAYA is all about offgrid living with Raw Nature.

Had so much fun. Host SHRAY was amazing. At such offbeat location hosted provided all the basic amenities. This is the must place to visit while you're travelling to Spiti from Manali, else you can stay while coming from Spiti. They took very good care of us. Cozy stay with good food and service.
Highly recommended.
Inhouse bonfire night

The cottage is situated in a very calm and naturally rich area, away from the crowds. A premium experience of luxury and solace! It is all worth it, adventure sports are there to blow your mind.take a break and gooo!

The tranquility I felt in this place is unparalleled to any other place I have been to. Visit with a group of friends! The memories you will create, will be worth more than every penny you have spent.

We with my family stayed here for 5 days and explored the area with team xhimalaya had an awesome adventure time here.
