Zostel

Zostel (Old Manali) has a great vibe. Good value for money. I stayed there with 3 other friends and had a great time. It's a little interior from the main road. It's a little confusing the first time but the view from Zostel is worth it. A pretty good cafe too with really yummy food.

Great vibe. Very clean. Volunteer Udai deserves a special mention as he made my stay comfortable.

Had a great stay at Zostel Old Manali. Although it’s not super accessible from the main road, it has great service, ambiance and company.
Udai does his absolute best to ensure everyone has a great and positive experience at the Zostel.

Ambience of zostel is very pretty. It is bit difficult to find the location but the host are very helpful to guide. Food was just awesome. You can love both veg and non veg food. Being a vegetarian I loved momos and sizzler. My non veg friends also tried mutton and non veg momos and even they enjoyed. Rooms are descent. Great place to chill and enjoy your vacation.

The place is good with an excellent view. If you're a solo traveller, might not match your vibe but if you're in a group you will enjoy the most of it.
Location is like a treasure hunt, food is nice.
Overall, kind of matches the expectations.

The Place is vibrant and the staff is helpful. The garden cafe is a bit on the expensive side but the food is hygienic and tastes good.

Zostel chains are awsome. But this one came a little short for my expectations. Ive been in panchgani zostel before and they are fab! But this one was not upto the mark in terms of infrastructure and cleanliness. There were spider webs on the wall which instantly puts off the mode. But the staff here is very friendly so that is a plus point. Plus there cafe is also very good.

Zostel Manali is peaceful and serene. It is a little inaccessible as you'll have to take quite a few narrow lanes to reach there so I'd suggest that you travel light. However the gorgeous view of snow-capped mountains and the beautiful sunrise makes this place worth the climb. The staff is friendly and the overall vibe of this place is lovely.

Just know that you'll come here as a solo, couple or groups but enjoy here as a one huge group of friends! From the managers to the cook to other zostellers, you'll vibe in Manali like never before!

It is truly a backpackers place to stay. It has wonderful and tasty food. They even have an amazing rule as well that who ever stays there can't order food in their own rooms. This allows for more interaction among the people and they usually get very friendly amd close before they have to leave the place. You make a lot of memories plus experiences as well. You can visit different place with different kinds of people from all over the world and that expands your horizon. I had the best week there although i went only for a day but i extended my stay just because of the breathtaking view and the lovely staff, especially the chef and shivam plus all the others. You'll feel like home.

The place is located in old Manali village. They offers dorm rooms for males and females separate and also offer mixed dorm and private rooms. The place also has h mini restaurant and an outdoor dining area. Each room has its own sitting area outside the room where you can get breathtaking views of himalyan peaks. The dorm beds were cozy and they provide enough blankets. There is a common bathroom for each room which is pretty good furnished and clean. Overall best place to stay if you are a backpacker or travelling with friends.

One of the best place to stay for bagpackers. Place is very closed to mountains so you get awesome view. Tidy and neat place where one can stay at lowest price. Food they are serving in their cafe is mind blowing and rate is not also high.highly recommanded place.

The ambience and scenery here are simply mind blowing. The host is very friendly and helpful. There is an in-house cafe also and the food here is also good. The place is located in old Manali, away from the tourist crowd in Manali. The rooms are good and the facilities are also worth the money

Best Backpackers Hostel. Zostel manali is in old manali and very inside to small village But silent and peaceful place without any disturbance.staffs were good and rooms were nice. Had some crazy moments in Zostel New year Celebration. Parking is the problem where we need to park outside from the stay. Others are good

Well, My experience in Zostel manali can never be forgotten. I am a solo traveler and trust me this place is a paradise for backpackers. Zostel Manali just like other Zostels through out the country has an unbelievable charm. The people you meet there, the experiences you share, the laugh you do, the conversations you have there, the hikes you go on, the unbelievably sweet and super helpful staff you meet there can just NOT be compared to any other place. I have been to and stayed in lot of places but the hospitality Zostel Manali offered was truly overwhelming.
If you are kind of a person who truly loves traveling and socialising, dump the hotels and other places and book your stay with Zostel which is btw extremely affordable.
The food in Zostel manali was unbelievable, how beautifully the kitchen team there prepare and 'present' your food into that plate is just overwhelming to see as much as its to eat. The volunteers who work there in Zostel manali were so inspiring and will never let you feel unoccupied by the environment. I strongly feel the volunteers are the USPs of zostel. The people I met there were so inspiring and the way the volunteers (Bhavuk bhai and Shivam bhai) managed the activities for us during the whole day, the short treks around the areas, taking us to famous cafes, or the games we played there just shows how beautifully and passionaty they can make your time wonderful. Hats off to guys.
I went there in winters and it looks like Alice in the wonderland in winters as beautiful as it looks in the colors of spring (check the photos out). The property is beautiful and a gem in the marvelous and heritage location of the old manali which is super affordable and an experience of in itself.

Don't hv 8 room dorm as mentioned and wer asked to move in separate dorm even after Booking 6 beds in one dorm. Something u don't expect

Visited zostel in jan 2019 with four friends.thr place is happening you will meet people from different countries state cities who are traveling alone or in group.it is safe to stay here they have strict rules aswell staff is polite and friendly food service is also very good.all in all very good experience loved the concept of staying in dorm

Nice and cheap hostel. The location was perfect away from crowd and at the same time not too far from mall road, just 2 kms away. The food was really good and i enjoyed my stay although it was an off season.

Best place to stay if u are in manali. Comfortable rooms and washrooms awesome view, friendly staff. Favorite place - common room and terrace. Made many new friends and memories here thank you zostel
