It is a vibe, located at a very beautiful location, the trekking activity arranged by sunil was really fun and enjoyed a lot during nights with bonfire arrangement and an amazing atmosphere.

Had an amazing experience in the mountains. The people there made the whole experience even better. Rohan is a very kind host who organised everything for us. The bonfire and the short treks around the location was really beautiful.

A beautiful stay with wonderful services. A perfect place if you are looking for peace and quite.

Best hostel I have stayed so far, great ambiance, loved the vibe. The Staff was very polite and helpful, Will never forget this experience. Best View and such a cozy atmosphere inside the hostel. Really stood up to the expectations.

Initially I was so excited to stay in this Zostel but as soon as I checked in, I was welcomed with expensive food menu and first thing I ordered was Mix paratha which was super oily and not great at taste.

Then I got the 4 bed dorm in which the washroom sliding door was jammed and not working properly, I had to put so much of efforts just to open and close the washroom door. Totally inconvenient. On the 1st day, there were so many flies, mosquitos and later when I complained they sprayed Hit and which filled the room with bad odour. Also the washroom sink was leaking and there was bad smell in the toilet.

The manager and staff were kind but the service was not good. Even the single bunk bed dorm cost was more than 700 rs per person which makes it tough for a backpacker.

The best part of this Zostel Banikhet was its location, view and swimming pool. I spent more than 4700 rs.for dorm room and food in just 3 nights. It's the most expensive hostel stay I ever had that too staying in dorm room. Zostel Dalhousie which is 45 mins away from this Banikhet hostel is better alternative. I left with dissatisfaction and disappointment due to the overall experience.

I do not recommend staying here for more than 1 night. Even when you are staying here for 1 night, come with group and never stay here as solo traveller.

Location is no doubt excellent, staff members are friendly, rooms are well cleaned and spacious.
However, the food here is not up to the mark, they have timetables for different kinds of food, and the taste is not very good.
Drawback point - you have nothing nearby to hop

Zostel Banikhet is one of the best zostels I have ever stayed in. The vibe, atmosphere, staff, food everything is amazing. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. Last but not the least, the folks at zostel Banikhet were really nice and accommodating to our needs! Keep up the great work folks!

This was one of the most unique experiences. It was literally a home away from home for me. Our host Rohan is the best host anyone can ask for he'll go beyond expectations to meet basic requirements. The food here was homely and met amazing people from all over India. Loved every bit of this stay with insane views and goof company.

Best zostel in whole chamba, Photos just dont justify the beauty and picturesque view you get. Close your eyes and book this one, cant get wrong with this one.

The management was humble and they made sure our stay was comfortable.

My first ever solo trip. It was a great hostel experience. The property is located at an awesome place. The pool is an added advantage overlooking the mountains. One can spend hours looking at the view. They could renovate the property a little more. It needs to be a little more clean. Rest everyone over there tries hard to make your stay comfortable.

Amazing Zostel Vibes. Rohan is a very good host. Dorms were neat and clean. Food at the restaurant is delicious. Sunil bhai is welcoming and helpful.

I went to Zostel Banikhet with my friends. Zostel location is at one of the finest location of Dalhousie. View around the Zostel is very good. Staff and Manager at Zostel were highly hospitable. Trip to Dalhousie was awesome. It was possible only with the help of Mr. Rohan (Manager). He made us to gauge the star in night (shooting star and Milky way galaxy) and track the local hill in the morning.

It was such a beautiful experience to explore zostel. Property is really beautiful. Rooms are clean and have mesmerising view. Staff was very humble and polite. We really enjoyed in house activities like swimming, carom etc. Food was delicious. Overall, highly recommendable.

Had an amazing experience. The hosts- Rohan and Abhinay were great- humble and sweet. Had a lot of fun with all of them. The kitchen staff made delicious food for us especially the Puri, Aloo and halwa, also the local dish - Madra. Overall, the property is a beautiful location- you can spot amazing sunsets from here. Zostel is a very different experience than a staying at a conventional hotel. You get to meet new people and make memories wether going in a group or individually.

What I loved about my first zostel experience was that the host was very warm and welcoming. He offered to take us for group treks and hosted games at night that brought together the entire hostel. Cheers to Rohan for providing a great experience.

As for the property maintenance, the linens could be a tad cleaner but nothing off putting as such.

I wish I had more days to stay here. The guys who lease this at this time do not serve non veg which is a drawback but still the food is good. A must visit place.

Stayed there with a friend for 2 days and it was a delight. We stayed in a 4 bed dorm which was clean and comfy. The manager is very welcoming and friendly and make you feel like home. He also made an effort to keep us informed about the nearby treks and took us around a lot of cool places. Love the kind of culture the Zostel has inside the premises- you can play games, listen to music, swim in the infinity pool, socialise and whatnot. It is a whole vibe being there, being around really kind people who served us there. Also- brownie points for the food. Had Paranthas on a streak! Great stay!

Rohan, you have been a super host. The sunset view you took us to was a highlight. Thankyou for the well maintained pool and being just a call away. The property is very well maintained, however the rooms can do better. Overall i would definitely like to go again:)

It's such a lovely place to be. Peace, vibe and everything you want is there. Rohan is such a good host. This is the perfect break from the daily life. The village walks, trails and trek. Playing uno by the pool side.every corner of this place gives you and unforgettable memory.

Amazing place. The food, the host, the view, the pool - everything is amazing. Its away from all the crowd & hassle at a quiet place. One of the great places for workation. You can go for small hikes around.
