Zost Mcleodganj! Having first experience solo trip, surprised seeing Zostel like this. Wonderful experience. Service, location, food just awesome.

This is the best hotel I have visited, I stayed here with my friends. We had a great view of mountains. For couples this is the best place to visit. The rooms and food was very good.

This amazing place whith amazing view and a great team, running the place. The view from cafe so beautiful and food was delicious. Rooms were so hygienic, and staff was so polite.

All the guys working here are amazing. They all vibe really well, super helping and very friendly. The view from the cafe is so beautiful, used to sit there for hours with my laptop and enjoy the Mountain View. I would love to be back here. It’s not just great for groups but for solo travellers as well.

I booked a double room with balcony. Unfortunately didn't get the room which I saw on photos. Atmosphere of the room is very good. I didn't get much of the mountain views from your balcony. They have some rooms from where the mountain views are mesmerizing.

The location is a bit misleading. The photos of a beautiful landscape posted here are great (and somewhat accurate), but the what they don’t show is the disgusting approach to the place. Filthy is the only word that comes to mind.
Rooms were okay but had a few silver fish insects.
Service, however, was good. The staff was helpful.

100 stairs to reach Zostel and then, 4 floor to reach cafeteria.

Great place for solo traveller's or small groups. The place is clean, offers good food options inhouse. All other good Cafe/Restaurants are at walkable distance. The Staff is very polite and supportive. The walk up/down to the place from the main road will keep food appetite in check!

One of the best experience ever. The hospitality, clean lines and staff is the best I have experienced in all the zostels.
And special thanks to Sunny. My car got stuck in between the road around 1.00 AM, he came to help me in this late hour. Thank you so much for the help Sunny.

Beautiful and clean dorms. Amazing view from the cafe. Only flaw is that it’s hard to reach. Too many stairs and no help with luggage. Reach everything was nice.

They not only provides rooms to stay but good ambiance and fun activities. Way better then hotels.

Had a very pleasant stay at the Zostel. Fabulous staff who will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. The cafe food is extremely delicious. Taking back warm memories of the place for life. Specially mention to Anku, Rajjat and Rakesh for being such food hosts.

Mcleodganj is a very beautiful city and Zostel will help you explore it in so many great ways coz there are random volunteers who organize outings, small treks. What else do you want as a solo traveler.

Rooms are decent. We stayed in 4 sharing dorm andwe never get to see sunlight in that room. It was very depressing.
Other than that, the service in cafeteria is good. They have coolers and heaters in their RO machine which is the best part.
If you want sunlight in your room, this is not the place you should look for. For sunlight you will need to take stairs to top floor and if you are lucky enough to get a free seat then only you can have a sun bath.

It was first ever visit to any Zostel, and it was just mind blowing whether its food, view, hospitality, ambience.

The place is pretty chill and have a huge cafe where you can chill and have a good co working space when compared to other properties.

A best place for friends to bond over. Safe for only girls travel. Their cafe and community place is equiped with all things like play, music, bonfire n winter and connection you make. The indian food here is very good. Very good for budget travel.

I recently stayed in the private room. The location of the property is great considering you are mid-way between Dharamshala and Dharamkot. The rooms are well maintained with amenities (wifi, sanitary ware, bedding, etc). The staff is welcoming and eagre to help. This zostel has the most amazing cafe both in terms of ambience and food. Overall it was a great experience.

The hotel is as amazing as the view. Perfect place for staycation or for anniversaries, birthday parties etc. Absolutely loved the vibe.

Zostel McLeodGanj is the best place to stay if you are travelling solo. It has an amazing, vibrant atmosphere. Located admist the mountains with enthralling views. Their cafe serves yummy food and is a wonderful place to socialize with games, bonfires, movies, music. The staff are extremely friendly. The room and the premises were very clean. I loved this Zostel for its vibe. I stayed there for 7 days and did not want to leave at all.

Ask for a Porter before you reach Zostel coz no way one can carry the bags through the steep stairs. Pillows and Bedsheets were not changed after being used by previous user but the reception staff was super helpful and changed the linen within no time. Rooms are not as good as they seem on internet pictures. Overall an average Zostel property, not worth the Hyped reviews.

One of the most memorable trip and stay at zostel. The service they provide won't let you feel homesick or boring at allEspecially to mention the host Mr. Rajat who has been an amazing companion throughout my stay ️ He is truly an amazing host and an honest and innocent being. Environment is very friendly and safe. Friendly Staff. Highly recommended. The cafe environment, food is too delicious.
