Service was very nice & Room was clean, location was awesome this is the best hotel at this area I had never seen this type of supiror service.

Untill you taste maggi here your Pahalgam tour is incomplete!

Worst staff service. Lipstick stains on cups, serving food in uncleaned utensils. TV and Geyser doesn’t work. Frequent power cuts. Weak Wifi connection so one has to use mobile data.

Major issues

1. Geyser not working for our 2 days stay
2. Power cut for whole 2nd night even electric blankets were not working and no room heater
3. Have to ask for hot water which is given in non- insulated bottles which couldn't survive a hour
4. There were blood spots on the bedsheets and we demand for a change and they provide us another one also but same problem they were also dirty

Worst hotel. Never ever go to this hotel. Temperature outside is 0 and the bed heater not working. No heaters in the room

Very Bad experience, not clean even basic amenities like clean bedsheet, toilet are not cleaned. Rooms are dirty and not even clean properly. Service is also not upto the mark.

I stayed in the property for 2 nights. The room I stayed in was spacious. It had electric mattress warmers. There was a working geyser in the washroom.

The property is located 1.2 km before the Pahalgam market when coming from Anantnag/Srinagar. Local conveyance os absent. So one has to walk to the market if personal conveyance is not available. On the positive side, the property is far away from the noise and pollution of the main market.

The property is managed by a group of young boys. Kitchen starts at 8: 30 AM and you have to pre-order meals a few hours in advance. I found a hair strand in my omelette. But since I was mentally prepared for these things, it didn't bother me much.

Overall, it is a descent place to stay of you a budget traveller and have a conveyance of your own.

Genuine staff with warm hospitality

It's Aru Valley, Overa-Aru Biosphere Reserve. It's the base camp for Kolhoi Glacier, Tarsar-Marsar Lake & Herbaghwan Lake.

I have recently stayed in this hotel. Hotel is clean and decent. Staff and food is awsome. They make you feel at home. I enjoyed stay at this hotel very much.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay here this resort is a good property with friendly staff in particular Mr Zahid in the restaurant was very friendly to us. Other staff members were equally courteous and ever smiling.

Thanks for your response on my feedback, attached pictures speak for themselves and I took it while staying for 2 hrs at your hotel. So you cannot claim I didn't entered your hotel.
And yes, you have not refunded single rupees, your hotel was mismanaged, dirty, flies everywhere in the room, rest details take from pictures.
Obviously I will ask for refund, as i have paid 10k for booking 2 nights and you didn't refunded single rupee.
Pictures which you have published everywhere is years old and doesn't even match current status of your property.
And I like your term "propoganda" and the frustration in response to my feedback. I lost 10k and you as hotel management is frustrated, very nice.

Hotel rooms needs upgrade. But staff is very helpful and cooperative. Food is really nice.

Rooms: Pretty old and small rooms. Bathrooms needs maintenance. Frequent power cuts. They put backup.

Staff: Very cooperative.

Food: Very tasty.

Good stay at pahalgam, Service is good as well. A very good view of mountains is available from hotel. The backyard has hanging swings and chairs and it is very relaxing to sit and enjoy in evening.

As someone stated, this is not a resort, it's a small Hut few rooms on ground floor and few rooms on first floor very dirty place, we visited with our friends, but ladies didn't even came out of car after seeing the room condition and the dirtiness around.

No reception kind of stuff, just one small security kind of person is sitting outside rest you manage your own.

It's located atleast 2 kms before Pahalgam town, rooms are ok with electric blankets, washrooms can be much better.
Has a very small indoor common area used for serving lunch and dinner.
Parking can accommodate 3 to four full sized vehicles only.
Room service is available but can be slow.

Ok. Little bit far from main market. But for nature lovers, it is the best place. Service was ok. But need more improvement.

Location is good, away from crowded area.
Staff is good, prompt service and flexible. We needed something at midnight due to medical problem and they happily served, even offered us to take to doctors if required.
Rooms are too small and there is no cupboard or anything to keep your clothes or anything.
Bed is heated with electric pads.
Food quality is good but menu is limited.

Smooth check-in and check-out thanks to the efficient reception desk, they also helped us plan our itinerary for our 2 night stay. Zahid bhai at the reception was so warm and friendly! Rooms are a little tiny but well maintained. Good views from the room. Will surely stay here on my next visit!

Himalaya discover is an excellent property with Decent Standard of service and Hospitality. Rooms are in very good condition and clean as well. Beautiful property located in a quiet good location with Beautiful Mountains all around. Beautiful place to Visit with Family and friends. So overall a fantastic holiday location as well as Hotel. The best Among all is their Hospitality and Food.

A must visit place in pehalgam

Property and location is very nice. It is little away from roadside and beside river. The location feels like it is on top of a hill surrounded by mountains and forest. The stay is affordable along with good lunch and dinner. The owner and his son do all the work. No work is small is probably their motto. Very beautiful. % recommended.

The Check-In was so late that we decided to go on trekking instead. When we came back in the evening, we were provided a different room than shown earlier which was much smaller and no running water. When I confronted Shafi, he said we can leave which was not possible 0700pm in the evening. The hotel is in a remote location with no transport nearby. I had to pay exorbitant price for a much smaller room. At 1000pm, all running water was shutoff in the entire hotel. All heaters were also shutoff. In the morning we had to run after the staff to provide heating and some hot water. We were also told to use bathroom in other rooms where guest has left early and they were dirty. The food was expensive and very bad. I got loose motion the very next day. The staff also started misbehaving and asking us to checkout early. At checkout they charged us with lot of hidden charges. We had to argue a lot to get some respite from their unbelievable charges. Extra items were added to ordered food. We were charged for trekking even though we went by ourselves. The pony ride cost was told to us at 5 times the price. At one point the staff asked us money for providing hot water. Overall very bad experience.

Big room Good and safer location. You can reach all locations by sharing or walking for 50/- to 100/-rs. Breakfast is delicious. It's with centralised water heater. Small room heater provided which is sufficient for Pahalgam cold weather also provide electronic blanket. If you go out from hotel in evening, please inform the reception so the outside (entry) doors will not be closed. The veiw from hotel room window it's beautiful, When I was staying in the hotel, there was some problem due to power cut problem for tow day's.

Best place to stay in the heart of pahalgam. Away from commercial madness and crowded area right in the midst of nature. You can hear the sound of Lidder river and smell the pine trees day and night. A truly original valley of shepherds pahalgam experience.
You can enjoyed your stay at Hotel Himalaya Resorts at Pahalgam. All the rooms are very good and nicely maintained with proper windows and natural light. The resort is remotely located in lap of nature.on-site staff is very keen and hospitable. All the basic facilities were available.its a great place to refresh your senses and relax.suitable for honeymoon couples, couples as well as families.once you will visit the spot and resort difnatlly you had an amazing exprience here on affordable rates.

Very good place to visit. This resort is very near to lidder river. Window will take you to Himalayas. And overall Mr Shafi is a wonderful person who will address all your needs. You can visit betaab valley, Aru valley and many more places

Loved the spacious rooms with a beautiful view from our window. Unlike many hotels in Pahalgam charging exorbitant prices, this was high on value on money. The hotel management was so warm and friendly. Javed bhai was always full of suggestions on which places were a must visit. They also have a little seating area in the garden where we chatted away with the friendly locals. The best surprise in our stay was Zayed's and Raju bhaiya's cooking! Such heartwarming food and they prepared everything we asked for with a smile.
Would definitely recommend everyone travelling to Pahalgam to give this place a try. The location is perfect if you are looking for warm hospitality and to avoid the crowded market area.

I’m amna farhath And my stay in Himalaya discover Pahalgam was one of the best. I loved the service, it was clean and hygienic.the ambiance is amazing! The staff is very helpful and I would love to thank the M. D Mr. Mohammad Shafi for his warm welcome.he is the best. He’s very kind to his guests and very caring allahumdulillah ️I just loved my stay there’s and would definitely visit again

As the electricity went off, the generator was started, this caused the spike in the voltage which overheated the blower and electric blanket. This almost started a fire
Had I not been woken up by the excessive heat, I am sure, the entire hotel with wooden interior could have burnt down
We immediately turned off blanket as well as the blower and demanded to shift on another room to our dismay, the other room was infested with rodents. This kept us awake the entire night as a little mouse kept roaming around in the room

Food: - test of food is very nice we loved it.jain food is also best. Restaurant for jain is separate. Behavior of staff is best, Specially Mr Shafi ji & burman raj provide best service for dinner. They also arrange candle light dinner for us. They provide food at choviyar time also.thanks again Mr Shafi Magray

We stayed only for one night at hotel Himalaya Discover Resort Pahalgam and wished we had stayed for longer. The hotel staff are extremely courteous and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious. The backdrop is of breathtaking snow covered mountains. Definitely would recommend an overnight stay at pahalgam and especially at hotel Himalaya Discover Resort Pahalgam.

Out of world service, class ambience, cultured people: who know hospitality to the core, I found the service standard at par with international norms, never got the feeling that my family is in the middle of mountains.we were offered Lidder (river) facing rooms. Trout (fish) was ossum, so was their breakfast spread. An urge to help always exceeded our expectations, we were literally at cloud no. 9 after being at Himalaya Discover Resort Pahalgam.

Great tours my Kashmir

It's a great hotel with wonderful foods; very helpful staffs. The view and location of this hotel himalaya discover is the best in Pahalgam and can beat any five star hotel. Rooms are spacious and heating is comfortable. Trout fish dishes are very good.

It was a comfortable stay with home made delicious food with clean rooms and bathrooms, the view from rooms is lovely the breakfast and dinner were superb good and served hot. The hotel has an amazing locale - road side rooms have river view and other rooms have mountain views.
