The combination of Chicken Vindaloo with Roti was a revelation. The spicy vindaloo and soft rotis were a perfect match.

I have gone this is very big zoo and there are many animals like lion, Himalan bear, Bear, tiger, hyena, elegator, crocodile, turtle, monkey, langur, birds, snakes, etc. This is amazing I like this zoo very much and you may also visit. And there is another thing that is Aquarium of other side of NH.

You may also visit that, I think this should be longest zoo in India

Zoo also offers Battery Operated Vehicles and Boating facility to visitors including other facilities like Drinking water, Rest Area with Sheds at regular interval, First Aid Box, Wheel Chair for Physical Challenged person, Toilets and Lavatories, Direction Map and Sign Board for navigation, Information Center for visitors, Kiosks, Service, Guide Map and Canteen Facility

Located away from the city on Ranchi-Khunti Road, Bhagwan Birsa biological deer park breeds two types of deer- Sambar and Chital and boasts of housing 45 sambar deer and 129 chital deer. Numerous viewing points have been constructed inside the park for visitors to observe the wildlife. The panoramic view of the park from these towers is breathtaking. Spread across an area of 23 ha, the park also houses a wide variety of trees such as Sal, Bel, Neem and Ber. If you are visiting with children, do check out the Children’s Park located near the entrance. It also has a canteen and other facilities to ensure a comfortable experience. Don’t forget to visit the Ranchi River which is next to the park for a relaxing experience.

The path is too long and one has to walk a lot to cover whole park.
Though retaurant facility is available inside the park, but You can carry water bootle and food inside.

If you are visiting here then keep it in mind that it is too long. It covers a large area but there are no such animal, the gap between two cages of animals is minimum 500 metre. You should visit but as early as possible before 12 PM.

It was good. I went in winters so snake house was closed. I think they should work on canteen. It's too crowed. You can see all shorts of animals there. You should vist this place.

The place is good in every aspect but the lake inside it is useless because no boats are in good condition.

Great place for 2-3 hours outing with family. My kiddo liked it. Small canteen is there to try out snacks. Carry your own umbrella and water. Be aware of mosquitos.

Beautifull clean place. Kids loved it. All animals looked healthy. Hippo, porcupine and so many peacocks were a few highlights.

Firstly, the place is outside of township, so if you are searching for peace, then this place can really help.
Apart from that you can find a wide variety of different animals including rare reptiles, birds, land mammals etc which will be a visual galore.
Since it's a biological park, you will get the feeling of a jungle safari, specially if you walk.
But you can even ride the vehicles inside the park if you are tired and want to save time.

There is a separate section for the snakes for which you have to take extra ticket while entry. There is electrical transportation vehicle which takes you around zoo is available at an extra cost. For booking of this you have book at the ticket counter.

It's a very nice place for family outings. You have animals in there, a snake house is what attracted me the most. You have cafeteria, toilet and taps of drinking water inside.
They also have a facility of boating for roundabout experience. It's an ideal choice of a family Sunday. One More thing they have an electronic cart for senior citizens.

Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park. It is an eventful place situated in the lap of nature. It is spread over the area of 104 hectare land on the excursion of Ranchi. It is comprised of two halves; one is zoological park while other half is a botanical park. The large area is dedicated for the enclosures of animals while small area on the other side is given for rare species of plants and trees.

Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park was established and handed over to public in the year 1994. It is one of the major attractions of Ranchi tourism which draws nearly 4 lakh visitors in a year. The most significant feature is Getalsud Dam located on southern side and Sapahi, a seasonal sea encompassing from other sides. The park has been developed in Ranchi to educate people regarding wildlife along with information about forest conservation.

I used to come to meet my girlfriend in Jharkhand, we came here and enjoyed the beauty of the garden, I always remember the memories of the time spent with my pitku.that day my girlfriend was afraid of being caught by her mama.

If you live in ranchi or a visitor and tried of movies, shopping malls, park and restraunt.can go this place and spend atleast 2 to 3 hr of the day. To save money u can do one things pair with other groups to make a group of atleast 25 ppl. This place is nt having that enlarge collection of animals. Bt u will get some good spot for photographs. Number of Battery car inside park should be increased. It was just 3 and we waited almost 2 hours for our turn to get the vehicle.however, Overall experience was good. Nice place to visit with family.

Awesome place to have a whole day masti. U can easily spend 6 to 8 hours here with many animals. The elephants are well trained and will entertain with their activities.

My thought is best biological park not present animals stock like rinosours & Zebra in ranchi & wolf & Chamlian Lizard. And many premium animal not include in park jirf Cangaru. Very cheep facilty for people I mean goverment provinding a van for tourisam in park not valid for peoples

Has almost every animal in good condition. One thing that is very different here is that you can get a very close look at the animals.
