Because of this coordination and synchronisation, we are able to live a healthy life on Earth. However, there has been massive exploitation of resources due to various anthropogenic activities, and now, it has become a threat to our planet. It is so disheartening that the gifts of nature are being mishandled and exploited, thereby threatening our survival on the whole. So, it is important that all of us understand the need to preserve our natural resources and see to it that our future generations also get to enjoy what we do.

Good and very big ground huge spot for playing cricket and at the same time many learning to drive cars and bikes or scooty in the ground. In February, march it holds some Mela which is one of the biggest in Ranchi and it holds political rallies and it has chowpaty by the side of it for fast food, but too much loose dust on the ground that blows with wind and can go into your eyes so be carefull.

Nice to for morning and evening walk. Clean and green area. You can learn vehicle driving here as well, both two and four wheeler. Good place to hangout. In morning there will be barricades so that vehicle can't enter when you're jogging or walking. You can take cycles also on rent and spend a great time cycling. Badminton can also be played here. There are snacks stalls as well for quick snacks. Overall awesome place.

The ground is very big it gets crowded at morning time 4am. For jogging its a good place and for exercise.

Though this place is very crowded.i find one a best place here.as i visit this place regularly. Morabadi ground is approximately 6-7 km far from my home.this place is now a days very famous for momo's and tea.rhis ground is just near a Birsa Munda hockey stadium.and its a very good place for me because i spend my evening there itself with my friends.

Good venue for fairs like Sara's Mela but the ground needs to be maintained better. Location wise very good.

Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium is a stadium in Ranchi, India, used mostly for association football matches and for athletics. It hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2011 National Games of India. It has seating capacity of 35,000 spectators. Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium was the inspiration behind the renovation of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi that hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Among the ideas adopted by CWG organisers was the imported, dust and fireproof roof that has been used in the Ranchi stadium, which boasts a seating capacity of 35,000. To host all the athletics events, apart from the opening and closing ceremonies, the main stadium occupies pride of place in the 275 acres (111 ha) Mega Sports Complex. With its many elliptical pylons and ramps that lead to the upper tiers, it adds to the futuristic look of the area that houses seven other smaller stadiums.

The stadium's fire-, dust- and rust-proof roof is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Designed by an Australian firm, the 11,550 square metres (124,300 sq ft) roof material was imported from Japan for ₹ 80 million and took four months to fix. It is maintenance free and has a 15-year warranty. The stadium has two such roofs, one at the VVIP section and one at the press box.

Four towers of high-lux lights are installed for conducting sports events at night.

As many as 12 double lifts have been fitted in the stadium. Four towers in the corners connect to middle and upper galleries. The pathways are designed to allow wheelchairs till the upper tier. Visitors will take this route. But, there will be no overcrowding or security problems when VVIPs and players enter the stadium. The disabled, too, can reach the top gallery without any difficulty.

An air-conditioned enclosure inside houses a six-lane warm-up track of 80 meters. No athletics stadium in India has such tracks. Participants can use this half-an-hour before their events.

The synthetic track, designed according to international standards, is imported from Switzerland. The grass, however, is home-grown – from Chennai.

Doing away with cemented pillars, 62 elliptical pylon columns of 20 metres (66 ft) in height surround the stadium, which, from some angles, resemble a spaceship.

Thirty-six lounges, with all basic facilities, are being prepared on the ground floor to accommodate state contingents. Besides, there are 32 dormitories that can accommodate 1,000 people.

अभी जब मै इस मैदान का रिव्यू लिख रहा हूं तो यह खादी मेला जो झारखंड सरकार और झारक्राफ्ट की मदद से यहां आयोजित किया जा रहा।
इससे रांची का lungs भी कहा जाता है क्यूकि यहां सुबह कसरत करने आने वालों की काफी बड़ी संख्या होती है।
यह रांची में झारखंड सरकार की योजनाओं को लागू करने और अपनी बात लोगों तक पहुंचने के लिए इस मैदान इस्तेमाल अक्सर किया जाता है।
