Extremely excellent food, the rooms staff and all of them are quick and responsive and friendly. Most importantly hot water to bath always! Water, food, service, activities! Just like a wow!

Good food and good resort to have fun with family n chill. Staffs r very good. Timing of food served is quite late and needs improvement

First of all we would like to thank staff members Dimple (boy) and Ganesh served very good service to all family member well behaved … and next food is good but not as expected … veg food is fine but non veg is okok…chicken gravy was nice last night dinner…. Rooms are clean and hot water available all time……

Fantastic place at very affordable prices, lot of activities on the property nestled amidst green mountains. The food was just great with right amount of spice (some resorts make their food too spicy making it hard to digest). The staff are very kind and helpful, a shoutout to Gulaal, who was so attentive. WiFi is available on the property with good signal to work or attend online meetings. Definitely recommend.

Very Good.we had been for Team Outing on 8th Sept 2023. Staff was really very cooperative. Specially Joby sir very much helpful and very supportive.

Sallugudda Resort as name defines it is situated near rows of mountain. Superb hospitality started right from the minute we entered the resort and till we checked out. We were assigned with an ever smiling and cute guide Dimple (Dimpu)

Food was tasty and clean and also rooms were clean. A lots of activities like Swimming, mud volleyball, rain dance, rope activities, indoor and outdoor games. Felt refreshed I would strongly suggest this resort

The road leading to the resort is very difficult to access and if you are using a small vehicle it’s a struggle (nightmare) to pass through and I can’t imagine during rain season… they can arrange for alternative parking and jeeps to commute to the stay.
One thing that was truly remarkable was their staff being so friendly, generous and patient, they never said no to any requests made. The food was always so good and appropriate to all age groups.

Had a wonderful experience staying at Saalugudda, really enjoyed every activities. Food was amazing and Jugal really took good care of us. Definitely worth a visit.

Service n location is fabulous. Named Biju who is one of the caretaker was so humble. Food I ll rate 4.5 out of 5 and need one more non veg starter as lunch n dinner.

Good place to completely disconnected from world and live in peace for few days.
The staff/house keeping were very friendly and understanding with our requests.

Amazing stay! We are group of 6 adults and 3 kids, booked a room no. 3 and it's spacious, neat and tidy. Here the staff is courteous and helpful. Let me not forget to mention about Kumudh, he is super responsive and impressive behaviour. Food was tasty and even kids enjoyed it. The sound of nature and mesmerizing view gave us so much joy, that we can't express in the words.we definitely love to visit again and it's recommended stay for everyone.

Only Location is good.
Following are things which we didn't enjoy in our stay
1. Snakes found in swimming pool which they didn't bother to remove from the pool.
2. Two pet dogs (heavy in size) roaming in and around the resort, where ours kids refuse to go out of room.
3. No hot water for morning bathing. On request, it will come for very minutes and then stops.
4. Food is not upto the mark.

Will have to give it a 5 star as we were the only family staying and the rooms were just so huge. We had it all to ourselves. Coming to the staff, they were really friendly. There were two dogs, Gunda (Harmless Rottweiler)
and Danny. (German Shepherd) There was a natural pond. Fun games and everything. Food was also nice.

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy with family and friends. The serenity of the place, awesome food, interesting activities including a natural pool, friendly staff, the affordability and two super friendly dogs.all these make Salugudda unique and incredible place. At least spend two days there to enjoy the the stay completely.

Saalugudda is a perfect place to spend quality time of with our families. Especially the two dogs GUNDA and DANNY such a friendly dogs they are. Staff they are so kind and friendly and very good in terms of taking care of everything. Rooms are so huge and hygienic. Food is ultimate.

Visited on 2nd and 3rd October with family and family friends.
The rooms are very spacious with two levels of beds, similar to a dormitory.
Balcony and windows face a lake and lucious greens. Windows and doors can't be kept open post sunset because of flies and insects. Be prepared with cotton earbuds to protect your ears from insects. Both veg and non-veg food available and are served seperately in a buffet. Mobile connectivity is zero, no internet or call on most of the places on the property. Hot water available throughout the day. Very co-operative and helpful staff, two friendly pets, one rottweiler-gunda and German Shepherd- Danny follow you everywhere, don't bite or bark.
A pond in the middle is a place of attraction with colourful fishes, trekking also available for both beginners and professionals, a longer one, about 5Kms. The whole property is surrounded by green hillocks as the name suggests, Saalu- line and Gudda- hills in kannada.

Well maintained resort with clean rooms and bathroom. Food are good and quite a bit of varieties. Around 2km it's a off-road drive to the resort. Main highlights are two friendly dogs.

Staffs were too gentle. Authentic food and very delicious (people who loves south Indian food will have a blast) you will make a new furry friend called GUNDA, who steals your heart making mischievous things with you. Dont miss to play with him - he is your stress buster. Have to acknowledge how gentle staffs were - they will take care of everything you need

Its been a great experience at Saalugudda. We enjoyed a lot. The place is in midst of nature. Amazing place, loved the food. Staff were so cooperative. Activities were really enjoyable. Zip line and mud volley ball were great experience. Trekking was really amazing with two human friendly dogs- Rowdy and Danny. These two dogs were one more attraction at the resort. Harsha was so kind and helpful guy. Mesmerized with nature. No network no disturbance, so we had lost in the nature, out of city routine. Scope for improvement at Music system which is used for rain dance and more importantly the food which we ordered apart from the package were not so great. However all the 3 meals with the package were great. There were other activities such as 3 rope activities.

Must visit place if you are planning to stay in Sakaleshpura.very good hospitality, very well maintained location and view from the place is breathtaking.

Saalugudda the name itself says it all. Ranges of mountains. Beautiful place to get lost from city choas. We were 17 of them and given separate dorm. Clean and spacious toilets and a Separate space fr BBQ and fire camp. They have 2 dogs and a puppy. They were adorable and friendly. The food was great in malnad style. They have activities like rope walk, zipline, rain dance, a small pond to play and a mud volleyball court. Trekking to nearby hill was the most memorable thing ever. Will def recommend this place and will visit again for sure. Special mention to the guide/helper CHARAN he was very friendly and took very good care of us. The owner was also very humble RADHA.

"It was great fun filled experience! Food was good, we had thrilling adventurous trip on the jeep, Camp Fire, Swimming in the natural pool, Zip Lining, Cricket, Badminton, Mini Basketball ground. The cottages are good. There are leeches which one have to be aware of. Going on weekdays would be better, as weekends are much rush. They have given tents for extra members. There were Spiders though if it's in outside, maybe you call it as Wild Spiders.

Cons:
1. No Connectivity for Vodafone, only Airtel and Jio with less signal
2. You won't find any team building instructor unlike other resorts
3. No street lights, no proper roads so stick together in the night
4. There is lack of Fans, all are table fans and the will provide few.
5. Cool Drinks are there but less quantity, anyways don't expect much on food/drinks. Remember this is in forest area

It was a good experience being there. Eco friendly resort, decent stay. Friendly staff. Fun activities in the resort are worth trying. The restaurant serves very delicious food. Adventurous and peaceful experience away from the city noises and concrete building, it’s a nice place to trek and relax.

Saalugudda the place is located center of mountains, very good place and neat rooms, you can see view of resort in YouTube or website, Pros: there are activities available like, mud volleyball, batmiton, basketball, natural pond, zip line for adults and kids, rope activities etc, Cons: cricket ground is too far where they didn't provide Jeep facility to reach cricket ground, food was average there is no choice in food nor there was varities in food, it was disappointing for our group members, service was also very slow, overall average but place is good to stay

SaaluGudda, probably means the last hill. One of the many homestay's in Sakleshpur, Karnataka. It was fun.had a great time with family.

They have multiple activities setup.rope climbing, zip-line, volley ball, water based.etc. A note of precaution - there was no safety harness provided nor were there any safe landing nets below. We had a incident of falling from the rope activity - badly bruised, luckily no broken bones, couple of bad head bump's on the zip-line (again no helmet provided).

Food was not the best.just the regular. Nothing authentic. I mean no traces of Malnad cuisine. Cottages are well maintained and very helpful staff. Price is moderate (negotiable).

Team SaaluGudda.it's a wonderful setup, but safety is a basic necessity, you guys might want to revisit that area.
