It doesn't deserve 50rs for rasmalai no taste nothing it's pathetic waste of money before ordering check the rate in Bangalore wherever you eat you will get better quality in same price
Very bad Aloo chat I have eaten ever in my life, it costs 60 Rs but the quality is very poor, only aloo and tasteless, as per me it should cost 10 Rs.but if you eat Samosa that is worth and taste is also good
A small sweet and chat shop at the end of 24th main road. It serves mainly Odia and Bengali sweets. Their Dahi wada is awesome. It is served in a leaf bowl. Wada would be dipped in a watery curd liquid. They would mix little chhole and aloo dum and garnish with sev. Other chats are aloo chaat, samosa and kachori chaat. In the sweet counter, you have all kind of chena mithai, sandesh etc. This is the only shop in Bangalore that i know who serves chena poda, the GM tag sweet from Odisha. If you know any other, put in comments and i will visit them.
Really a great shop down near Jagannath Temple, Agara Junction Bangalore. Had variety of odia sweets and delicacies. Wonder location for a tasty odia breakfast and snacks. The singada (samosa), Vada, guguni and chennapoda/rasagola are a must try.
Sweet shop with odia food and snack (without onion & garlic). Traditional/authentic sweets (mainly the odia style) are available but don't have enough space. No dine in available.
I am from Puri odisha, i visited that'Shop today, i purchased pheni fron that Shop, but quality is very worst, i also purchased Rusmallai that's taste is an issue, i request them to improve quality oodissa sweet,
If you like a taste of Odisha then this is a must visit shop for sweets and savouries. They are located behind the Jagannatha Temple in Agara. True to the Krishna followers' practice, they don't use onion or garlic; but still make a very tasty samosa. Sweets are a bit too sweet though for me.
Place is good for sweets, but these guyz charge really high and the quality is bad. I got rasagulla and chhenapoda today, they charged for the plastic container. Sweets were bad.rasgulla is rupees 25 each.
I generally buy from Vishal in panathur road.rasgulla is 16 rupees and chhenapoda is 450.the taste is much better than this guyz.
If you are looking for the odiya Chena podo or a juicy malpua or aloo/potato chop, just head to this sweet shop just behind Jagannath temple beside Hanuman mandir in HSR. Chena podo tastes good, would have been even better if it was less sweet. The caramelized sugary dark portion is crusty & delicious. You get jaggery rasagullas, samosa, dahi vadas etc. Prices are reasonable. The also deliver through aggregators! Happy satiating your sweet tooth!
Best in the town. Wish they have more branches across Bangalore city in the future. They have maintained their standard and quality since the inception, which is rare in the market.
The sweets are a bit over priced and the way the staff act is not really customer centric. Taste is good but i am still struggling to accept the price. No parking, narrow lane and no online ordering. Fries are definitely better than the sweets. Overall i will score a 4/5
Actually I ordered some of the sweets for delivery to our home. As Rabdi and Rasmalai were packed in paper cups covered with butter paper and rubber bands which created a mess in the box which was also of soft one packing. Rasmalai was cost wise more and taste wise less tasty. I thought that it's an outlet of छप्पन भोग, लखनऊ ।
Without onion and garlic recipes are available. Lunch and snacks available. Sweets are average in taste. Bara, Singda, dahi bara etc etc available here. Recommended for sweets and snacks (without onion and garlic). Taste is average.
Just a loot in the name of Odia Sweets- guys he is charging the price of Anand Sweets with a low standard and unhygienic quality.
All the Sweets are filled with more of sugar and less in quality - I had rabidi which tasted sugar crunches and charged 60 A small gulab Jamuna type sweet was charged 45
Chhena poda is not that much poda which should be speciality of Chhena poda. It is kind of Ok for bangalore city. Food without onion garlic is good option for pure vegetarians and Jain'sbit it is 150₹ which is bit pricey
Not worth. The food here doesn't have quality or taste. Also cleanliness and hygiene are zero. This is an odiya style quick bite store. I tried Chaat here which costed 50₹ per plate. They served only aloo masala with half piece of nimki and sauces/spices. No taste, it felt like I was eating some curry. Disappointed!
Best place to have Pheni, Chennapod and Pahala Rasagulla, Chuda Mixture is the best. Whenever I visit Agara, visiting 56 bhoga is must, I have taken my non-odiya friends and colleagues to have sweets and snacks, they loved it.
Morning if you go, you can have veg breakfast and in afternoon sometimes Sada lunch thali is available.
They deliver through Swiggy as well. I ordered Pheni on Rojo and sweets delivered were well packed and fresh.
Year 2021: Please don't come here with loads of hope for Dahibara Aloodum, Aloo Chop and Ghugni. Nothing will match you expectations of authentic taste of odia snacks. Vada I tried was not great quality, inedible and was smelling. Dahivada aludum had very hard vada as well, and was not tasting great.
Sweets are good. You can visit to get some Odia sweets from here.
Food is definitely good. I think it might b the only reason for its popularity. Their customer service is really bad. It's like they are doing you a favor by serving you
Good and decent place for authentic sweets. Most of the sweets linked to Odia culture mainly Chenna Podda, Rasgulla etc are really tasty. Evening snacks are good. This place is close by Sri Jagannath Temple. Not much parking place available but one can find around.
The best of the odia sweet delicacies. Love the chhena poda, rasogulla, chhena gajaa and Rabdi. U get great mixture and Badi too. Good odia feeling within the cosmopolitan city.
Visited this place for variety of traditional Odia sweets offered. Taste of sweets and fried snacks are simply awesome, pahala rasagolla and singada being a notable mention.
One of the few places in Bengaluru where get Odiya dishes. I go here for chenna poda and rasgolla. Not as good as the ones you get in Odisha but probably the best in Bengaluru. Slightly more expensive than average.
Chenna Poda, Chenna Jhili, Tadiya, Rasaballi Malpua's are excellent. Fritters are made without onion and garlic, may not suit everybody's taste buds. But expensive but worth it.
Very nice place especially for Jain's (as all food items were without garlic and onion). In addition to that you will get aunthentic Odia dishes, Sweets, Lunch and Dinner.
Behind Jagganath Temple, Agar circle, Bangalore. We bought Chenna Jilli, Chenna Poda, Chenna Gaja, malpua, khira gaja, and kalajam, Chenna poda was the only thing that was close to the actual taste.
Very very bad, they are blaming to Odisha by making such type of worst quality sweet. No knowledge about making sweet, simple making people to fool. Near Jagannath temple, their making fraud. Hey Lord save them.
Sweets are not good. May be because i have been trying from Vishal sweets since a long time. I had dinner few days back. Food was amazing. Perfect odia dish.
