Its not just a restaurant, its a resort, enjoy various gaming activities, pool, rain dance, awesome ambience along with good food, it is little heavy on pocket, but still so much to enjoy.
Bad food at exorbitant prices. Will avoid it in future. We ordered vegetarian food including starters, mocktails and main course. For starters, we ordered Tandoori Mushroom and Tandoori Malai Soya Chaap. While Tandoori Mushroom was OK, the Tandoori Soya Chaap was horrible. All we could taste was boiled soya grits with no tandoori taste. We ordered many mocktails but they were totally disappointing, tasting like cough or antibiotics syrups. For main course, we ordered Kadai Paneer, Mandi Wali Sabzi (mix veg curry), Sabzi Biryani, Ajwaini Naan, and Tandoori roti. Kadai Paneer was below average (even the hardcore South Indian eateries make much better Kadai Paneer), Mandi wali sabzi was worst (mixed vegetables thrown in a confusing mix of spices, no taste), Biryani was horrible, Ajwaini Naan probably didn't have Ajwain and tasted rubbery, Tandoori roti was served cold and hard. Along with bad food, their processes and service is also bad. They have foolishly used QR code and Whatsapp based ordering system. I got different bill amounts on Whatsapp and printed bill (not sure if I could sue them but difference is significant). Service is really bad despite many people engaged in it. After asking 3-4 times, one person finally brought onions and raita for Biryani. The only decent thing about this restaurant is open space around dining area where children can play. I totally regret my decision to visit this place. It was my birthday dinner with family but bad food and bad service simply ruined the occasion.
The place is pretty good with very fun activities like archery, indoor games, foosball, ect. Its a place where there is too much variety of food so recommended to go to eat brunch with families or friends.
We were there for lunch yesterday’ and the food was so bad. The meat was undercooked ans stale. I’ve fallen sick coz of this place. Service is slow and backward. Don’t recommend this place, it has lost its charm.
It's inside resort so ambience is no doubt great. Restaurant is on higher price brand and taste is good but not something very finger licking. Most important the portion is very less. I had 6 small pieces of paneer in 350 and 6 piece mushroom at 350 hardly sufficient for 2 people as starter.
Arranged a get together in the restaurant with a pre decided fixed menu for around 35 adults over a week end. The quality was sub standard be it the starters, mocktails or be it the vegetables & biryani served. Spoiled the entire occasion. Though known for it food quality, it was pathetically poor. The starters were not properly done/half cooked with some masala added/ Biryani was more of curry-patta fried rice / mixed veg was turned into a gravy dish and mocktails (green blue lagoon served). Pl avoid this place for larger gatherings, and pre-booking the menu as the hotel would then compromise on the quality. Overall a very poor experience.
The operators of this place should be ashamed of themselves to offer sub standard food with measly quantities at premium prices! Dal makhani with 0% authenticity and paneer khurchan with 0% gravy and overall qty not sufficient even for a couple. Charge the rates but provide something in return! Even the taste of both items was extremely substandard! Dont waste your money here!
My five year old kid got food poison from this restaurant. She started vomiting while returning. Finally we had to take her to hospital.
We informed this to the restaurant on phone but they just disconnected the call stating we will look into this. Personally I am not happy with their response.
Had a lovely Al a carte lunch. Super tasty mocktails, butter nans, non veg platter, paneer tikka to name a few dishes. Great staff, kind and courteous. The restaurant is located out doors and is well covered. Hats off to the Chef wonderful tasty dishes. Good parking space. This part of the Royal Orchid Resort group. Approx cost 1500 for two with Mocktails.
The food items here are not worth the price. We ordered veg starters that didn't taste good, non veg soup and main course were okay-ish. The waiters were attentive and professional so giving them 4 stars. Atmosphere of the place is decent.
Had been there for lunch. The waitress was very curtious. The subzi biriyani was bad. The rotis and side dish were good.please don't try the French fries A very expensive place. A big no for vegetarians. The ambience is good.
Somewhat pricey with drinks. We had Indian whisky, a nonveg platter, Rotis with a Subzi and Dal. Place is Neat, not crowded at all for a Saturday night. There was a Ghazal singer but no one took much notice of him, he was good in patches. Food was good and still better was the Service.
Food was pathetic, hardly there was much choices in buffet. Just a chicken & fish curry. Startes were just haryana kebab, which was some bones slapped with green masala. Spring roll was worst than average spring roll. Deserts was jamun, phirni, pastry, no ice cream.
Staff were so disconnected, someone said the buffet was 799 and we were billed 899, after discussion they agreed for 799. In fact a staff came up to us and told I hope you know you have to pay for it, that was so absurd.
Poor service with inexperienced staff and managers. Looks like the management is into cost optimization. Reduced number of waiters and cooks. Order took long time. Appetizer came after one push to the manager. Then main course came after one more nudge and threatening to walk away. Food was good. The manager gave 15 percent discount but our mood had turned off by then and I didn't pay much attention what the amount was. Just wanted to exit the place. There was just one water cooler on one end of the dhaba which added to our woes for the day. This place is good for a take out not for dining experience.
A very Unwelcoming Vibe! Rainy evening in Bangalore.and the seats were full. As I didn't go with a reservation so it's pretty understandable that there were no seats in an outdoor setting.
But what I didn't like was the way I was told that there are no seats and no chance of getting seats! The the attitude of the person in-charge was very unwelcoming and the way the I was informed was outright rude and repulsive. Even a roadside hotel would show more hospitality for a family crowd! Never gonna set my foot in the place ever agn
Bad experience with their service and though the restaurant shows up under ZOMATO Pro and Dineout, they refuse to accept the payment via these 2 on weekends. They are fine on weekdays, which is ridiculous.
Good ambience but food quality is average. Not worth traveling far to taste average food. Also cross check your bill before you make the payment. They had added some items which were not ordered by us.
Had visited this place for lunch on the 13th Feb and was a disaster. These guys have a serious attitude problem. Menu cards are dropped at the table without even bothering to inform about the food, choices etc. They don't know the meaning of etiquette. Food is dropped off on the table without bothering to serve of even ask if we needed help. The so called manager on the floor was strutting around without a care in the world. Food is very mediocre not worth the hype. An order of chicken was dropped off at my table when I mentioned very clearly that we were vegetarians! @#$% overall a place u can skip if u don't want a spoilt lunch or dinner!
I ordered take away through swiggy. The first time the restaurant mixed my order with another person's who had the same name as me. 3 of my items were missing.
On my 2nd order I didn't even get my delivery. The delivery person didn't arrive to pick up the order and the app showed me that my order was delivered. I had to complain for a refund because when they tried to replace my order the restaurant was out of the item when the app clearly showed the items being avaliable.
I tried to contact the restaurant so many times but no one picked up. Why do you have a phone number listed if you won't pick up any calls. I have never in my life seen such bad customer service. I'm really disappointed with the unprofessional attitude of these people. They deem themselves as professionals when they can't even preprare a single order right.
I will never recommend going to this restaurant or ordering from here. They have a very poor attitude regarding their customers. If you don't want to serve then please close down and do the world a favor.
The service is pathetic. Every order they will deliver to your table would be wrong. Uncooked food was served. I had ordered for soft drink which was kept on side table under direct sunlight for more then 15 mins. Nobody had clue whose order it was. I had to tell the waiter that laying beverage is mine. Veg starters were ordered non veg was served. Upon asking again no one had clue. If you are having good day don't ever think of visiting this place they will screw your happy day and if you are having bad day then tho don't even dream of having food at this place they will enjoy seeing you having bad day.
One of the worst hospitality. We visited for the dining, and found the manager very rude and arrogant. Though there were many tables vacant (not reserved), he denied any service. We would never come back.
Had been to this restaurant with family after two years. Main draw is the huge open space where kids can run around and play. Ordered Amritsari kulcha and malai kofta as has per their ads in ToI. Also Chana pindi. Food was pretty disappointing. The kulchas were supposed to be bit crispy outside and multiple layers inside. What we got was stuffed paneer Paratha or something. Was soggy and taste was not great. Even the kofta and chana curries were not that good. But kids did have a good time running around the huge campus and playing. Overall decided not to go again. Food is nowhere near punjabi. Not authentic at all. Suggest management to get a good punjabi cook who will do justice to the recipes.
The ambiance is good. It's obvious because it is inside the orchid resort.
Food review: The taste need to improve alot. The type of crowd I saw was a chill-out on a weekend or catch up for booze. The dim lighting for a chilled beer is good. But, the taste doesn't satisfy the pallet. Their starters - paneer (I felt like eating raw paneer), the gravy didn't had any flavor nor spice. Sheek kabab - (I just killed my taste buds) it's just raw flour in my mouth. Mushroom tandoori - except the tandoor I just had the mushroom ️
Main course - malai kofta was good. Nothing wow but compared to starters I felt the bread and kofta good.
Rice: tried biryani and it was good. It had elegant flavours and had good taste.
Mocktail: do not try mango slim (mango was soo sour) Don't go for black panther (I just had jam)
Over all: ok - please do improve the taste. Please change the chef or improve the taste.
Food is good and the place is good, but pathetic service.it took us all of 2.5 hours to get some drink, starters and food.may be the worst service that I have come across.the waiters are not to blamed because they were trying to do their best, but the mgmt needs to give it some serious thought. We used to go to this place once every few months, but this time was the heights and we are done with this place.
Would rate negative if had an option. Worst ever service by the restaurant. The chef was lazy to prepare the dish which was in the menu. Please be careful they will be charging for the dishes which we have not taken.
Ambience is good if you like open dining spaces. Parking available. Limited food options across categories. Had only starters and were good. Too far from main city.
This has been our go to place when we feel like dining at an open place that serves decent food. We went to 9th Mile with our parents during a weekend and my parents were treated to a live performance of Kishore Da's melodies along with some great food.
The place is really good, outdoor dining is a plus, with live songs on weekends probably, the ambience was really good and well suited for a family. However the menu is really expensive, forget menu even a litre of water bottle costs ₹110 like really bruh, are u guys combining H2 and O to make water or something
I visited the North Indian restaurant and food was good. Ambiance is great. The lighting, in the night, was good showing the Christmas festival. The was a live concert (old Hindi songs - mainly Kishore Ji's songs) for the audience at the dinner area during this season, when I visited and we all enjoyed it.
If you are customising the good taste be prepared to wait for 20 minutes as they need to cook from scratch (good thing is they will give you heads up for customisations). Also in the night there are mosquitos in the open area. So its best to apply mosquito repellent generously if you want to enjoy the food and ambiance in the night.
The kitchen is an open kitchen and you can see all which is being performed.
It's got a great garden atmosphere surrounding the hotel and the food is also pretty standardized. The ambience is very pleasing and staff is exceptionally polite and make you feel comfortable. Even the rooms are quiet expansive and they are rooms with a view resembling a coastal look. Only issue is with draught beer, which is rather confusing and there exists some uncertainty, as beers with fancy names are on offer? Instead of offering the local beers of Bangalore such as UBs Kingfisher or Mysore breweries famous Cobra, Some Belgian or German beers are on offer as draught beer but one wonders how s that possible as these are not any well known beer brands. Something wrong somewhere!?
Awesome. Everything, every detail, ambience, food qyality, environment, staff, everything was just awesome. Visited becoz it was a Zomato gold restaurant. There was a open cooking area. We had sarso ka sag and makke di roti. I hadn't have such a tasty sarso ka sag in my whole life. It was different. Staff were good. Quick to response. Masala appad was also good. Also ordered jeera rice. Jeera rice i didn't like becoz rice i didn't like (maybe i am not used to south indian rice taste).
It’s located inside royal orchid, food is decent.good for family and no music the restaurant is in the open lawn in the premises of royal orchid, food is good should try they chicken kabab very good, drinks are decently strong.not much options in desserts
1. Ambience: good low light outdoor tables, but was lil facing mosquitos 2.waiter: all kind and responsive. 3.cost: little pricy.even mango sin and fermina costs 200 each with tax 500 bucks. 4.taste: very good taste, my son and wife too really liked it. 5.note: expecting some fountain or some photogenic places:
Nice place with good ambience in garden. Bar is also there. Family restaurent with outdoor seating. Problem is mosquitos. They will put fan with high speed to avoid mosquito which makes food cold. Other option is mosquito coil. Price are very high and quanitity is average. Taste wise it is good. Place is spacious. They have open kitchen, you can go and see how they prepare food. Staffs are Very professional.
It's a great place for an evening drink and dinner. It's a restaurant in The Royal Orchid Hotel in Yelahanka. The ambience is North Indian/Punjabi style and there's a paanwala too in case you want to digest it all with a magai or a Calcutta paan. The food is great. The drinks are mostly bottled beers, Scotch, and cocktails. The service is great too. The family, friends and I had a good evening. Bon appetite!
Amazing food you get here at the 9th mile Dhaba. Restaurant in an open space in the Orchid Resort. It gets quite hot in the peak afternoon. You need to order your main course immediately after your starters have arrived otherwise there will be a long wait. All the curries were very tasty and rotis soft. Beyond the Dhaba takes you to the swimming pool Area and children play area.
