Pathetic experience, you order something and waiter will inform you after 30 mins saying that ordered food is not available

Their service and restuarant infrastructure needs to be revamped big time. Their mutton biriyani is amazing though. That's what makes me go there everytime despite the poor service.

Please DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Rats move around there in the dining area at day time, don't know what they do at night.we saw 2 rats, moving near the place where they keep plates and raita.when we informed the people who work there, they were not bothered which made me feel that they were aware of the presence of those rodents.
Those of you who order online, plz visit the place once and you will never order from there again, that's my guarantee.
I do not like giving such negative review, but this time I couldn't stop myself.

The quality and service of the food is depleted after covid.there is no staff and the quality of the food is so pathetic as they are serving freshly made food where as the charges are increased. I would suggest pl cross this from the Bengali restaurant list

This place has deforested over time. Unhygienic and almost all the food now not only tastes bad, no cooked properly, specially the Biriyani

Dirty and unhugenic. Couple of big rats inside the restaurant moving along the empty cleaned plates feeding on the leftovers. Caretakers are disinterested.

If u want to taste authentic Kolkata Biriyani this is the place. One of the best Kolkata Biriyani in town.ambience could be better.

Love to go for food here. This used to be our regular choice of place for takeaway and dine in for Biriyani and Rolls.
As per my recent visit last week, the quality for rice for Biriyani was great as always. But the quality of Chicken/Mutton has degraded compared to a few years ago.

I have been visiting this place for a long time. They used to serve good food. My recent experience was horrible. I visited the place for lunch and after 40 mins of waiting they served cold and stale chicken biryani. I also ordered chicken rezala, that was not even 1 percent rezala. It was completely waste. This place has lost its shine and is highly understaffed. The quality of food is no more there. They don't care about customers anymore. I think we won't find the place in business within 1 or 2 years from now. Couple of years back I was a regular customer to this place. I am really sad after seeing such pathetic condition of the restaurant. Once you visit here you will feel they are doing some kind of favor by serving your order. RIP Aalishaan.

The special chicken biriyani we had and it was totally made up of Dalda, and chicken chap was tasteless, overall a worst experience.

Been going to this place since 10+ years. Their rolls are the BEST.
My favorite is the double egg roll, reminds me of an old school Bangalore roll that you just don't get anymore here. Not sure how their other food options are because I've never really tried anything other than their rolls.

Would recommend eating a roll there instead of takeaway because rolls are not meant for takeaway!

Well, well, well, Aalishan has sincerely kept the "Arsalan Hype" up with Bengalis from Kolkata, in Bengaluru.

We ordered for a special chicken biryani with 3 pieces of chicken and extra egg, along with the Aalishan Chicken Kebab. We live near Whitefield and hence Swiggy Genie came to our rescue for the same. The total came to Rs. 812, and we received the food in around 30-40 Minutes post pick up.

The quantity is really good for 2 people, and as per my better half, Aalishaan's taste does remind her of Arsalan of Kolkata's fame, so I will take her word for it. We enjoyed the food, the quantity is good even for vociferous eaters and the kebab is just the best thing to have. The biryani is staple and the flavouring is balanced for the same.

Came to this place on 25th Oct 2020 for dinner. Ordered three special Mutton biryani and one special chicken Chicken Biryani. But to my surprise all meat piece are majorly bones laced with fats. Very poor in terms of quality but quantity is alright. Wash basin and restroom are very unhygienic. This place is simply no no for my repeated visit.

I will give one star or if possible I could have 0 to them, food quality is too bad. I bought biriyani which cost me Rs. 550 (which is overpriced). They mixed rotton biriyani, the smell was really bad lastly I have thrown it out. I will suggest everyone please dont go there. They are too bad now a days.

Food quality n quantity has gone down drastically over years, & they don't even bother about it I complained - that's really sad.

Aalishan provides you an aalishan bengali biryani at Kormangala, Bangalore. I will always tempt to come back here again for their biryani. Reason for giving four stars is that I hope in the near future they will add more spices of Aalishaaness in their Biryani recipe.

The food quality has drastically changed. Aalishan was famous for Kolkata style biryani. But on my last visit I found the taste of the biryani is no where like Kolkata biryani. The flavour of the aloo was also different. The quantity is great though! But that doesn't matter when you are in search of Kolkata style biryani here in Bangalore!

Everything here is very expensive. I don't mind paying if the food is good, but the taste was awful. My friend and I ordered a hyderabad chicken biriyani and tandoori chicken. Tandoori chicken was okay okay. I think that was the only good point here. But the biriyani was terrible. Never in my life have I tasted something that bad. Not to mention there was no sherwa given with the biriyani. The quantity of one plate was too much as well. I think 3-4 people can eat from that plate. But i still won't recommend it. There's also no softdrinks or juice available (I think there might have been lemonade though but I'm not sure). Service was also slow and the people there only seem to know Hindi making conversation though. Overall I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Aalishaan is known for its biriyani and they doesn't disappoint. It's always a new flavour of mutton or chicken I try whenever I go there and offers a heck lot of to choose from.

We gone for take away, ordered mutton biriyani and Alishaan special kaabab. It was just awesome, chicken kabab was so tender and biriyani was awesome.in Bengali what we say "kono kotha hobena"

People who are craving for Kolkata style biriyani should try this. You will get exact taste like kolkata.

Keep this up guys! Keep this same quality and taste that we get in Bengal.

I visited it on 4th jan. And it was not a good experience. I ordered veg biryani and when I tested, It was not good and also waited several minutes for food.

Pathetic food, if they are claiming its Kolkata biryani, then they must stop propagating the same. Its bowl of oil with some yellow rice n a stale piece of mutton, yeah only thing that has a similarity is the potato. THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED, POSITIVELY DO NOT VISIT!

Service is pathetic. The waiters have no count on their orders. They do not have manners also. Super bad attitude with the waiters who are taking orders but they do not have any check on it. If I had a chance I would have rated negative. Good is also not very standard and up to the mark. The other Bengali restaurants like Koshe kasha, sorse, bhojohori manna, sonar Bangla etc are exceptional in food and service. Definitely do not recommend to come here. It’s a waste of time and waste of money. The other person sitting next to my table also had hair and egg shells in the food. Worst experience ever. When asked for the manager they said he is in kolkata. They are just useless.

Good food quality. Quantity is sufficient for any giant. Complete Kolkata style biryani essence. Chicken pieces are also good and soft. Recomend to all bengali biryani lover must try Aalishan for varities of tasty foods. Keep it up Aalishan Restaurant.

They have improved the quality of Biriyani. However do note with normal mutton biriyani boiled egg is not served. But that's okay as far quality and taste is intact.

You will get biriyani in north Indian flavor but staff is not trained and not polite at all. Wait time is too much for this type of over rated restaurant.

It is mainly a Mughlai, Mediterranean, Indian restaurant and with diversity in dishes. I have liked their special Biryani which will be a great choice if you like Kolkata style Biryani (Awadhi). The ambience is very good, staffs are courteous. Good place to bring your family or friends or loved ones.

Very good. Nice ambience. Happening place. Every other thing like - ice cream bars, pubs, malls are at walking distance for just in case you want to shop after a sumptuous meal.

Drove 20+ km on a weekend to have the biryani because I had heard a lot about this place.
The ambiance is dated and service too slow. I used to think biryani is pre cooked and just needs to be served but the time it took here felt like it was being prepared from scratch!
The kabab tasted different and were good but that's it! I think they concentrate more on deliveries and less on the restaurant.
The chicken biryani was decent but the mutton one was too spicy.

We had biriyani, chicken dish and some other items. Food was reasonably priced and good if not excellent. It is conveniently situated. Staff were nice. It is mainly visited by Bengalis servicing and staying in Bangalore. It's a family type restaurant. It's located near kormangalam. No drinks.

Getting to have decent Kolkata biryani is a task in itself. Lazeez is a sore disappointment. So after checking out the reviews we went to Aalishan.
Ordered chicken tandoori and chicken biryani for me and hubstar had mutton biryani.
The tandoori was juicy and soft. The biryani was great. Aloo cooked to perfection. Portion size too is a lot for one person.
Definitely going back here again whenever the craving for Kolkata style biryani kicks in.

I don't remember the last time I ate in such an unhygienic place. I had eaten here a couple of years back and it was better.now there are no waiters to take your order.the tables are not cleaned.the place from where the dishes are given is so dirty.the normal water was looking yellow in the glass, you have to take mineral water.asked the waiter to give a special chicken biriyani and a chicken starter which they can serve quickly (he said mutton will take 20 mins to prepare). Waited for 30 mins.nothing served.after shouting as to when I can have the food.the biriyani came.after 40 mins.starter is still getting prepared.so cancelled the starters.the biriyani was not hot.the chicken (3 pieces. 1 leg piece which I had asked and 2 piece bones) was like rubber.the biriyani was not fresh.could not eat the chicken.ate the rice.paid 332/- and left.will not visit the restaurant ever or recommend anyone to visit it

The food is good, however there is no ambience in this place so, the cost seems little bit on the higher side considering it's just a normal eatery. The place is neat and clean but not fancy.

I ate kebabs and Lucknow biryani and both tasted great. The decoration of the food was good.

You can try this restaurant once if you are in Kormangala.

Serve kolkata biriyani quite good but quantity is very less, mutton meat piece is very small. Although staffs are helpful in nature. Prices are moderate.

Anyone in Bangalore, missing potato in biriyani (Kolkata style biriyani), don't be late come to this place. Don't keep your expectation exactly like Kolkata style but it's okay than what you get here as biriyani.

Waste restaurant with no power backup, substandard waiters, indecent manager and their intolerant behaviours. Request you guys to think before you enter this restaurant.

This restaurant is in Koramangala and it's so-called famous for Bengali food, Especially for Biriyani. In a rainy day, I and my wife went there at 9 PM and saw that there was no electricity in that restaurant and they are less bothered about it. Anyways we settled in a table and placed an order, Mutton Biriyani. They kept us waiting for more than an hour, still didn't serve our order, instead of when we were leaving at 10: 15 PM, the manager was showing us attitude saying that it may happen, sometimes you might wait for foods to be served in your table. Wait for 5 more mins we will serve the food. We just left and no one is bothered at all what they've done with us.

Good place for Bengali style biryani in Koramangala. Veg and non-veg options available. Chicken chap, malai kabab are must try.

Nice place to have Kolkata rolls and Kolkata style biriyani, in Koramangala. But the quality has degraded a lot now. Prices have gone high. The place is also little unhygenic and staff r rude
