Their initiative of Plate Bank for renting out cutlery and utensils at free of cost is an amazing program towards Zero waste events. I personally had an amazing experience and satisfaction.
My daughter Laxmi Rthey arranged.this event May God bless all.ajesh arranged annadanam for destitutes on the 2nd death anniversary of her husband, K. R. Rajeash. She booked for this event via Sri. M's Satsang Foundation. We.were quite touched by the smoothness with which
It's very well maintained and they function very smoothly with a great cause. Along with doing such an amazing work and providing meals to the needy, they also let people borrow steal containers on demand free of cost to decrease plastic usage in our society. I really recommend visiting them once and contributing in which ever way possible:)
An extraordinary effort to serve poor people. Started by late ex MP Mr. Ananrhkumar and now his family members are taking care of the trust. Kitchens were very neat and clean. Lots of people also got job in this trust and earning good salary.
Best place to rent cutlery You pay a deposit, but money is returned on returning the utensils Carry cash (enough) if u are renting more cutlery. I wish they popularise it more n more such units start across city, with ease of renting it out.
Ex MP Sri Anathakumar's Trust office and where every day food packets are getting for schooll children. During last week rain, foot packets were readied in lage numbers to deliver to rain affected people. Great place. Other politicians to learn from this place.
We procured plates and water glass for independence day celebration. The trust is helps in reducing the waste generation by providing the plates, spoons, bowls etc which is appreciated by the community.
Excellent idea of plate Bank. (plates, spoon, glass, etc) You can get plates by depositing advance amount (advance will be fully return) after returning plates.
Amazing NGO witch helps school children with the Mid day Meal Scheme, Teaching and many more schemes. This NGO also has a Plate Bank which is a collection of plates which is offered to Educational institutions, Private Organizations and other Personnel on request for use in Parties, Occasions etc. I personally also did my part by cutting onion (although eye tearing) for a afternoon. I also took part in the plant a tree initiative on every Sunday classified as Green Sunday. This NGO was launched under the direction of Late Ananth Kumar and is now run by his wife. This kitchen also follows a zero waste policy.
A very dedicated and well run organisation. Providing quality food to the needy - school children, Indira Canteens, others. Hats off to Smt Tejaswini Ananthakumar & and her team
Adamya Chethana is a trust where one can rent out plates and cutleries for their events to avoid disposables, this is just one among many other projects done by the trust. Mid day meal for kids, upcycled cloth bags, tree plantation the list of deeds with a social impact are endless. There are options to contribute from our end if one wants to. Can contact the office between 10 am and 5 pm
They have a plate bank concept where you can rent plates, glasses, bowls, huge and small vessels and all types of utensils for personal or business reasons. They will take a nominal amount as deposit which will be returned when you return the items. This is a very good initiative to reduce single-use plastic and other disposables. It would be great if you give them a donation as it helps them run the whole programme. You can rent it for a small event or a large gathering
Visited here as a part of GREEN SUNDAY programme. A big and working kitchen serving thousands of kids the midday meals (funded by govt also sponsored). A very good initiative about Afforestation and nature operations. This is really a great organisation to be a part of.
Wonderful work being done here by the foundation by serving hot meals in government schools.i love their way of reusing the vegetable waste as biogas, using organic fuel in the form of fuel cakes. They have started selling steel and copper water bottles too.
Well maintained, clean place which motivates to move towards sustainable source of energy. You will find Extremely friendly people all around you. I also got opportunity to meet Ms. Tejashvini AnathKumar mam, she is very polite and down to earth. Must visit place.
A very good initiative. They provide stainless plates, cups for rent, free of cost. Only thing is one has to pay security deposit. Once the items are returned, they return back the security deposit.
Nice work done by Adamya Chetana, serving food for 50,000 children everyday across Bengaluru and the vegetable waste is reused and not only that including water is reused. Also every Sunday they plant saplings in different parts of Bengaluru Known as Green Sunday or Hasiru Bhanuvara in kannada. This foundation was started by late sri Ananthakumar & now his wife smt Tejaswini Ananthakumar looks after the foundation.
One of the best place I visited. We should appreciate the planning and arrangement made by them to prepare the hygienic food for School Children of Bangalore in abandunt quantity. No wastages found premises. They are also mataining Boiler to generate steam for the food preparation. Agricultural waste is the main fuel for the Boiler. Staff are also advised strictly to wear hand gloves, head caps etc. Totally best place to have a good knowledge, if any body wants to go for such huge kitchen. One more thing which is very important one is that they are providing S S plates, tumblers and spoons as per your requirement at free of cost on returnable basis to avoid usuage of PLASTIC items. Bravo.
Get steel cutlery (plates, water and coffee cups, spoons, icecream cups) for free (No rent only security deposit) for any functions upto ten thousand pieces. Join hands with them to save nature. Avoid using plastic wherever possible.
This is the best best place ever cleaned.it is a clean kitchen inside. I really really liked sooooo much. They are very good people. We can enjoy there. They are serving more than 2500 schools. Hat's off
