Good for quick bite of south indian cuisine. Mediocre for others. Service and atmosphere definitely have a scope of improvement. After all dishing out good dosas cannot only be the attraction for customers.
Worst service. I visited there the Idli base price was 40 and 2 rs gst. My mobile phone was switched off, so could not pay online. I provided him cash 100rs, he denied giving saying I don't have 2 rs change. (I know logically it should be 8 but these were his words). I reiterated kya bhaiya fir nahi dena hai kya. He said irritatingly, either pay through machine or get the change. I did not like the way he spoke and found it insulting having standing there with money and he denying it for 2rs even though I was providing more than actual 42. I was literally like bhyi tu 50 kaat le but tameez mein toh bolna chahiye. But I found this insulting, the way in which he spoke so I stepped down from the shop without uttering a word and decided never ever to go there. Even my friend told he visited during closing time, though people were sitting and eating the staff denied saying it's closing time, he too went for idli. You need not cook, right? Just provide it, still. If higher management sees this review then take care of staff not to be concerned just about their monthly salary but atleast not to insult customer in a hospitality business. It affects your image as now in front of me. Earlier I used to visit for lunch and dinner. Though it was overpriced wrt its peers but due to proximity. But now will never ever go there, nor recommend anyone. It is just about this particular branch. I have visited A2B in Bellandur, there the staff and owner was so good. I even rated them 5* but here they lost me.
I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a cheese sandwich and was shocked when it arrived with the cheese completely melted and burnt. It was inedible and the worst sandwich I've ever had. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
Update: The other day had idly and Dosa that is really good, updating review.
Tried their Special South indian thali today their curries were either spicy or bland. North Indian options are better. Kesari was good. Service is excellent. Prefer having coffee and snacks from here.
Very bad service and food doesn't taste worth the price. I have visited A2B a week back and we ordered 5 dosa's parcel, dosa was ready within 15 minutes and they delayed us 1 hour saying chutney is not yet ready. By the time we had it, it was cold and the vegetables were also not properly cooked. The staffs doesn't respond, and were very rude when we queried about the order. I've been to A2B in Tamilnadu a few times, but this was a very bad experience I got and decided to never visit any of the A2B restaurants. NOT WORTH THE TIME, MONEY OR HEALTH. NEVER VISIT A2B Marathahalli
Waiters response is not proper. We have waited for 45 min to take the service from the waiters for the Lunch. Then the waiters r saying food is over. They don't take care of customer. Waiters simply do timepass by talking.
Even on Sunday no crowd. Waste of time. Most of items in the menu are unavailable. Lethargic service. Car parking is very difficult. I won't suggest to visit this branch.
We went for a dinner and orderd North Indian Thali and shezwan noodles, pathetic food
1) we had asked for THALI and not a plastic plate, 2) Tamato soup which was given was full of sauce taste and not a soup 3) Shezwan noodles was too Oily and there was no Shezwan but the bill was charged as per Shezwan 4) who gives curd rice in North Indian Thali, it was not a South Indian thali 5) the roti were soo small and the other items quantity doesn't justify the price at all 6) I am regretting after eating there, since I still have a Gas issues even after taking Eno and now it's been more than 15hrs still my heart is paining as I am writing this 7) not white rice given, then why was dal given? Where you guys expecting to eat that with Biryani rice? 8) even the papad was not at all crispy
In pics the food quantity looks sufficient and roti looks big, but in reality it's not
My personal opinion I will not recommend A2B and will never visit it again
From this outlet usually ordered from swiggy and never disappointed. This time could see tea in flask is also available now and it was worth try.came in perfect packaging keeping the tea hot for around 2 hours. I have not experienced this even in other popular tea places who deliver in flask also the portion was good for price
No proper parking available.made to park over broken gutter which was risky.order was butter roti.woila plain roti.very much confused abt order taken.had to repeat 4 5 times.food was good.so 3 star
Price for savoury and sweets are too high. Small size jhangiri is priced at 600 per Lg which is too high where I can buy same at 150 per kg from other shops in Tamilnadu.
I tried mini tiffin and i really loved it. I also tried rava onion dosa whose taste is a bit subtle and honestly i didn't like the taste of black pepper in it. At last i tried there cofee which is ok for me
Previously visited for Evening snacks of pav bhaji and filter coffee which was great in taste.
Recently gone for south thali lunch and felt not so great.the rice served was not hot and it was so lumpy, Papad was soggy and Sambar was served without any vegetables.
Awesome south Indian food and delicious sweets, particularly Jaipur cake or Ajmeeri kalakand, if you like milk sweets. South Indian filter coffee is a must try!
The best place for break fast in Bangalore. The authentic Chennai sambar along with chutneys makes the idli vada and dosas super tasty. Hot Tiffin's are served here. Pongal is also very tasty. You have to try all their items in the menu. They have a sweet stall attached to this restaurant. The filter coffee is also must try. Most of the times it will be crowded.
Tiffin's were good.fried rice and biryani are not good. Chinese items taste was worst. Better to stick for South Indian items especially Tamilnadu authentic food
Food taste is very good but they need to bring consistency in coffee taste, since it tastes bad sometimes and you might have to depend on luck to get a good one.
Service is very bad. Absolute disaster. Its better to eat in self service section rather in the a/c section.
For first 15 mins nobody came to pick the order. U had to go to the payment counter to ask for a waiter. After that the waiter came and he also did not listen to the order correctly. After painful 20 mins the order came and also part by part. Pathetic.
There were no spoons, u have to beg for it. No tissues. Such a third class service. And while asking for bill also u need to wait for 10 mins and for payment 5 mins.
Such a waste, and unorganized. Only good thing was the food but in parts.
New year resolution not to eat in A2B restaurant ever in a/c section.
Such a bad and horrible experience. Avoid on holidays and celebration days.
The go to place whem you're hungry for food and coffee or perhaps tea. It is a reliable.place which offers you the service and plethora of options to choose from. It's the answer to McDonald's from South India. And they're good at it. The service is prompt, food is fresh, and clean.
The branch in marathahalli is okay, but not upto the level. Place to sit is limited. Food is good. But I liked the A2B at BTM and HSR better than marathahalli.
Amazing south India veg food, ideal for breakfast/dinner/eve snacks. But not up to the mark for north Indian food. Bakery items are very tasty and unique, especially spicy items.
Service much worse than the other a2b's I have visited. At 8: 30 am, there was no one to vend tea/coffee. I had to wait for sometime before someone could agree that it is normal for a person to drink a beverage after their bfast.
This is not a south Indian restaurant, this is a bad case of south Indian restaurant run by a north Indian management. Pathetic service and food is not worth the money. Happened to go here for a quick lunch on the go.south Indian thali had half the things missing. For desert all that was there was sugared milk. For veg pulav, we got fried rice without salt and no sides. Manager refused to return it and forced us to agree that it was in fact pulav and not fried rice. Butter milk had gone bad and the manager refused to cancel it. Finally agreed to exchange it for coffee
Worst place. This is worst restaurant of ananda adyar bhavan. Service is not good. Food taste ia very worst. In washrooms water also not available from taps. They will provide in a bucket. Avoidable
