Adyar Ananda Bhavan Sweets & A2B Veg Restaurant - (BMTC Bus Terminal, Shanti Nagar)

Ordered Mysore masal dosa.but got ordinary masala dosa for the mysore masal dosa cost.

Bought 5 pieces of Rasagulla.enquired whether fresh or not.the service people told it's fresh.but the next morning, rasagulla syrup was spoiled.have to throw it. Wasted money.

There was no service. I burnt my fingers and spilt some of the coffee while taking it from the counter. No plate was offered to carry two tumblers of coffee.

Worrest experience with this Shanti nagar branch, limited items, zero knowledge of servent, I give only only 1 star,

Nothing was available except kesari bath and kara bath. Other branches are good. This branch is not great.
2023: All the items are available. Dosas are good. Tamil cuisine. Mini tiffin has one of everything

Worst service most of the expected eateries are not available, the dose of this hotel dogs also will not have day by day taste becoming worst street side Idli is better than this idli just because of location this people are doing this, other places somehow good

Worst food, only limited breakfast and food, that was also not good in taste, poor service

The non availability of Chapathi and Protta in the evening is not good. The bathrooms need better hygiene

Great location, friendly staff and as usual, mouthwatering food. There are so many things on offer, along with delicious South Indian sweets.

An another A2B, but better, closes or right next to Shanthi Nagar Bus stand, the food is good, the place is clean and tidy, not as crowded, plenty of seats available, and the service was quick, the waiters and servers are friendly too! A good waiting area, can have food and wait here for your bus. Just make sure you order something!

Quantity is very low compare to price.ve meals cost rs130 at shanthi nagar for self service.staff won't even respond if any thing required while having food.

Very nice south Indian food. Taste is pure south Indian. But please check time of hotel as before closure time. South Indian food gets finish

I ordered north indian thali. And it was the WORSTT. NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE. The taste was bad and at Rs. 190 it was NOT even enough for one person. Ony two spoons rice and one spoon sabji was given.

Highly recommended if you are in Shanthi Nagar bus stand.
Clean tables, food is average, but they have good coffee and sweets/ snacks varieties.
They have self-serve and service halls.

Prices are bit on higher side. After the Lockdown their tase and food availability came down. Previously their food was great even if the price was high.

Decent restaurant located at a prime location just next to the Shanti Nagar bus stop. This is the place if you are looking for a pure south indian veg restaurant. The ambiance is ok. It is a sweet shop and restaurant and if you are here for food then you need to know this is self service restaurant. I visited here few days back I was sitting waiting hoping that waiter will cme for order but none turned out I tried calling few and no one cared to respond as well. Then I got to know that it's a self service. And the staff behaviour is also very bad here they will not respond properly.

Good food, not expected taste for the cost. Table Service, Cleanliness and customer service are poor.

Recently went to shanthi Nagar Bus stand a2b in Bangalore with friends. Never been my favourite Chennai or anywhere but frequent Ulsoor branch because of my family wanting TN style sambhar and chutney. Servers not worried about service and chutney and side dishes are given minimally even when asked, charges exorbitant ly. Paid heavily but heart not happy. Attitude needs to change to accommodate kannadigas otherwise a2b will exit fast. Food portions are smaller. Go on own risk.

Few staff seemed to be arrogant but not all.

Very nice. Even though it is located in TTMC, Shanthinagar building, a general public place, the hotel is true to its standard like any of its branches. Food is tasty and surrounding is cleanly maintained.

Poor service. Late and least bothered about customer satisfaction.

Name sake it's fine dining.

Since it's next to shanthi Nagar Bus station, they take people for granted.

They issued a torn note as change and when asked refused to accept its theirs.

The cashier doesn't have common sense to deal with a basic complaint.

Quantity wise I felt they use smaller serving bowls comparing to other a2b outlets.

Avoid unless it is a must. Otherwise I am a fan of A2B chain of restaurants.

Pretty great restaurant that offers nice food at a pretty affordable rate. Not to mention, the food itself is tasty and rich in flavour

More than dining we liked the sweets and savouries. Carrot halwa was best of its kind. Chats are avarage but can improve.

It's a decent restaurant and the perfect stop for people who are looking for a quick bite before catching their buses. I ordered a Ghee Roast and boy, was I amazed. It was delicious and would definitely go there again to try the same dish.

They had Chinese as well, but they don't serve that menu on the ground floor, which was kind of stupid. Other than that, it is a quite an okay-ish restaurant.

I had heard so much about Anand Bhawan that I had it in my bucket list while visiting Bengaluru.
But I was utterly disappointed.
Nothing was right.
We had a variety of dosas, idlies and rice. Compared to other smaller joints in Bengaluru, the food was not of good standard. The sambhar served was cold and not changed even after complaint.
The worst was the filter coffee. It was bitter and nowhere near to what we had at other places in Bengaluru.
I don't know whether other Anand Bhawan in Bengaluru are better.

The name itself says it all. Quality wise it's too good. But it's proximity to the Shanti nagar BMTC is what makes its stand out feature. The real meaning of fly visits can be experienced here. Although the Mysore masala Dosa could be prepared in a much better way rather than a usual masala Dosa.
Coffee is authentic. A must visit place if you are a frequent Traveller by bus to the 'luru!

Salty food. The food quality was very average. Blocked tables with "Reserved" board, I wonder why. I had to occupy 6 chair table for 2 person. Supply staff was busy chatting. Bad experience

I still remember taste of Ananda bhavan sweets when i was in chennai 15years back.but not finding same taste nowadays and sharp decline in costomer service also. As a royal costomer of A2B i want old days to be back in A2B.

I waz a fan of A2B because of clean hygiene and tasty food. But after i visited shanthi nagar bmtc bus station A2B I was changed mind not to visit A2B restaurants in future.

Worst hotel I have seen ever. Hotel looks stunning but the food quality is worst. Ordered masala dosa, it was terrible. They have prepared it 2 hours ago and served it to me it seems.
Also they add lots of water to the juice. I stongly recommend not to go.

Good food service and maintenance.

The choice and quality of food in A2B seldom disappoints me and this time too it was no different. I had the famous Masala dosa and my friend had an Onion Rava Dosa which was equally mouth watering.  

Needless to say that I will be returning to this restaurant again very soon. Cheers!

Food was okay. But the staff behaviour is not at all good. The vada which they served was not fried properly and smelled like a rotten batter. When informed the service person he just casually took it even without apology. This is not a service of A2B and taste, take necessary steps else you will loose your customers.

Just OK food. No AC. Road repair in progress. Hot and Dusty. No fans where we sat on the pretex of ac in the first floor. Ordered one North Indian thali. Just 2 very small pieces of nan were given. Felt that price was exorbitant for quality and quantity served.

Good for food but not worthy because I was order One dosa, and sweet lessi order come my table is usual time but drink water didn't give me and all service people attention to not serve customer.

Having heard about this chain of restaurant, we decided to give it a try.

Easy to navigate. Decent parking.

Now coming to food-
We weren't aware that there are 2 different sections: self-service and other fine dining. We sat at the outermost section which was self service and were told that need to change tables for fine dining. Since, we were with guests, we went to fine dining on the ground floor. Now, we ordered few dishes and meals as well- both North and South Indian. We were informed that North Indian food will be served on upper level only. Again, we changed table and went on upper level. Order was placed and food served. Food quality was decent. Quantity was sufficient- one portion of butter rice can be had by one person only. Luckily we had ordered number of dishes so didn't feel the pain of having ordered less.

Staff didn't take care of customers with meals since they had to wait for a long time for first serving as well as subsequent servings. Felt bit sad for guests here.

Desert was decent.

Issues: Arrogant staff. Table didn't have spoons and forks. Tissue paper were absent. Reluctancy to provide finger bowls.

Good for people who are traveling and want to have quick bite.

Can we suggest people to visit frequently- Definitely not.

Sweets are little bit expensive, both north and south Indian dishes are available. North Indian foods are not available after 3: 15 pm. South Indian thalis are good enough, tasty and at an affordable price. Dosa, Idly, puri are available after 4: 00 pm. One more thing is that variety of food is not that much. Though variety of sweets available. Sweets price range from Rs. 500 per kg to 1500 per kg. Snacks are also available and both sweets and snacks are very tasty.

Awesome tamil veg food in neighborhood. I prefer their tea, south indian snack and meals. Also has collection of fresh and sweet snacks. What I missed last time was their unique bittergourd chips coated with sesame seeds.

Tastes are good but services are below average the client has to wait for the preson to attend after attending if any extar item needed the customer has to wait like an hell
