Agani Peak

Couldn’t find the exact location based on map. View is good but nobody was there when we went so felt little unsafe

Nice small trek near sakleshpur. Will take around 45 min to 1 hour (depends on where you park the vehicle). The view is pretty good and you can see lots of nearby peaks from there

A good place to do off-roading and hiking at the same time. A good off-roader like thar can go all the way up to the base of the hill and from there you can hike. In rainy season it is not advised to do off-roading in that case you can park you car at Karadikallu Homestay. From there it is short hike can be completed back and forth in 2 hrs. Once you reach the base the trail on the right goes to agani, it is not very prominent trail because not many people hike there. The trail is slippery due to loose gravel so go carefully no matter how good are the shoes. The view is phenomenal; on the north west side of the peak you can see Jenukallu peak and Deepadha kallu peak and beyond Ettina bhuja.

Absolutely stunning views. The trek is moderate and takes good 1-1.5 hour from starting point. Google Karadikallu Homestay, park your vehicles there and start your hike.

The trek is real fun, try reaching in the morning half. If you have more time, do visit Manju peak, it takes more trek time but the views from Manju Peak is literally mind blowing.

Manju peak is like 10 kms from starting point i.e Homestay, so on an average it'd take 3-4 hours one way.

Agani Peak is not too far, 1-1.5 hour one way, about 3 kms. But the views are stunning. Visit in the monsoons.

The view of the peak is delightful. Some 25 km away from the Sakleshpur city this peak is just amazing to see. A thrilling feel and an adrenaline rush will occur after seeing this beautiful and superbly green peak.
