Akash homestay

Lovely place! Host was communicative and helpful prior to our stay. Akash and his family were welcoming and very helpful during our stay. For example, arranging a driver to meet us off our bus to Hampi, letting us access our room earlier upon check in, giving us advice on sightseeing and accommodating us before our delayed night train leaving Hampi. The room was of a good quality. Very comfy beds, AC and good shower. 10mins tuk tuk into Hampi costs 150inr.

I had a very pleasant stay at Akash Homestay. When I arrived I looked at a number of different homestays and at Akash I found the best rooms for a good price. But above all, I found a very good host who, together with his family, does everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Recommended!

I stayed at Akash homestay for 2 nights in New Hampi. The room is basic but very clean. Akash was a very welcoming host, warm, attentive and gave very good advice. I had not managed to book any tour to visit Hampi and he recommended a professional and exciting guide based on the sites that it was possible to visit depending on the length of my stay. He was also very available to help me book my train ticket for the rest of my stay. In short, he is a host that I recommend 100% for his hospitality, his sense of service and for his proximity to the inhabitants of the village.

Nice stay. Host is very good and reached out to us voluntarily if we need any help. There are no hotels near by so everyone goes for Homestays only in New Hampi. Tourist spots are accesible by 4 wheeler also so dont go around by words of auto drivers. Only decent restaurant to try food is Hampi Inn.

The homestay is located in new Hampi which is 10 mins drive to old Hampi.the room is simple but clean and spacious, it has everything you need for your stay. Akash and his family are extremely nice and helpful, they cooked dinner for me (only veg option) and Akash helped me to rent a scooter to drive around, he also gave tips and advice where to go in Hampi.if you arrive from Hospet, Akash will also assist you to get a tuk tuk to get to his place for 200Rs.

Akash and his family are very friendly and supportive before during and after our stay at his Homestay. He messaged me several times to make sure we were enjoying and comfortable in our trip.
We arrived at his property by taxi and had no idea how to go to places and visit Hampi. He provided itinerary tips and transportation for our day tour and trip back to Bangalore.
The room was huge and comfortably slept 3 adults. Everything was very clean when we checked in.

Fantastic Homstay. Very nice place to stay, definitely recommended. Room is neat and clean. Hot water 24hrs. Location is perfect, all places are nearby. Akash and his family are very kind. Just Go for it.

Great location and very nice hospitality. A budget stay and at prime location from most of the historical places. The rooms were very nice and clean as well.

The best and value for money with good hospitality by Akash and his family. Very cooperative. No food but all the amenities are perfect for family and group. Sufficient parking and easy to locate.very neat and clean homestay

I would say, GO FOR IT! At first, we weren't sure about a homestay, as this was our first time, but this experience changed it all. (we planned a 2 nights, 3day trip from Hyderabad)
The rooms were amazing, the location was also PERFECT! Just 5 mins away from most of the places (temples, palace, everything).
If you inform them in advance, they can also provide freshly home made food. Overall, I'm giving this 5 stars, and i can say that you will have an amazing experience as well

Akash is a special person - not out there just to make a quick buck - but someone who goes the extra mile to make sure his guests are comfortable. He is open to feedback and indeed welcomes it so that he can constantly improve. More power to him!

Room was very neat and clean. Washroom was clean as well. Hot water and car parking was available as well.
