I miss Joseph Uncle the most. He managed the institute so well for past so many years. He was my first ever friend in Bangalore. He guarded and guided me when I was a newbie at alliance so many years back. Never a day I would miss to bid bye to our beloved Joseph Uncle. It was heart breaking to know that he passed away before Covid. I'd always remember and cherish the times we spent. My favourite teacher is Prajwal Madhav and cannot look for a better teacher than him. I was blessed to have him twice as my teacher, for the level A2.1 and B1.2. He's moved out of India. David sir was one amongst the reputed teachers, I had only once the experience of Learning from him at the library. It's so unexpected to hear his demise too. Library is huge and amazing. But the new staffs working there are quite unprofessional. Frequently missing to attend the continuous calls during the working hours. It is quite unusual when it's compared to those days, when ms Nithya and Ms Komala used to work. They always used to make sure they return to the missed calls. The higher authorities had to put in the effort to appoint someone to just attend calls if others are so busy/should make sure about the responsibility done right. The only reason to have been given 5 stars to this place, is because. This is the place where I grew up into a confident person, polyglot, made friends for life, learnt big lessons, met special ones who'd always be close to my heart. This is the right place and pace to learn French. People we meet here are just amazing! This place gives you perspectives in life. You'd meet from the younger people to elderly people who has so much love for French and getting exposed to a new language. Looking forward to learn more French and become an expert.
Don't get your birth certificates translated from them. This a late post from me but they charge almost 3k for those translations and the French govt doesn't accept them/will not accept them. It happened to all my classmates last year, and they deny that any student faced an issue before. Get it translated when you come to France not in India, and never at Alliance Française.
This place has gone down quite a bit after the pandemic. Previously, it used to be more lively with two cafeterias serving really good snacks and even full meals, continental. Now all that are gone, half the place is empty and somewhat shabby. I sincerely hope this place picks up again.
Very poor customer service. Tried to contact the reception, for online classes, they sent a mail and further no response given at all. Tried calling today as well, again no response.
The best place to learn French in Bangalore, When you learn French here, you are not only learning the language but the French culture also. Most of the professors are excellent. I was planning to do level A1.1 only, due to the support of the professors I finished at level B1!
They have several contact numbers but nobody picks up the calls. I tried several times before getting a call back. Also the receptionist is very irresponsible and does not care a bit to share the right information
UNFRIENDLY FIRST EXPERIENCE Extremely rude staff. I went for registration and they did not have the card machine running. I waited for 10 mins cos the receptionist/cashier was on a call.
The other receptionist was rude and cold. I hope the teachers are better.
I felt one of the waste institute. Even before starting to check about the program I didn't get any response nor proper guidance now the course or fees or anything. Always numbers are out of service and no whatsapp response.
The other day they had a painting exhibition of someone nd had invited Naseeruddin Shah in their institute. The same Naseeruddin shah who then went to anti CAA protest in Bengaluru, who hates India & who doesn’t want hindu minority from other countries to come to India.
One of the best and excellent coaching center for French language adult kids and professional. A1 A2 B1 B2 C1 C2 DELF exam to move a Pari or au Canada.higher studies.
My Experience has just been with getting in touch with anyone there, their phone never works and i went there but it was close and security guard wouldnt let me know about the front desk number so just in case next time i can call before coming. Hopefully teaching there is better.
Alliance Française is a great place to learn French. You also can get information on education in France, basic qualifications for higher studies in France and such! In addition to all this, they also have a very nice good sized auditorium! They have many cultural events there as well as concerts in various genres! They have a website and FB page where they carry all the happening info!
