Amanvana Spa Resort - Luxury Resort In Coorg

The place is excellent for a stay and the property is very well maintained and neat the ambience also is top notch.the staff are very courteous especially Sushma she was very helpful and she made us feel like home. I would highly rate her hospitality skills she knows how to handle the guests.

It's a very good place. The rooms are awesome. The location is good, very close to the Cavery River. We are allowed to explore the river. The food is great, but a bit costly. There are a lot of activities in the resort itself. The resort is in the plain and not on the mountain, so there is no hill view. Madikeri is the main area of Coorg, which is a 40-minute drive from here. But the place is really good. Just go for it if you are visiting Coorg.

I had just been there for buffet lunch on a long weekend and I must say the property is very cute. The bungalow looked cute as well.there is river kaveri around the resort and it's very quiet and can hear the water gush.
The food was tasty and due to the holiday rush there was no al-a-carte.
The buffet was tasty yet minimal. I would probably say they needed appetizers as there were very few. Salad section was nicer. All around expansion of the buffet offerings would be great.
A manager Sushma was wonderful to us and so was Riday.

Good resort to visit with family. The resort is covered with greenery and it is very close to cauvery river. One can spend sometime next to the river.

Room have sofa cum bed to accommodate kids and it has kids activities as well. Every day a kids movie is played near amphitheater.

The resort itself is a tranquil oasis nestled in the midst of nature. The lush green surroundings, the serene atmosphere provide the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The spa treatments were top-notch

We had a candle light dinner at this place, The service and food were good. Had a memorable experience in place

We stayed in Amanvana for 2 nights, we had a great experience with the nature around. Rooms were very cozy and had a good service. Food was not up to mark and a but expensive fir the quantity.

Amazing resort which is river side, has spacious villas with a private garden and pool.
Beautiful swimming pool, poolside restaurant offers great tasty food. Extremely courteous staff, they even arrange candle light dinners at place of your choice like pool side or river side and make your day extremely special.
A great stay.

Fantastic and serene place, with great staff. The rooms were little old fashioned (loved the idea of sunlit toilet style though) but very comfortable. The location was just perfect for a nice weekend vacation.

Excellent property and very courteous staff. Fantastic service. Food was alright, could be much better. Desserts needs attention. As simple as paysam was a miss. We found a rat in our toilet, hotel was quick in responding and changing our room. The house keeping staff did a brilliant job of moving our stuff. The play area is very good. Lots a indoor games and a very good snooker table. The only reason for rating low is the food and the rat we found.

This is a review of the Spa only. We stayed here earlier in 2011 and loved it. But this time around (Dec 2018) came to get a massage at the Spa. Kavya was fantastic. Knew her massages well. Very courteous. Very efficient. Cant say the same about the others (my sister got a massage too). Had time to kill. So ordered drinks and had them at the riverside in the resort itself. Peace and pleasent place with beautiful ambiance surrounded by Nature and BIRD'S, total relaxing place were river CAUVERY flowing adjacent to the resort makes the stay more memorable.

A serene place full of positive aura to find a nice escape from the busy materialistic life.you can feel the peace of mind deeper into the soul at this place in the lap of nature. All the amenities and the hospitality is awesome.its really an amazing time we had there.
Apart from good bungalows natural aura is very much adorable there. The resort have a very nice organic garden laden with fruits and vegetables and several flora and fauna.last but not the least food was also nice.

Brilliant riverside setting in the middle of pretty dense vegetation. Great place for a relaxed meal.

Just to mention that they mention Jacuzzi as their inclusion, but it isn't working! They have Jacuzzi with cold water Jets!

I just visited this property to have lunch after my visits to NISARGADHAMA.

Absolutely amazing property. It’s next door to NISARGADHAMA. It’s plush and it’s beautiful.
The food was quite awesome too.
Next time I go to Coorg I am staying here.

Nice getaway place to have fun weekend/company team building meets. It got pretty good restaurant and nice view of Cauvery river

Me and my wife visited Coorg in the first week of December which, I guess is the best time. It was neither hot nor cold but, a pleasant atmosphere all day.

When it comes to Amanavana, the property has just 19 bungalows that makes it special. It is never too crowded nor empty. A peaceful place to indulge in nature's beauty with delicious food and the sound of the river Cauvery passing by.

Anju, lady from front desk had been cooperative for all our requirements and queries. Mohan, the chef would always be around to ensure that you're enjoying the food. Timiran was always ready for food services anytime we visited the restaurant. Candle light dinner by the river bank and with your favourite music has become a beautiful memory.

Lohit is a wonderful and humble 'Certified Nature Guide'. He introduced us not to the just new trees and birds but, some old Coorg traditions too. It was fabulous to take a nature walk, visiting coffee plantation and bird watching tour with him. He made the Eight Islands Trek fun by guiding us along the way. He has plenty of knowledge about tree types and birds. He also has many interesting stories to tell you from his past experiences.

The last and most important thing, Do Not Miss The Spa Services if you are going there. We had Coorg coffee scrub and it was absolutely magical. Thanks to Suranya and Akhil.

Overall it was an amazing trip to Coorg and we highly recommend a stay at Amanavana Spa and Resort. A Rabbit Hole for the Soul in its true sense.

Amanvana Spa Resort is one of its kind in the Heart of Coorg. Beautiful & well maintained property. They have the best Spa in Coorg. The restaurant has an awesome view next to the swimming pool. Try sipping a coffee in the coffee hut.

An amazing property. The staff here are very humble and dedicated and the resort, the food and the overall experience was great.

Superb destination for any couple/family /friends. Do visit for the river trek and the delightful spa.

Hospitality at its best. Amazing spread of buffet. An amazing ambience surrounded by nature and truly a lovely experience.

I am giving two stars only for the greenery inside the property.otherwise the property is very badly maintained.you can see dampness everywhere, even the main reception lobby roof is leaking, guest room window blinds are dirty and not washed, rooms have musty smell. My wife and son became sick on the first day itself. Restaurant staff is also very careless. No sense of customer service at all. We reported all these issues to the hotel Manager, hope they will act upon it. If you have allergy due to musty smell, A BIG NO to this place.

A great hub to unwind. Peaceful with beautiful surrounding. The resort itself is a perfect combination of natural beauty and modern utilities.

Few things to highlight:
1. Rooms are brilliant. Can't ask for more
2. Very romantic place. Nooks by the river are just dreamy.
3. The staff is very courteous and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make our anniversary special by arranging a beautiful candle light dinner and cake in a private shack at the property.
4. It is perfect weekend destination for couples as well as family
5. Food is great with multi cuisine options. So there is everything for everyone. It is better to take the package the resort offers with all three meals included. It's cost effective.

Very beautiful resort with awesome ambience, a stream of caveri flowing near by, great resturant and a pool

A good place with lots of fauna and Flora. Would have enjoyed more of the temperature was little less. This resort is not exactly in coorg but in kushalnagar. We visited in July to experience the monsoon rain, but the rain was heavy in coorg and very light in kushalnagar.

But overall the stay was good. Very courteous at reception. Clean and good ambience.

Only lacking thing is there is only one restaurant available inside the resort and the buffet menu option is less for non veg.

Beware of frogs:) and incsects. It's fully surrounded by trees so it's expected.
