A family run business serving homemade ice cream since 30 years. The variety of flavours are truly amazing and gives an authentic taste over the store bought ice cream. The kind ladies running the store were a delight to talk to, and understand the story behind the conception of the store. The Manoranjini flavour was something never had before, and the mango was certainly quite brilliant. Definitely recommended.
Amrith Ice creams is a must visit for anyone who loves the natural flavours, preservatives free taste and quality. It is quite affordable for the taste and quality it has to offer. There are a wide variety of options to choose from, their Amrith Special is a must try. It's totally worth the price. However, they don't offer dine-in options and there's no place to sit outside the parlour either. Probably that's the only con. Definitely a Yay!
We tried Black currant and coffee ice cream. Both were really good in taste and flavour. I wi always visit this place whenever possible. I loved the slight bitter taste of coffee ice cream, oh man, it was really good on a hot summer afternoon in Bangalore.
Amrith is a family owned, age old ice cream shop, popular with the residents and numerous students of Malleshwaram.
Ice creams derived from actual fruit for flavouring as opposed synthetic taste enhancers is one of the key selling points here. Home made taste, ethical price points, tasty combinations make it a must try.
Fig o Honey, Rum and Raisin are my personal favorites.
One can enjoy delicious home made ice creams here. Variety of flavours are available. It's simple & Delicious. Old traditional ice cream machines are used to prepare the ice creams powder.
A place to explore different flavors of ice cream from the 90s Or 80s. People who lived around malleshwaram would find it nostalgic, but for the others it would be just an average icecream shop
It's not everyday you get to taste authentic ice creams like these. It's simple & Delicious. We own a ice cream factory with the old equipment just like theirs I'll tell you it's not easy to come up with so many different flavours. It takes a lot of effort & consistence in taste to stand still for these many years. Tried almost every flavour they were great. You may find it expensive for a scoop of homemade ice cream but you need to understand the raw material goes into making ice creams have become really costly. Give yourself a treat with their ice cream if you're in the vicinity.
A must-to-go place to taste the home-made icecreams. A small shop located on 11th cross road, Malleshwaram. I tried Kesar Badam and Manoranjani (made from extract of a flower called Manoranjani). Both the items were too delicious. After tasting a scoop of Manoranjani, I got so much fascinated by it that I immediately bought its family pack alongwith the Kesar Badam. Also, prices are low.
This is an Ice Cream parlour located in Malleashwaram, Bengaluru on 11th cross (near Vidya Mandir School) and offers variety flavours of tasty icecreams at reasonable prices. No sitting provisions.
The hype as per blogs or vlogs is too over rated, as per what I had. I just tried a scoop of pista ice cream with fruit salad (dipped in sugar syrup). Sorry I think I must try few more varieties before increasing the ratings.
Yummy ice cream ever tasted, located in small place offering quality ice cream. Must taste manoranjani, pure Kesar, nuts. Reasonable price. Go for cone instead of cup.
Place brings back a lot of nice memories, it's usually kids from nearby schools who visit here and the same kids grow up, keep coming back, I guess it's nostalgia.
May be not good experience for us! Definitely not best of the ice creams! Just a hype I would say! Tried, Manoranjini 2/5 Triple fantasy 3/5 Fruit salad with ice cream 1/5 very poor Fruits were not fresh! Matka kulfi 2/5
It's not at all good, because of Kripal the food vlogger, I went there to try it out, turned out to be a bad experience, instead of going there, u can go to Corner house icecream parlour, it is much more better than this, the quantity sucks, and even the texture of the icecream is a disastrous thing, wasted time and money recklessly
Summary: - very unique taste and ice cream just melts in your mouth. Made from milk only and fully natural
Went here after seeing b the review on #FoodLoversTV.
Pros: - It's a small non descript shop on the road. Easy to miss the shop. But very famous shop and remains the same since inception. 1) Very unique way of making icecream and very very unique and nice flavour. All natural ingredients and no artificial enhancers. 2) In normal ice creams you get a lot of after taste flavour in the mouth for a long time. This ice cream in very light and has a very good flavour. It just melts in your mouth. 3) I tried roasted almond and Manoranjani. I liked both but I liked Manoranjani more. 4) Plan to try all the flavours over a period of time. Had read that the coffee flavour is very good. 5) Parking - Ease of parking. Lots of parking space on the road. 6) Not very expensive. Each scoop costs Rs 50 and if we can also take Amrith Special. 7) It's all in the family and the entire family runs the outlet.
Cons: - 1) No cons that i can think of. It will be helpful if they open a store in HSR layout. Don't have to travel 17 km for the ice cream.
Discovered this shop from YouTube situated in 11th cross Malleswaram, Surprising ice cream flavours available with quite affordable pricing. Several in-house specials are to be tried as none other competitors can match the same.
Visited this place with high expectations but the place turned out to be very average. They claim that they do not add any artificial flavouring but I felt Manoranjani icecream had some strong artificial favouring added to it.
Heard about this place and the hype around it following a very famous food blogger in youtube. So wanted to check if this place matches to all that hype. Honestly felt the ice cream flavors tasted very artificial. Definitely didn't match up to all that hype around it.could have used natural fruit and smalll chunks of the fruit in the ice cream instead of that weird artificial flavors. Some of the flavors had that weird taste of medicine syrups. Personally liked the Kulfi and kesar pista. Rest of the flavors nothing to rave about especially the manoranjini flavor.
Amazing place to eat ice cream. All natural and home made ice creams. You don’t have to choose anything, pick anything it’ll be tasty. I am coming here from school days. A very old ice cream parlour. Everything is fresh and tasty here. They used to give milk candies in a cover. We used to call it “lolly”. They stopped giving it. It was the best. I don’t know why you guys stopped. The owner here is very humble. A must try for all the people.
An iconic ice cream parlour in Bangalore. One that I have frequented since childhood and one that hasn't lost its originality and quality over the years.
It is the only parlour in Bangalore where they provide homemade ice cream. Worth visiting. And it is also located in area where there is no parking problem.
Not worth coming from so far, just to eat this icecream and it's costly even for one scoop50rps and taste was okiesh, yes can say home based that you yourself can make, by keeping badam milk in freezer and that becomes kulfi.
Drive was long to reach the store. It wasn't that much worth of drive. If people are nearby Malleswaram yeas definitely should tey it out. Most interesting part is the taste which is really good. But the concerning part was that the owner always behind.he was thinking as if we will run away without paying. Otherwise good shop with hygiene products and really great taste
One of the worst ice creams eaten. Visited the place on recommendation of Kripal Amanna. We tasted manoranjani and kesar pista. Both tasted like tonics which clearly indicated that some sort of syrup was added. The taste was so medicine like, we had hard time finishing the scoop.
Also, both these flavours were not home made. They took the scoop out from a box which was wrapped by the store people with brown covering having the name of the flavour.
One of the most overrated places I've been to, the place was hyped by a renowned youtuber and the youtuber praised it to much that I visited the place, the prices are too high and the taste is below average, please do avoid this place.
I had to try this icecream parlour, as the reviews and the sudden hype of this place led me to it. However after trying most of the single scoop ice-creams, I came to the decision that. Yes this place has been running for quite some time and they use the old method of preparation, but since I was looking for the flavour and the texture of the icecream, I found it lacking and found it to be more on the sweetest side rater than the flavour and texture. But the place is run by very humble people and down to earth family. Namaste to them.
Visited here after recommendations. Tried the biggest “Amrith Special “, which consists of 3 to 4 flavours. The Ice-creams are flavourful, which are blended through hand machines. You can feel that the flavours are natural, that melts in your mouth soulfully. The Sugar Toppings brings the crunch in your mouth, along with the natural flavour. It’s a must try, as it differs from others. Will try other ice creams lately.
A small and pretty old establishment, Amrith icecream is a nostalgia for Malleswaram folks. The outlet doesn't have any seating space or reserved parking area. Best suited for to go experience, the place serves in house made icecream for a reasonable price. The ice cream tastes like one of those home made ones, light not too sweet and preserving natural flavors. Apricot, honey and fig, Mango icecreams are some of the must try here.
One of the best own and home made ice cream you can go for. Especially in the evening, under the canopy To be a true malleshwaram by heart, put those ice cream into your belly
This icecream shop is opened in the year in 1993 in Malleshwaram, it sells the best icecreams in the town, their special is the fruit salad with icecream, pocket friendly prices, easily accessible, but they don't accept any card payments or digital payments, it's only cash and carry Highly recommended
Must have home made ice creams - Forget the attitude of the owner for a moment and just taste the home made ice creams. The taste / quality beats the MNC brands.believe me, you'll love them
This is a small place located in Malleshwaram which makes their own fresh ice cream i.e. They are homemade. They don’t have a proper seating - just a couple of chairs. The quality of ice cream is pretty good. I tried fresh fruit salad with ice cream. It cost me 65 bucks. I would say the prices are very reasonable and pocket friendly. The ice cream tasted awesome with the fruit salad. The combo was really good. One should really try this place for some fresh pocket friendly homemade ice cream.
AMRITH ICECREAM one of the exotic icecream off my childhood days! The ice creams over here are home made! The fruits in the fruitsalad with icecream are also fresh! There 40 - 50 variants of ice creams! Don’t remember all the flavours though!
Gem of a place I have been visiting for atleast 25 years. Now I visit with my children. A hidden treasure in Malleswaram that comes as a surprise to many who newly discover this place. Delicious home made ice creams for such reasonable prices. Cash only. Clean and hygienic. Flavours are uncomplicated and tasty, unlike commercial brands. A visit to Malleswaram means a visit to Amrith Ice Creams for me.
Small outlet for homely Ice creams / fruit salads. Simple, tasty and most reasonably priced. At best, it is a take-away joint. They have provided just 2 chairs. Parking is on the roadside - 40 ft road.
The best place for home made ice creams. The prices are reasonable. It is a tiny little shop on one of the quiet roads of Malleswaram. They have boxes if ice creams for take away and you can also have cone or cup ice cream at the location. The hot chocolate fudge is amazing and unique as they make their own chocolate sauce and it has a different but amazing taste to it.
