Andhra Bank

Andhra Bank which is now Union Bank, at least the one in hrbr layout doesn't deserve even one star rating. The staffs are careless in their work and dont deserve the job they are doing. I have plenty of incidents that need to be mentioned but let me mention just a few. Since I know about their pathetic system and service, I had adviced my parents to move their account to a different bank. But it's not done yet. We will do it. Despite mentioning to my parents not to use their atm machine they still did, and that's their fault. The atm machine doesn't dispense cash but amount gets deducted from your account. And to get your bank balance sorted you will be expected to visit the bank many times. The staffs don't help you even if you are a senior citizens. And we are talking about an inconvenience caused due to the bank's fault! This happened multiple times. I must blame my parents for not changing bank.
Today, the staff hands over my mother's passbook to some other customer. And it's lost. They say sorry and give another passbook (made to wait). Do they even realise the kind of inconvenience they cause to senior citizens? Forget other customers!

The service can be a bit slow at times but once you've a good rapport with the staffs and after a couple of visits, they're very helpful and assist in all needs.
The attached ATM/cash deposit machine/pass book printer machine are totally unreliable!
Every 2nd visit it's INOP.
