Andhra Ruchulu, Mysuru

We originally wanted to dine at the Gufha restaurant which is on the 1st floor of the same building but were suggested this by the staff as the former was over booked for the night. We were told that the food would be the same but that wasn’t the case. The paneer tikka was decent but the dal makhani was an utter disappointment. It was far from the quintessential North Indian delicacy. Even the masala papad was dismal which is usually hard to not get right. The mix veg was at max okayish for the price that they’re charging at. Overall, a very average restaurant, food wise. The staff however was very efficient.

The restaurant desperately needs a renovation. It smells of dust n mould. The chair cushions stink of moist dirt.

Worst service if you try to call them they avoid you the ambiance is okay but because of late and lazy service it feels exhausting to wait

Good ambience. Overpriced items. Service is OK. Try only if you're looking for good ambience and to pass some time.

Ac vent was leaking water on heads, ladies washroom tap had no water, pathetic meal tat was not worth the cost, only staffs act & Pai Vista building looks good. Please go to any other restaurant.

Average taste but too much cost,
We can appreciate for the efforts taken for arranging the forest theme.we had veg meals and chilli chicken, meals are ok but chilli chicken not so good.children may like the theme and enjoy.

Well decorated restaurant couple can enjoy but food is worst taste. Waste of money. Today we had dinner we ordered all time fvt starter not even single dish was taste.we found in that only color and flavour and too much oil.chicken fried rice we found only. Curd rice frozen they served.

Worst food. We five went to this hotel and all five had stomach upset. Not a hygiene food for sure. I do not recommend. You just want to go there to love the ambience. One more, which i really want to stress about. We ordered some tandoori prawns, 7 pieces. Which is around 450rs. Hence Ideally, if i calculate 1 prawn = 64rs? Seriously? Too expensive. Anyways, end of the day quality of food matter. Which is the big issue over here.
It used to be good when it was known as Pai Vista with best buffet offers.but i do not recommend now.

As visited on Weekend evening it's was crowded and having a waiting list to dine-in.
Food was good but service need to be improved.

Ambience is good and few foods are not so great when you go with an high level expectations.
Mutton Hyderabad biryani and guntur chicken, andra chilly chicken are the items to watch out for!

Recently my friend ordered chicken biryani from here and found COCKROACH in his biryani. The hygiene is really a question in this place. After I read the other comments I was sure of it. Go to this place at your own risk.

Good food, but personally I didn't enjoyed the ambience. I have tried their Gufa restaurant which is very similar. Dark and Claustrophobic.

We found fungus/dust below the curd served with Andhra style meals. Got to know when it was poured completely on rice. Hygiene is a big question that too during this pandemic.

Went for a lunch date. I'm in love with the Andhra meals! Spicy and great taste! Service is good. Extra points for ambience!

Food is tasty but cost is very high. Bill includes service tax which should not be there after SGST and CGST components are implemented. My bill was 1863 out of which around 200 is for these tax components.

Loved the food. Deeply disappointed with people giving low ratings. Veg hakka noodles is the best! My uncle loved it️. One of the best themed restaurant with an aesthetic ambience. Best hospitality and yummy food!

The place needs a major reboot, the furniture looks very old and cushion needs to be cleansed, food taste was average, the staff are very cordial good and polite

They have one of the best ambiances in Mysore. Especially during the lunch time it's difficult to get a seat or chair. The food is prepared in Andhra style. Especially go for their biryanis they are ultimate in taste. In case going on a weekend it's good to first book a table. Seating is generally always full as people keep coming. Parking is easily available behind and for bikes in the basement. The restaurant is not on the ground floor but a lift is available to go. Food and services are really good with very courteous staff and good services. Would recommend to go as a family or group.

Sholay chicken tasted of fish oil.
Pepper chicken was good.

Service quality as well as quality of food was substandard. Basic cleanliness not maintained. Being centrally located and rush of customers staff is least bothered. I strongly recommend other restaurant options

Great Andhra style vegetables and non veg food available. Nice comfortable seating within unique jungle-themed ambience. Must-visit if you are passing by Mysore.

People from Bangalore driving to South destinations for a vacation must drop by to get a taste.

This time the experience was bad. Left the mutton pepper dish (annoyingly bad taste) and gongura chick (which has no flavour of gongura at all) on the table. Of all that we tried, Thaali is the only good item on the menu. Kindly work on it, otherwise your 45 years reputations would be of no use to the public nor it satisfy someone.

- Food: Veg biryani, mushroom manchurian, Both very quite well made and had a unique flavour. Went well with my Heineken beer
- Service: Well behaved staff, They served food as well as gave hot water and lemon finger bowl at the end

Could be better:
- The ambience could have been better

I appreciate your reply to my review Mr Manager, but the content of your response shows a sense of arrogance, as in, not willing to take the review but trying to defend yourself with a statement, "we haven't changed the chef". That leaves no room for the quality improvement and i am sad to see that coming from general manager.

Do you know that you and I have no rivalry nor relationship, such that i'd rate your hotel low. It is purely coz of the lack of essence and taste that you once had in the items you served. But sadly Mr Manager, you have not understood that and instead claiming to be well reputed.

Authentic Andhra food! Must try the veg meal it's just mind boggling! Great place for people who prefer spicy food! Great service and good staff! Ambience is plus with the food!

We had been here for lunch on a weekday, and ordered meals and mutton starter. The starter was tasty. The meals was decent - nothing major to complain, but not great either.
The dal and sambar tasted average. For the price, I felt the taste could have been better.
The hotel has ample parking, and the jungle theme is cute.

Not exactly meets our expectations. Still the taste is good.we had guntur chicken and briyani. Andhra food is famous for spicy and the food served was less spicy.still u can enjoy the food and ambience.
Their service was good.
