Decent collection Staffs are friendly Price is on higher side Parking available but limited. I generally don't like the prize range based collection. Because the moment I said my budget is 10k everything shown to me was 9k+
I got the best saree from Angadi, exactly what I have searched for. I have reached there just 20 min before closing, even though they treated me well with patience. They have huge collection of saries varies from soft cotton, Linen, cotton silk, printed cotton, silk, Kanchipuram pattu. The sales man in second floor, I don't konw his name, he is from Thanjavur, I don't know to express about his service, he never hesitated to show me the collections. People like him is really a boon for the industry. Thank you Angadi Silks.
Thla place has got a good range of sarees but feel they are over priced. We did a purchase of Rs 32 k and they were haggling over giving of the boxes for the sarees. Finally they gave 5 boxes without any covering paper inside. Pretty petty and stingy mindset. The sales woman was courteous but the two cashiers seemed so uninterested. Sad to see standards at this shop quite poor.
Placed an order with them for a kurta and jacket combo for our family member after the salesperson said that the material and availability for it was confirmed! 1 day after taking FULL advance they call up and say - Oh, we promised only 99% that you will get it (while taking FULL money against that order) Total cheats & FRAUDS of highest order! Avoid!
In continuation to my earlier complaint, would like to recommand everyone not to visit this shop because it is very expensive, dies not have any moral ethics to sell tge product as per clients wish, they have goal to sell anything what they want to sell, they dont mind to go to any extend to sell the pproduct
Need sarees above ₹8000, visit angadi silks they have lot of options, but below that is a big No.i bought for my family members here, everyone are happy.
Pathetic service. No manners and most of all, the employees lack serious skills in managing their customers. It's a place where you will be looked down as a customer. The class hierarchy is clearly visible. The employees don't even look at you unless you are there to buy sarees above 15 k or so. They isolate you and make you feel like trash. The sarees are just sub-standard. Most of them have outdated colours and patterns. What they claim is not what the sarees feel like too. Silk doesn't even feel like it. Could not be original as they claim it to be. In any case, will not be visiting this place ever again.
What I came to see was that when u ask a particular price range for eg 5k they show u all the bad ones and when we ask show us little better ones they show around 10 to 15k ones and we end up buying those.idk if it's marketing tactics or what
Sarees are good design wise. When people are paying quite a lot for Kanjeevaram sarees, they expect better and fine finishing and quality. There were loose threads which should have been removed by the showroom on purchase.
I would say a very fine collection of pure silk sarees are available here with nice contemporary and ethnic design a bride would really appreciate and would not want to miss this collection if she would want to look ravishing on her wedding.
Experience in their “House of Angadi” branch was terrible. The lady who was showing me sarees had no patience. She did not understand what my requirements were and just showed me all their high end products when I told her multiple times that I was looking for something around Rs. 25000. She started losing patience with me when I didn’t select from her high end products. Another sales woman helped pacify the situation later. Not visiting again.
It is very big and organised according to the price, hence it is easy to shop here, collection is good. You get Sadi starting from 1k also, they have enough good collections of this range as well. Staff is friendly. Overall it was a nice experience shopping here.
Worst hospitality by the store manager as well as the staff. Only staff member name 'raghvendra' something was really humble so bought the saree. Visited twice and found it difficult to buy for staff behaviour and unnecessarily high cost.
Ok ish place to buy Saree. If your budget is more than 5000, then this place has varieties however don’t have variety for lower budget. Staff is not friendly and don’t even offer coffee or water
Worst experience ever! We went for wedding shopping and were going to buy atleast 10 sarees. We purchased a few and wanted to go for a tea break before continuing. The store guy didn't let me park for the 10 mins we were going out and forced me to remove my car. Worst customer service ever. Don't visit this place. And the store should realise it's not their private parking rather it is public parking on the road!
Moreover the lighting is so bad that you can't differentiate pink from orange. Poor collection and the store looks so dull. We ended up going to Varamahalaxmi silks nearby and purchasing everything.
Awesome collections n friendly staff. Had visited this outlet after the recommendations from most of my friends. I am really a tough customer to be satisfied. But this one shop has all stuff n shopped to my heart's content. Especially the staff. Girija, helped me a lot. She was patient even tho my demands were increasing.
Great selection and helpful staff but owners seem rude and with an air of indifference to customers saying hello to them. Not a place we would visit again considering great saree shops who are happy and pleasant to customers. Please improve your service attitude.
The “touchless” payment offered through QR code is a joke. After you transfer the amount via UPI and they get confirmation in their number, the guy at the billing counter is not happy, unless he takes possession of your phone and then takes a photo of your transaction screen. All your efforts to just show the transaction success without really handing it over to that guy will not succeed!
Really wondering why they have kept the QR code prominently displayed, as if to promote cashless transactions, when they will go to any end to handle your device!
One of the few times where i wish, i could give -5 star rating.
Please don't go here, they will over charge you, not show you what you like, act like you asked for the staff's kidney instead of a saree. Please don't spend your hard earned money here, cuz you will go home un-satisfied.
The customer service is horrible, the ladies just gossip around and talk behind your back thinking that you won't understand their native tongue and for some weird reason, they were rushing us to select sarees that we didn't even like because they were approaching closing time. It was 5.30 pm and they close at 8. Like seriously?
To the owner of this store: if you're reading this. Please fix your business else you're going to lose your customers just like your dropping standards.
We visited the store in Jan end, to buy my bridal saree. We had heard a lot about the store, and we were expecting a variety of options to choose from. But they had very limited options in the bridal section, and the sales person who was showing us the sarees got quite irritated after a while because we did not like any of the sarees that were shown to us. For all the hype that this store has, it does not live upto it's name. Sales people should have patience to deal with the customer and understand the customer's vision and provide a selection of sarees for them to choose from, rather than have an attitude of "Everyone finds their dream saree from our store, why aren't you liking anything". We walked out of the store and found the saree for me elsewhere. I would say it's a 50-50 deal, customer service can be improved a lot.
Highly NOT recommended. They sell damaged sarees. Worst experience. Bought a Mysore crepe saree 6 months back. Due to the pandemic did not use the saree. I hadn't even removed the tag. Took to the boutique yesterday and found damage on the border. Went to the showroom for exchange today. The store manager, Mr. Prasad was very rude. No respect for customer. He spoke as if we had damaged the saree. The fault was on their end. Such a big showroom have damaged sarees and do not even accept their fault n blame the customer. Very disappointed.
Here You Go: Pros: Easily accessible (next to main road) Nice Ambience Attentive staff Range of varieties to choose
Cons: Parking Space Checkout/billing can be time consuming Prices can be high
It was Sunday evening and I was happy to see decent crowd inside the store, it was not a huge gathering or rush around. The staff was quite attentive and considerate. The billing section was compact so its hard to maintain social distancing. I visited the cotton section and there were multiple variations to choose from. Overall the visit was quite fruitful. We purchased what we wished for and it was a good experience.
This place a nice collection of sarees be it for daily wear or festivals and functions. There is sanitization and temperature checks before entering the store.
Variety of Saree's. Staff take lots of pain and listening to the requirements of each client. Give a reasonable price and saree's to suit each budget. Recommend for wedding purchase
A good shop for all kinds of Sarees. The uniqness of this shop is that they will have different varieties but in less numbers. Quality is assured. Cost varies depending on the Sarees we purchase. The staffs are all very humble here. I'm a regular customer for more than 10yrs. The shop is three floor built. With different kinds of Saree stuffs. Have a enjoyable shopping.
It is located close to other saree shops in Jayanagar. With the metro construction on this road, parking can be tough. Has good collection for wedding sarees, good quality. Taking that into consideration, still believe the prices are expensive compared to peers in close vicinity. I would suggest browsing here for special occasions.
Salesmen are always in hurry, dont put in efforts to show variety, just after showing 5 to 6 sarees they'll expect you to select one.although collection is good.
Not a great collection. But you get good collection if u spend lot of time. Usually crowded and need to wait until someone come and show you their collections.
Very good collection of sarees right from bhandhni silk, Kanjeevaram, Dharmavaram, Banaras silk and many more silks. Designer sarees aint available. The quality is good but tad bit expensive. Discounts could have been little better though. Plus the place is very far in JP nagar.
Nice collection at all price points. Staff are cooperative. Kindly reserve 2hours at least to complete your purchase as the variety in terms of products, quality and price is vast and you may get tempted/confused
Collection is good. But the staff is disappointing since they have an odd reason to not allow people carry large ladies handbag! So basically you have to take out your purse-cell phone and then enter! Very much illogical
Too pricey to give it a positive review. Of course the collections are good but such high margins will leave a heavy heart. The shop caters only to affluent class not even the upper middle class. The commercial street silk stores (Prasiddhi Silks for example) are better and the age old ones in Chennai like Kumaran and Nalli are outright wow and definitely reasonable.
