Angana The Courtyard

We spent our New Year eve in Aangana. The place is very much within the city limits but yet tucked away from all the hustle bustle of the city chaos. The decor both indoor as well as outdoor is suited to its name with all artifacts carefully designed to give that ethnic look to the property. The staff is very cooperative and customer oriented. The food was fantastic. All in all, a great stay enjoyed thoroughly amidst lush greenery and serene environment.

Great food and a peaceful ambience.good for a small family function more than say a family outing unless you just want to laze around with your family and not do much.the only niggling thing was the ongoing renovation.hopefully will be done sooner than later

The service by the staff is very good. Especially Shambhu who tried his best despite such bad weather to make our stay comfortable. The food was finger licking good.

The approach road to the main entrance, I think the resort should fix. It was so very slushy! Also given it's 3 star they need to add some shampoo/ conditioner travel pack and change the v depressing looking curtains inside the room.

The venue is unique as it built using a different sort of stone and also with unfamiliar plantations

This venue is also available for a leisure time or a picnic

We had been here for pre-wedding shoot.
Location is very beautiful with different types of elements. Well maintained.
Lady co-ordinating for booking was also very sweet.
Lunch was good.

Breakfast was very bad.
The staff member present at the location was very rude

The place is very well maintained. Large gardens that are well curated. The bungalow is constructed and maintained in the old style that throws off a very heritage feel to the whole place. Overall its a nice place for friends and family to gather and spend the weekend or an outing.

Had been here for my friend's marriage.
Definitely not exaggerating but this place looked like a mini place with lighting on at every corner.
Decent place for a weeding and a half day outing without any other event. Will visit again for sure

It is an absolutely no nonsense place.if you are looking for relaxed laid back place to spend your weekend this will be a good choice.home like place with home like food.though the varieties served in buffet is limited it tasted really good.service is great.staff are around to help you.well maintained property neat and clean.children will enjoy this place too.

Very peaceful place. Swimming pool has to be cleaned regularly. Their other resort, Bevu has very good maintenance of the pool. Here it is not great

I stayed from 11 to 12 sep 2021 at angana. The courtyard, the artifacts, the lush greenery was amazing. For the first time I took my six month old my grand daughter, it was very safe and above all the serenity n the hospitality of the staff were very humble. Recolected many of my childhood days looking at the brass, bronze n wooden artefacts which my parents n grand parents used during my childhood days. We had the opportunity to speak to the owners of the yard. They spoke to us as if they knew us for long. I suggest this place for a happy family safe gathering.

Amazing staycation on Kanakapura road. Very well maintained property. Reconstructed without losing the charm of ancestral home. Lot of greenery around the place and courteous staff.

The beauty of this concept will only be felt, if visited.
So happy to see and play few excellent mind games, which are unkniwn to this digital generation.

Good to go in groups. Well maintained resort with good food. Resort is tastefully done up with antique objects everywhere.
Closer to Bangalore and needs less travel if you want short getaways.

We made a 2 night halt here enroute to Pondicherry as we drove in from Goa.

The restaurant tastefully done serving delicious freshly prepared meals.

Loved the cozy courtyard bedrooms and the furnishings too.

The simple lifestyle maintained here brings a nostalgic feeling to the stay! The food was homely. No AC or TV. Relaxing time! The only change they could do was to use some good matress becos after a couple of days stay we won't want to return with a backache!

The property is good food is average. The attitude of the front desk & restaurant people is really bad. Don’t expect early checkin or late check out.

Very nice getaway close to the city. The days (especially on the weekend) can get crowded with day trippers, and most people don’t get to experience the beautifully furnished rooms.the evenings and nights are very quiet if one is staying the night. Food is generic resort buffet, but well prepared and fresh.

Unique place, this brings back the memories of granny's place. Located 60kms away from Bangalore. Our company leadership training was held here for two days, it was an amazing experience. Training room was too good, felt like we are sitting in some king's darbar. You LL get to see lots of vintage collections.food was awesome, south Karnataka style.clean rooms, friendly staffs, very peaceful.two people can stay in one room, if you want you can ask for extra bed so that three people can stay.alcohol is not available but you can bring it from outside.

We arranged a reunion day outing in Angana. The facility is neatly maintained. The hospitality is very good. Food quality is also good.

After 19 years we all engineering friends had get together in this resort. We were 30 people. There are lush green lawn was maintained and we all could sit in one of the area and enjoy our discussion.

There is one small beautifully planned swimming pool. Table tennis, Carrom like indoor games are available. Shared basketball/badminton court is available. Since it is shared court only one game can be played.

There are not many recreational facilities available, if there are many individual families then probably then it would be difficult to get all families occupied.

If you reach there as bigger team then there is enough space available to sit and enjoy.

Food buffet was served. In buffet there were no too many or not too less items. Food was good and our team did enjoy the food very much.

A sprawling resort in the outskirts of Bangalore. Good for small groups or small families. Food is good and the property is maintained very well. The staff is well groomed. Ideal for day or two

No doubt the place is good, Run by a worthless manager! I think his name is subramanyam, has a tamil accent, he was rude, we gave him twice as much & shut him up, the point is you wouldnt want to start off your vacation on a bad note, would you? Better avioded.

Badly organised. This was a pre planned Birthday party with pre defined set of guests. And they kept running out of plates! Pathetic! Idiotic staff were clueless as to how to manage guests and food!

It a beautiful place on kanakapura road for a day family outing.
The best part is the way its designed it has a beautiful home with a courtyard. Which is rare to see in city.

Serene and peaceful getaway from the city with crazy traffic and pollution. A kid friendly place where they have a swimming pool designed like a huge rustic well, a play area with swing and see saw that kids enjoy. The dining area is away from the rooms amidst the greenery so that the guests feel relaxed even during their meals. The place has a clock tower nearby to give the guests a view of the landscape near the resort and fall in love with the experience.

Very small resort. Good only if you are amongst a big group. Not much activitirs. However, good greenery cover across the resort
