Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant

Had tried Moru Moru Gobi65, Veg Kothu, Egg Kothu Parota and Elaneer Payasam. The taste is good.

Waiting time is a little longer as they will prepare once you order.

Had Mutton biryani (looks like frozen biyani reheated) the taste was ok, Chicken Kebab was good. Service was good.

I ordered food through Zomato crab pepper masala. Which restaurant delivered very old and poor quality after that I escalate this issue to the restaurant person he is not accepting his fault and casually he is telling I can't do anything it's curry leaves more. It full of waste I dumbed to garbage

The worst service and the bad natti chicken curry I had in years, they offered a replacement fry which I had to decline as that is not what I have asked for.
Will not visit again

Worst hotel I have visited in bangalore they are cheating customers food items are costly but quantity of food is less it doesn't even deserve 1 star they are money minded people

I think they running this restaurant for time pass. Worst service & below average food, I hope they will very soon close the restaurant if they operate this way. Pls stay away from this restaurant.

Hate this place, poor service, an exorbitant price for seasonal fish. Poor quality of food. Left in disgust mid-meal. Never step there again.

Except for the Kerala Parotta, rest of the food we ordered was bad which was topped by sloppy and slow service. Everything had to be told twice. The first place I have seen that can make chappati so bad that you can eat beyond one.

Biryani was dry and not hot, the mutton pieces were hard, this is not the Anjappar i used to know. Freaking expensive to end up with.maybe the lack of business due to Corona is showing up i guess. The prawns masala which we ordered was nice.overall an OK experience.

Did not have a single cool drink to offer on a hot february afternoon despite having listed several drinks and ice creams on their menu. Their branch in Brigade Road offers much better service.

Worst restraunt, ordered 1 mushroom 65 got 7 small pieces and price 228. I have never seen a restrainunt charge so hefty. Wost experience

Ordered nonveg meals where most of the items were missing.

Very bad customer service. Plates in the adjacent tables were not cleared for more than 45 mins. Too many flies and unhygienic surroundings

Quality of the meal has dropped.we were very regular.but this time went after 2 months or so.the veg meal was very average, taste not as before. The non veg meal was ok, but I had to ask for the chicken gravy etc and only then was served. By 1.15 pm there was no sweet. I did tell the person at the counter my experience today.quite disappointing.hope things get better

Your mutton soup looks and tastes like bad curry.if they managed to screw up mutton soup then imagine how their rest of their menu would taste. Skip this place.

Actually taste was good and service is too slow, after order also we need to wait for more time, and I ordered egg biriyani but in that I got bone pieces little disappointed

I had been to this restaurant today. Worst service and I had to go to another restaurant as they told the ordered item is not there after 30 mts. It is not because they delayed, they should have told upfront they can't take the orders. They made people to wait and many were shouting at them. As the service is going down past year month, I am bringing down the rating. This rating is just because of the location.

Consider my 1star as 0*.

I have 2 spent two hours in the restaurant and on my observation, have seen lots of people had fight for long waiting, but the online orders seems to fulfilled faster.

Sad food, this is the second time its happening. Took briyani nd the rice was so dry felt it was atleast a day old. Friendly staff, but whts the point if food is bad. Can you believe v ordered non veg meals nd white rice was not served, thy came back saying it was over.please close this restaurant. I'm going to write to food safety department recommending the closure of this restaurant, its not hygiene nd clean.it was our mistake to step in going by the brand name.the food is also too expensive.

Amazing food and great service. The kuthu paratha was magnificent and the mutton biriyani was great. It was amazing how tender the mutton was! All the best Anjappar! Keep up the good work!

It was my parents 40th Anniversary & it was really a wrong choice to pick this place to dine. They Completely ruined the happiness we entered the place with.

Pathetic after the lock down. Be it service or food. Neither of them were good. We decided to go there, only for the sake of Crab. Called them priorly a day before to check if they served Crab, as my Dad wanted to have & also about the dining service. We were told everything was back to normal & they were open for dining from quite a few weeks.
It was really saddening, coz it was exactly the opposite what we experienced. Hardly any staff. Tables weren't been cleaned after the customers left. Nobody to take orders. Even the ordered food took more than 40 mins to reach. We literally had to fight to even jus get their attention.

Food. We ordered Fish fry which is 350/- per piece. Trust me it's not worth paying so much at all. Absolutely no taste. Horrible it was.
Crab Masala hardly had anything we could binge on. Looked more like some broken pieces of shells
We asked for Chicken gravy & he suggested Chicken Chettinad which shall come with 5 pieces and gravy. But what we were given, a dry roast of 3 pieces of chicken.
We ordered Chicken Kabab, but got Chicken Manchurian with gravy after half the rice was over.
Biryani Rice was served even before Parotta, which we had ordered.

Nothing! There was jus nothing to feel even OK about. If they are facing a crunch in the staff, they should take sometime & then come back on business with everything in place.
I've paid 3K for this pathetic food. It's my hard earned money, they're can't have this kind of disgusting service & charge that exuberant price.

All were as in very hungry after waiting for so long to jus place order, so dint want to leave the place either. We jus had food & left disappointed.

It lost its charm and taste. It used to be one of my family favorite restaurant. Staffs are not even aware what a available. Had a very worst experience as the served food was not cooked properly. After the complaint, they just kept inside for for sometime and again served without cooking again. Worst part was, the they served poiled Kurma. Kids also eat, when they asked, they don't even bothered. They just changed. Overall worst than road side restaurants. But the price is very high beyond your imagination for the type of food quality.

Really I cant believe.once this was one of the very good restaurant.however it has lost its charm and quality over time.not really recommended.

We have bad experience with this hotel with the staff, they don't know how to receive the customers first and also don't know how to talk with customers

I'm having food in anjappar for the past 15 years but this restaurant requires some improvement in ambiance and taste.

Worst food, they served rice after dipping in hot water, when asked for a hot rice! Their charges will give you heart attack.

No taste at all.total waste of money.most of the items were not available from the menu.and what was available no taste at all.highly disappointed.
