Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant Koramangala

To celebrate my daughter's birthday, I visited the Koramangala branch for dinner with my family. However, the food was the worst I've ever had. We ordered Anjal fish, which was overly hard and bad smell, almost like dry fish. We complained, and it was taken back. I strongly advise against not visiting the Anjapper Koramangala branch.

On of the worst place, No taste in food and quality, We went to Eat biryani but they kept us waiting for long time and served Cold biryani.
Anjapaar is one of the oldest brand.
But here it is worst.

Good place to go with family & friends.
They serve food on banana leaves. Food quality better than avg. Cost also reasonable.
Ambience also good.
On d first floor. Location also very easy to find.
Overall verdict: Dont go for a date here, but may go with a family

Taste of food was bad compared to Churchstreet and Marthahalli branches.chicken biryani was a let down.

Kind of ok.but the food is over priced.u get authentic tamil food but the good quality and taste can be far better to the price which u pay.if u love spicy food give it a try

I liked the Chettinad biryani and they gave complimentary crab gravy. My first time for crab.not bad.tandoori was good too

People liking spicy dishes.you are at right place. They are specialized in Chettinad dishes. I like the jeera samba rice chicken biryani, mutton sukka which is there classic dish is awesome. Food served in plantain leaf enhances the flavour of the dish which I liked. You can find rare dishes in the menu like Turkey roast, rabbit roast, quail, head mutton, mutton brain roast etc.

Vert nice and good ambiace hotel. Parking also available. Neat and well maintained. Food was too good. One who looking for South Tamilnadu style food in Banglore this is the right place. Gravies are very spicy and briyani and meals, sidedishes are too good. Pls go on time otherwise meals will finished then u get food delay and dry chapatis.

(Take away) This time the experience was let down. Probably because of the chef's were new, post Covid world they have to pull up thr socks to deliver more than 100%. It's high time they realise this, the people are kind however we were let down because of the taste. Hope they start delivering how they use to prepare and serve delicious food as they were doing pre Covid times. All the best

Went couple of weeks ago for lunch. Serving not quick, delayed and last minute, informed that biriyani got over which is very bad. Otherwise, taste is as usual good as known.

Food is very delicious.we ordered paneer tikka masala and Butter naan. Paneer was so mixed with masala and giving such wonderful taste to tongue. Really the naan was so soft and melting in mouth.

Taste wise it's very good. But poor service. They won't even provide hot water or atleast normal water. Ordered Anjappar non veg meals and found items mentioned in the menu card are not served, few items were missing. Better to ask twice before you order.very poor service.

My review is for takeaway. The food was packed well. This place serves authentic chettinad dishes. Mutton biriyani (seeragasambha rice) is a must try dish here. Special chicken roast tasted too good. Spicy level was perfect. Other chicken dishes tasted good. Price is exorbitant, management can reduce is what I felt. Quantity for starters can be increased for the price they charge. Quality of the food is good. Overall a good place to have chettinad dishes.

Ordered Anjappar non veg meals, but the items mentioned in the menu was not served. Taste wise its good but worst service. Water was not at all given til we finish the meal.

Their service was good even around 3.30pm, however the Food quality is a question mark, Chicken was good, FISH was terrible & not eatable, it was like rubber, Feel their inspection team is not upto the mark, hence rating them down, Overall they have improvements opportunity.

Worst food don't ever think to go your eyes will become full even your stomachs tooo. But baking soda will be 70% in the food. Literally loss of appetite all the best who are going to visit.

Super sad place. Unavailability of items (in meals) topped with poor service is a perfect recipe for disaster. They ruined a family lunch. One item that was ordered never arrived. They have destroyed not only their legacy, but the very concept of a South Indian meal. Avoid.

I had spotless amazing experience multiple times. The food quality was mouth watering and the beverages sold were in an affordable rate (without compromising the quality). The ambience was refreshing and service provided was dignified. Parking facilities should have been made better for two wheelers.

Service was slow seems like they let go the stff & special items from the menu were available.for which they promptly said business is low so they weren't procurring all the ingredients. Else, the rest was good

Waste of money.they have cancelled most of the items in their meals.the service is utterly pathetic.after informing so many the water was not filled, rice was not served after asking twice.their yellow dal is not there, they dont give anything voluntarily.the servers are north indians who doesnt know the name of the dish and how to serve, disappointed.
MOST OF ALL, MY HUSBAND ORDERED FOR LEMON JUICE AND THE ONE HE GOT WAS WITH LIPSTICK MARK. DISGUSTING > IN THIS CORONA SITUATION THEY DONT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT HYGIENIC

Extremely bad experience here, food is good but the service is extremely bad!
We had eaten some food and asked them to parcel the remaining food, guess what! They gave that parcel to someone else and when we asked for the parcel they asked us to pay again cos they don't have it! Lol! Worst of worst experience I ever had, I never had this experience in my lifetime in any hotels or restaurant

Non veg meals and Chettinad Chicken fry is simply superb. I would definitely recommend this restaurent for team lunch with colleagues. Serving is little time taking. Overall, I enjoyed food.

2 years back when I came with family the taste and quality went way poor.

Now the food taste and quality has improved way better than before.

Delicious treat for Non-Veg lovers. Usually crowded on Weekends, prefer to reach early for reduced waiting time.

Must try: Non Veg meals, Mutton Biryani (seeraga samba variety), Nethily Fry, Nalli Fry.

In my own experience, good place for trying authentic Tamil Nadu non veg varieties in Bangalore.

The quantity is little dis-appointment. When ordered Nalli Fry, we were happy to see the serving which is big enough. But on discovering half the plate with potatoes, felt bad.

Taste wise worth the money for each dish.

It is a proper tamil nadu restaurant as the name suggest, the dish are quite good and some are not value for money, but the servicing is good like other restaurants. It was a great time there.

Had visited for lunch. They offered food on banana leaves. W o w! Loved the experiance. It was decent food. I had veg items. My friends tried non veg and as per them it was very nice.

I myself an eggiterian & will not have non-veg apart from egg. I have ordered egg biryani & found Chicken pieces in the biryani. I have questioned the same to manager & the response I received is that they just have removed pieces from the rice by including an egg & served it as an egg biryani since egg is also non-veg. This is to keep the people informed who will have only egg apart from non-veg to be aware of the process going on in many of the multi-cuisine restaurants!

Went to this place on the day of elections. Had been to Anjappar after a very long time. We had Kothu Parotha, Veg meals, Non Veg Meals and Lime Juice. Rates are way too high for the quantity they serve. Dosa with Mutton curry is priced at 270 for instance. Veg meals had a dessert while non veg didn't come with one. When asked they said there's no dessert with non veg meals. I still don't get it why there's no dessert in non veg meals inspite of it being priced slightly higher. Also we noticed the restaurant people asking the other customers had they voted. The reason being the management was offering beverages and ice cream scoops to those who voted. They never bothered to inform us about the offer when our order was taken. We had to voluntarily ask them about the offer once we were done with food. To sum up, the experience wasn't that great. The food was okayish. The only good part was the service which was pretty fast.
