Hey guys, the best time to visit this place is january and February. Now it's close because of leeches.

Save water, save soil and save future

A nice setup literally in the middle of the forest. No mobile signal - only one landline for the place. Good for birding, hiking and nature walks during daylight. After dark there are reports of big cats and large mammals roaming nearby.

You pay for the location n ambience, the staff were cordial n accommodative. The food n room upkeep can be better.

Great evergreen forest, with lots of diversity, in insects, birds
if you visit in late monsoon take care, there are leeches around
as for as the camp the location is great, but
all boards are written in Kannada, (being a tourist place we do expect multilingual boards,), Staff had a very unfriendly approach towards you, and do not care to reply if you ask any questions,
staying in the camp is not at all suggested, there are better managed places

Anshi Evergreen Camp is located around 30mins from Dandeli.

One can experience an adventurous and dense forest stay. Power cut may happen frequently and solar power backup is available but not sure for how long it would come.

Stay: Rents we’re okay okay but can experience Forest stay once.

Food: Food was okay okay when we visited.

Service: Room service is not available. There is dining hall available where all guests will be gathered for food.

Parking: As it is forest area, there is big area available for the same.

Facilities: Solar Water heater, tent stay and dormentry.

Most liked: Butterfly garden, Early morning walk, Yoga, No Mobile Network, Nice air, Peaceful and silence.

Overall, I would say, we can opt for it once to experience adventurous stay.

BE AWARE OF LEECHES…

Very good place for nature lovers, calm n cool. Only drawback is the price which is recently hiked to 2000 odd per day in a cottage to almost 3900 for 2 people. Food options are very little but tastes similar to home food. Please plan properly before going since no last minute changes allowed.

Good and safe stay. Staff was cooperative but not upto private resorts. Overall good experience and worth it. Good sight seeing near by.

All most all sign boards are in "Kannada" only, I think the Karnataka Government (Forest department) expecting "Kannada" People only. I stayed in Anshi Ever Green Resort, it is below average resort compared with many others. Condition of Tents were pathetic.only food was good.

Worst place to be here. Had very bad experience. Dont look at the photos and go here. Not maintained well. Rooms are not good, room lights not operative. Frequent power cuts during night and no additional power backups or alternate method for lights. Food is bad, have to request for everything. On top of all these, homestay incharge or the cooks are very arrogant and ignorant. They were drunk and the response they provided was pathetic.
Beware during nights inside, you can find additional members like frog, big flies and big rats, spoiled the bags and eatables.

Overall not a good place to visit, you will repent.
