Great place to buy recently used books of engineering and medical students. Affordable and numerous shops are there. But you cannot find much of the upsc and arts stream books.

I have come here on two occasions and on both trips i didn't get the books i wanted to buy. So i cannot give a satisfied review since i had to return empty handed. The shopkeepers are nice and will help you. One cannot say all types of books are available on Avenue road, one can say popular and common books are found there. The only ray of sunshine was eating the jalebis there, which is quite irrelevant for this review.

We searched in many places like queens road, etc, but were unable to find them. Someone told us about Book Center in avenue road. Initially, we did not believe, but just wanted to give it a shot. We went there and found all the books we were looking for. I was surprised to see the huge collection they have. After that, I have suggested it to many people, and all have shared the same opinion. Its location is very handy for traveling.

Very bad experience. I bought text books for my daughter of 9th grade on 20/4/2019. But after school reopened i came to know that two books is of different content when I took it back for exchange on 19/6/2019 he refused to do saying its 3 months. School opened on June 2nd. We purchased the books what he gave as we do not know about it, out of ten books two books didn't match. I had genuine reason but still he was rude.

If you go down you will find chikpet where you will find all types of sarees and dresses. Saree collections are good. But you have to be perfect in bargaining. If you take car you will be frustrated in 1-2 mins, if you get bike you will get frustration after some 5-6 mins. If you park your bikes and go by walk that will be good. You can go by metro. If you want to visit here then please don't carry costly things with you. Beware of your things in the crowd.
