The best place to visit after nandi hills. Very less crowded. After visiting the temple at top. You can go to tiger reserve which has single road having forest at both sides which is peaceful and beautiful

The journey from the starting point and the entering the forest is amazing. It has great view of greenery and hills. If you're lucky then you may have sightings of wild animals too. Must place to visit when you come to Chamarajanagara or even when you near Mysore.

Great place for an weekend rides on ur vehicles. After you enter this place the roads are narrow but when riding on those roads it gives you feels. If you are lucky you can also spot deers bisons and in safari elephants and other animals. You can also book kgudi resorts if you wanna stay in that place. Have an temple and view point which you can visit.

BR Hills is a must visit place for those who love riding.

It has pleasant weather throughout the year and is also one of best places to visit during and post monsoon, the ride through forest along K. Gudi is really beautiful. Animal sighting here as well depends on luck.

Billigiri Rangaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Ranganathan. The temple is situated at the topmost point of the hills and offers a spectacular bird’s eye view of the entire region.
One of the most scenic places. Good for one day trip. U have to drive through the forest if ur lucky enough u may find se wild animals on the way.
It's around 175 kms from Bangalore.
From here u can also visit K Gudi.
Best time to visit is early morning.

18km from kollegal. Deers, elephants, indian gaur are in common, If you are lucky enough you may get tiger sighting

Simply an amazing place with natural beauty with divine touch of sri ranganathaswamy temple on top best time to visit would be post monsoon. Don't forget to get some authentic bettad nalli pickles.

Ranging from flat green lands to canopy of huge trees on either side of a narrow road leads in to the forest further and further which goes on finally to the village limits and the main temple. There are some wide variety of animals I have seen so far with 5 visits. When it rains, the land is filled with lush greens and is the best time to visit.

A day ride to this place is a must.you will be asked to pay the entry fee by the forest department. As per the sign boards we are not allowed to get down and take the pictures in the forest area.

The hills are in the Yelandur,  Kollegal and Chamarajanagar talukas of Chamarajanagar District of Karnataka. They are contiguous with hills in Sathyamangalam Wildlife Sanctuary in Erode District of Tamil Nadu to the south. By road, they are about 90 kilometres (56 mi) from Mysore and 160 kilometres (99 mi) from Bangalore. The road leading to the village on top of the hills may be approached either from Yelandur or Chamarajanagar. Kyathadevara Gudi or K Gudi is located close to BR Hills, where safari is conducted.

If you are planning for a one day trip, this place is one of the best. You can even stay back. There are few hotels available which provide accommodation. Best time to visit is during winter season. Temple is still under construction. But they have built a temporary mantapa where the pooja is being done.

Splendid hills, forest climate, greenery make lost in their beauty. Temple must need be develop a lot. Bus faculty is proper. No proper hotels and facilities. Without expectations you can feel little bit comfortable.

Very nice place I went in afternoon temple was about to close, didn't find any wild animals but trees are huge in numbers on the way to hill top what kind of trees I don't know it has grown in a gap of 1 feet. Lots of trees. Great drive to the hill top careful driving gives good experience.
