Fish gravy was average but was good not stale, recommended if you are looking for budget Bengali restaurant around Majestic area.
But you have to have time to wait for the food, we had waited around 20 minutes for our food for two, though there were only another two persons finishing their dinner, but they cooked the fish freshly and showed the raw before cooking

Babu Mosai used to be our go to place for any gathering or party. During Durga Pooja, we used to wait to eat at their food stall. But post COVID, we tried their food recently and quality of food is not up to the mark like before. Mutton preparation wasn't like before. It was not boiled properly where as price is like star hotel. It's a 30 years Bengali restaurant where people expect Bengali style food. Dal has been prepared in South Indian style with curry leaf.
As per my opinion no Bengali should expect Bengali food in the said restaurant any more.
I think Babu Mosai is unable to manage the restaurant and live upto it's old time charm. We were greatly disappointed with the taste this time. And if he does not improve the quality of food, in very short time he will loose all the old Bengali customers.

The service is fair, but the price of everything is extra, if you want something extra, it is extra cost.

It's not hygienic food.the place is very dirty and smelling.food taste is also not good and the price is also high. It is better to choose another Bengali hotel.

I had lunch there and food quality and taste was good but price is very high more than expectation. They provide many variety

Had a terrible dinner. Under-seasoned food, hard rice and completely missed the Bengali flavor.

I love this place. If you're a bangali and u will find bangali food then must visit this place.

Foods are very expensive and quantity is not also sufficient. As per my suggestion don't come here.
