Very highly priced for the rooms and the overall service. Food is good (native style). The beds in the room are in a bad condition. Pool is good.

Staff are on their toes to help you. Delicious food and they grow vegetables (organic) on their own.

This place is wonderful, great food awesome ambiance, just that the road leading to this place is trechrous.

The location is awesome. We went for a one day outing. Had a very good experience. The food quality was really good. Good for family outing

Went for an event. Some colleague's stayed the previous day. Approach road is very narrow mud road for a couple of km. The resort is nice and looks in synergy with nature. The food very basic served as buffet. Taste above average. Clealiness is good. Rooms colleague's stayed in looked like a modern hut inside (keeping in tune with the eco theme). Tilled roof.mud walls. If you want to experience something different you can try this. They have a pool too.

Beautiful and serene place amidst a village. As the name suggest the stay and property takes you to a nostalgic ride. Extremely polite and helpful staffs, well maintained cottages and the food was tasty. They had limited but very healthy options. Trek was the best part and they do have a well maintained pool as well.

It was very nice experience. Service and all arrangements were so perfect. It was very relaxing and food was also very nice. Veg and nonveg was seperate even. Overall it was my perfect trip. Thank you so so so much?

Serene, calm location. Lovely and beautiful place. Great ambiance and aura. Excellent home-cooked food, Very good swimming pool. Only negative is the entrance and exit, which is a mud road. It would be nice if these roads are paved. Overall great place for a weekend getaway.

The location was great. An amazing place to be with family and friends. It has a pure village feel. The included activities like tractor ride to the sunset point, pottery, games, trekking (difficulty level medium), cattle feeding, farm visit, bonfire etc were very good. The food was very delicious and yummy. We went for new year celebration.we were told that no music will be allowed after 11p.m. But the music stopped at 1 p.m. That was ok anyways. We booked family cottage (Nimba) it was quite away from other cottages. It was very basic cottage.interior was not good though exterior was good with a swing at back side. The cottage was not at all cozy. Also the lighting was not sufficient with the fan working at a constant speed. The rugs used in the rooms were torn n dirty. Linens used were not clean.
Overall a very good experience and a place to spend some quality time.

The rustic cottages built in courtyard style are spacious, comfortable, very well maintained & clean. Extremely helpful, polite staff. Food is excellent in terms of variety, quality & taste. Typically Karnataka cuisine.lip smacking unusual dishes.
We enjoyed the bonfire & beautiful swimming pool. The massage at the spa run by Shatayu was rejuvenating.

Pure example that nature and humans can coexist in harmony. This place is way more beautiful than the pictures. One needs to visit to experience. Food is simple and delicious. We went with our 1.5 year old and she loved it. The staff is courteous and disciplined. We were fortunate that there was just another small group and we got to witness top notch service.
We accidentally stumbled upon this property and definitely are going back.

Home away from home! Tooo gud enjoyed our two day stay. All staffs are really welcomnng. Rooms are too gud! Food is yumm! Eveng tractor ride, Nd mrng trekking was totally a different experience.luvd it nd suerly we gonna come back again.

It just takes us back to our native roots by giving a village experience yet with full comfort of a luxury resort. You get to experience the nature first hand among the forest, farms, greenery and wildlife around. Majority of the stuff you eat here is grown organically here itself.

You wont get the Airconditioned rooms but who needs that among this natural habitat. The cottages are designed in old village style with mini courtyard in the center. Mud walls will never make you feel the need of AC. There is enough yo explore for all members of family, they even have traditional board game yard they call as kreedangana. There is very nice trek to the hill nearby for adventure lovers.
Overall an awesome experience. We went there with our family of including children and old parents and everyone enjoyed it equally. Thanks to prakash, suresh and the entire staff for a wonderful experience.

We stayed for a day. Food and stay was good.
The only issue we faced was the sleeping arrangement. They have to really increase the quality of mattress, pillow and bedsheet.
We didn't have a good night's sleep.

Had a beautiful stay. Surrounded by lush green trees and it’s just so calming and relaxing. Properly very well maintained and they have multiple activities including the tractor ride. Staffs are welcoming. Rooms are clean. Food served is local cuisine. Good to see how they have adapted local culture within the property.

Well made 30 acre village. Food is tasty and clean. The onward road needs an high Ground clearance car. The stay cottages have a very traditional villagee feel with squirrels frequent visitors. Take care that the food brought to the cottage is well protected. Games and tractor rides are also fine.

Very happy with the place! Quaint village environment.the lodging is very nice. Has a very authentic rural feel to it. We were able to relax away from the noise and crowds. This area does not have cellphone reception or internet. This may be a disadvantage for some, but for us it was a big positive. There are vegetable gardens to look at. They have a nice hike on property, a tractor ride which the kids enjoy and a cow shed where there a few cows and a goat. For the kids there is a small play area. More than the specific attractions the very feel of the place is worth spending time in. The management and people are very helpful and food was very good. Rural kannada cuisine (akki rotti, ragi mudde, soppu palya and kalu saaru amongst others). They also have a small non-veg offering as well for those who want it.

We spent two days there and on our second day, a very well known Kannada movie star came along with his entourage and family. For a moment, we were a little concerned that with a celebrity amidst us, the ambiance might change a bit. But fortunately, management continued their best service to everyone and I was also very impressed by the down to earth and pleasant attitude of the movie star. Our concern at the end turned out to be a nice positive experience.

While leaving, we asked for some organic veggies grown in their property and got a lot of bottle gourd, Guava and bitter gourds at a very nominal price. Would very strongly recommend the place to everyone.

Fantastic place to visit. We decided for a night stay and extended it for one more night. The rooms are spacious neat and clean. The food was the highlight a simple but very tasty. A special call-out to the Resort Manager JP. A well maintained resort so close to Bangalore City. Do not miss the Slush Volleyball, Tractor ride and the View atop the water tank. Early morning trek was the icing on the cake.enjoyed our two days.

For nature lovers. I loved the village sports I had forgotten. The rooms are quite nice, 100 percent natural products. The food was simple and good.

It's a beautiful place. The biggest advantage is its proximity to Bangalore. You are never too tired when you reach the place. And about the place itself - it's full of fruit trees, ragi fields, flowering plants, Goshala and an organic farm. A tractor ride in the evenings, great food 3 times a day with an evening snack of course, and a nice long walkway around the property, a swimming pool, an indoor sports place and a huge field for outdoor sports. Also has a small play area for kids. It's as complete as it can get. And the accommodation is brilliant. Village style houses built not more than 5 years ago- a blend of modern amenities and rustic architecture. All in all a great experience.

Best place to visit for a weekend trip. Lots of games, fire camp, trekking and swimming pool. Best recommended for a group of friends or a family for a one day holiday. Theme of the resort is completely village type and there is greenery everywhere. I bet will you will have a great time in the resort.

Baevu is a short distance getaway from Bangalore nestled deep on the boundary of a reserve forest. The place does its best to gel in with nature around. The cottages are tastefully made. The food is traditional kannada style. The place offers a lot to every age group. Swimming pool, cricket, volleyball, basketball, cycling to the sporty ones on one hand, peaceful walks meditation spaces and indoor games for the rest. You also get together for bonfire at night amid a clear sky. If you are goin in winters you can sleep on a cot half baked in sun and half in shade and just experience that silence with bird chirps that you miss in a big city. All in all, a great getaway without travelling for hours all together. Prakash and team do a great job of taking care of all your needs.
Do make a visit. You would come back rejuvenated.

Had been to baevu on 20th Dec. We were 6 couples n 6 kids. The manager mr Lokesh took great care of us and obliged all our requests. It was really fun and we enjoyed it. Will sure go back again. Most happy. One of the best experiences. The food was simple, but really nice. Quality was amazing. The staff were very courteous. Interacted with many of them. From the security till the manager, every one was sweet. Loved the place. It felt we were living in a village, but the place n room was clean n neat. Well maintained. Will surely go back.

Greenary also great here.all is good about this place. The only difficulty is reaching this place as we have to go through muddy roads.

A silent place far away from the ever sounding cities, the Buildings are a masterpiece, clean and very well maintained.

The staff here are very nice.

Every thing is natural. No artificial stuffs.

The names of the Dormitories are also so nature friendly. Tulasi, Davana, Basale.and so.

As told by the people, many more things are now going to be added, like Massage therapy, spa, ayurvedic treatment and so on.

The outstanding part is the Pool. Crystal clear water. One will never come out of the pond once entered.

Must visit if you want to experience your 80s and 90s and village style. Both day outing and stay package is worth here. Food is excellent you will get desi or nati style kind of food. They have maintained very hygiene every where. Lots of activities to keep engage every time.

Baevu, is an amazing earthy resort, that's a great weekend break from the hustle and bustle of Bangalore.
They have their own kitchen garden, they have their version of a healthy kannadiga cuisine. You can go for great birding walks, or lol in their pool, or just unwind in their delightfully designed cottages - an experience of an era gone by.
Spend 2 days of a schoolmates reunion, and we are still talking about it.

Had a relaxing weekend, the place is beautiful and laid back. Built around the adjoining forest with a self sustaining design. Has a village life theme with tasty food and comfortable stay. Would recommend this place as a must visit.

It is a place away from hustel bustel of the city. Approach road to resort is ruff road (literally off-road) for last 3 KM and fun starts from there itself. Rooms are built with red mud and looks eco-friendly. Food is homely with limited options but healthy. Tractor ride to sunset point is awesome. Overall good but expensive considering the a facilities available.

Amazing experience! Humble staff. Clean food. Don't expect luxury like wifi, room service etc, It's purely village experience. Entry and exit roads are worst! Low ground clearance cars will surely be a problem!

This is excellent place. We went for office te am outing and had great experience with the place. The hospitality is nice. We are able to play many games and activities. Food is very delicious and anyone throughout the world can opt to come to this place as they have good variety of food. Swimming pool, night co-curricular activities, camp fire are one of the best things here. The stay is excellent and they have arranged it clean. Morning trek is good where you'll be able to see some wild animals as well. Overall beautiful place and definitely recommend for any company outing, family outing and for friends to hang out as well. I'm looking forward to visit this place again soon.

Its a very different concept, best was their, Slush Volley ball court. Food was typical Karnataka style served in earthen cutlery. Lovely location.

The architecture gives an experience of living in old 'Mysore culture'. You have to travel through a village (narrow read) for about 2.50 Km.to reach this place. You have to stay here to experience.

The food is super fresh.all ingredients used are right from fields across. Great ambience and you can get in touch with your roots here through games food and culture

A nice village style resort with authentic Karnataka food. Only compliant would be about the approach road to the resort. Approach road is really pathetic.

Had a very good experience. Visited with family and everyone enjoyed the outing including my 4.5 year old daughter. Authentic village-like setup which gets you closer to nature. From the rooms which have a verandah and outdoor seating, to the kids play area which has a unique cement slide that you need to climb a rock to get to the top, to the food at the restaurant which is made from fresh organically grown vegetables. Everything here is uniquely designed. There is a reserve forest just behind the resort, so there are a lot of different species of birds that you see here. There is a nature trek as well, which we couldn't go for. Bonfires, swimming pool, village games, pottery, trek, tractor ride, there is so much to do. The staff was very polite, courteous and helpful. All in all, a wonderful experience which I would definitely recommend.
