Banaras Sweet House

It’s a very old North Indian sweet shop in the most crowded area of Chickpet. You can buy gulab jamun, burfi, jalebi along with other sweets. Taste theek theek hai, still it’s a milestone on avenue road. You can try Gujrati dish like thepla, dhokla & khakhara also. Shop is in old look since decades. Nothing changes has been done since a long. You can call it local heritage property of avenue road.

Gives a nostalgic taste in this 70 year sweet shop. Staff were polite. Kachori and lassi tasted good

Today I had visited this store and bought one badam milk and fried cashew nuts parcel after when I came home and I checked quantity of badam milk inside glass was only three fourth very disappointed I did not expect this to happen

Had taken 1kg sweet paneer for 700 rupees from here. Have looted us by giving us spoiled sweets.it was so horrible that we could not put it in our mouth.they have given us spoilt food shamelessly. Do no go here under any circumstances. Attaching photos for proof.

Edit- see its not about the money, its the quality i am asking about, and they really don't care about it.

I wiah i could give 0 rating. They charge as heavy as taj hotel, with no special products or quality. I wonder how can they do that?

Old world charm of Avenue Road and delicious tasting sweets at Benaras sweet house. Can really make your day sweeter.

Legendary sweets and savoury shop.i am fan of their savouries since childhood, used to stay in the same area.badam halwa, rasmalai and basundi are to die for.regularly visit the shop whenever I am in that area.
