Bandipur National Park

If you are going with a mind of sighting tiger then you will be upset. Keep an open mind and enjoy the safari. You will sight a lot of animals and drive through the jungle has a different level of charm.
Morning safaris are best. It may not be possible to take pictures of all animals or birds or insects you spot. So enjoy every bit.

One of the famous National Park Karnataka/India. Located at Gundlupet (Karnataka) -Gudalur/Mudumalai (Tamilnadu) route. Here Forest department providing safari facility. While safari, you can see wild animals (Deer, Gaur, Wild Dog, Elephant, Leopard and Tiger etc). Atmosphere is excellent. Forest department's Service and Response is good

Great drive through the forest.if you're lucky you might some animals. We saw deers, obviously monkeys (two types) and elephant herd.

I took a jungle safari in kakanakote kabini. It was a wonderful experience for me. Every wildlife photographers said that kabini will never disappoint you. And that safari proven for me also

Waste of time and money. We can't see any tiger. Very few elephants and deer we can see. Don't plan for this place

Bandipur national park is located at Bangalore and Tamilnadu border. This is a very big national park surrounded by hills and lush greenery looks like natural habitats for big cats (Tiger). Must visit this place. There are Safari service run by forest department. You can book the ticket either online or on the spot as well.if you are lucky you can spot the tiger otherwise there are many other animal that you can spot in their natural habitat. This is 2nd largest tiger reserve in India having more than 190 tigers, so there is very high chance to spot the tiger. While travelling from Bandipur to Ooty, you can also spot multiple wild life animals like Elephants, deers, bison, gaur, leopards and birds beside the roads. We spotted an elephant with her new born baby, a leopard and a dancing peacock.

We stayed in windflower jungle resort. Went for morning and evening safari. Luckily we are able to spot tiger in our evening safari.

Advise-
Best time to visit is either winter or Summer. If it rains then Tigers won’t come out so difficult to spot
Carry water bottle and snacks

Oh My God! Such an amazing place for the wild life lovers. You would really wonder at the beauty of animals. I saw the cute Elephant calf with its mom on the road wow wow Early morning would be better time to watch animals
