There is a verdant and sprawling area that beckons visitors with a choice of van or jeep safaris. The van safari travels along a set route, offering glimpses of a variety of animals, including birds, mongooses, peacocks, wild boars, and deer that roam near the road. While spotting a tiger is a matter of luck, the van safari promises a delightful experience for nature enthusiasts.
On the other hand, the jeep safari offers a higher probability of sighting wild animals like tigers and leopards in the depths of the dense jungle. However, the cost of this safari is relatively higher than the van safari.
It is important to note that the monkeys in the area are known to be highly aggressive, so visitors must exercise caution with their food and children when at the safari reservation counter.
The staff at this picturesque safari are warm and welcoming, and the park is meticulously maintained, evoking a sense of tranquility and serenity. Overall, the environment is unparalleled, receiving a five-star rating. The staff's service receives a four-star rating, while the safari experience garners three stars. Unfortunately, the aggressive monkeys detract a star from the overall rating.

We took the route of Bandipura to reach Ooty from Bengaluru. The jungle is full of deers and elephants and you don’t need safari to see them. The route is beautiful with so much greenery and animals on the way. The safari is good too.
Nice environment. The government must maintain the animals since the cost of safari is high for each person.so they have to maintain animal but they r not doing it. Please government has to do this work by providing all facilities to animals there. It's our fate that animals may come or may not on our safari path.
Bandipur National Park is spectacular. Amazingly maintained. Huge park with lush greenery mesmerising to the eyes. The parks reception office is located on hilltop and was very organised with queues. Prices were fixed for safari. Safaris available were private in gypsy and buses as well. Did not get a chance to see tiger though saw bucks, peacocks etc.
Nice place to spend time with family. We can't see wild animals all the time. If we r lucky it can be seen nearer. Only two time slots are available for jungle safari 6am to 9am then 3pm to 6pm. So plan accordingly if you r going to visit.
Mudhumalai and bandipur are joint forest which don't have boundaries for animals. Mudhumalai forest jeep safari is very difficult because most of the days it book by VIP, but in bandipur they have a online booking and 6 jeeps available in good condition. Mudhumalai they have 2 brand new jeeps but as i said it's for VIP only, so dont relay on jeep in mudhumalai go for bus ride it's worth. Definitely don't miss jeep safari in Bandipur it's long ride in deep Forest. Animal sightings are based on luck.
