Bangalore International Centre (BIC)

This was my first theatre play which I attended today. It was fun and I had a good laugh. Enjoyed the play.

Hidden in the tree canopied streets of Domlur, this place hosts comedy shows, plays, art displays and much more. Located at 5 minutes walk from Domlur bus stop on the old airport road or a little far from Indiranagar metro station, its easily accessible by public transport. Do drop by to see play or a standup gig.

One of the best spaces to enjoy art and culture in the city. Bengaluru needs more of such public spaces.

Serene place especially for art lovers. It could be any art. You can watch with your family members. Many more activities related to art will be going on. It has a theatre for performing art. Please those who are interested can register for the upcoming shows.

Fun place for different kinds of events. Workshops, santEs, tryouts, lunches, dinners, particularly hosted by those who wish to venture into something new, it has it all. Good upscale ambience and home to some fun experimental restaurants every now and then.

Didn't know something like this existed in the heart of Bangalore. Spacious, airy, with privately hirable conference rooms, a cafe-cum-restuarant that serves good food and drinks, a terrace that is wow and bunch of rotating exhibitions. A good interlude from the fast gave of city life.

One of the best knowledge centres in Bangalore; I had the pleasure to visit this wonderful place 2 times in 2 weeks: I went to the H20 and Earth events, as well as attended the enlightening talk by Dr. Ramchandra Guha the next week.

At first I thought the place was going to be humongous. To my surprise, on entering the reception and walking towards the Auditorium, I realized that the architect (s) has/have cramped as much as they can into a limited space. Can't blame much. It's right in the middle of a residential layout with beautifully designed houses located opposite the centre. On the other hand, the hall on the first floor seemed quite ambient and spacious. That hall for me was much more comfortable than the Auditorium. Overall nothing to be excited about. Just a routine building with glimpses of modern architecture here and there.

Beautiful place curated for general public. Well designed and well intended. Find some of the most interesting performances, discussions screening, activities and events happening in Bangalore city.

Quite a nice place.good place for my time / productive time for brain storming etc.the canteen/restaurant is decent with some good food options. We were there for the exhibition related to water (science category) and really enjoyed the exhibit. Recommend to keep looking for programs/exhibition here and attend based on interest.

Awesome place, lovely structure, tiny auditorium per sae but very cool. Great ambience. Perfect location limited parking though. Nestled in residential area.

Situated at a Good locality but has extremely limited parking space. So plan to park away and walk to this venue. Nicely designed building. Attended my kids school event there. School staff were manning the traffic.

Place is very well maintained, it also has auditorium. Parking, well maintained washroom facilities are available to organise any event at the venue.

Terrace also has amphitheatre, but the issue is it is located next to canal, height of side wall is not safe if planning for children. Other than that it is very well maintained and very economic comparatively.

I really liked the place.the place is located in a fairly accessible location.plus it is well maintained.we also went for the "submerge" exhibition.which was science with artistic touch to it and it was a lovely exhibition where the volunteers gave detailed explanation

An excellent place for anything. Well constructed, beautifully designed, artistically made. The whole concept is fantastic. I mean you can hold talk shows, exhibitions, fashion shows, art shows, dance shows, book shows, just about everything under the sun. Worth a visit and an asset to the city of Bangalore!

Awesome building. I visited here for SUBMERGE exhibition. The interior is well furnished and looks quite nice. It's a great place to conduct exhibition and events.

There is also a library in the building. Washroom and toilets are very well maintained.

The only issue I found is that there is a very dirty and disgusting river nearby. So make sure to keep the windows closed.

Best place to get your daily dose of theatre, film, or any art form under one roof for free. Must visit by art lovers.

Centre is neat and clean. Have a great seating facility. Only issue that we have got is their mic, speaker and display issue during presentation. I know it is a major lag, still they rectified immediately. Building is located near defence area and the place is so calm.

Located in a very aesthetic building and superbly run by Mr. Ravichandran who sets up great conversations and events to cater to all age groups. The conversation with Abhijit & Ester was a sold out event and they spoke to the enthralled audience and members were give priority seating and for the rest a screen was organized outside. The centre’s emails informing the scheduled programs are non intrusive and informative. Great to be a member there

It's an amazing place for people who enjoy interactive sessions as many of these are hosted here. Recently science gallery has set up few exhibits which are amazing. These exhibits would help people to think and see the world in a whole new perspective. The Bangalore international centre (BIC) has two auditoriums, an amphitheatre and library along with few halls. The building is maintained well. And is accessible to differently abled people as well. It has lift facility as well. They have parking space in the basement. The building also contains a cafe in the ground floor so that you can grab something when you are hungry. Basic facilities like drinking water and toilets are available in each floor and are in excellent condition.

An excellent place where scientists, science and society meet. Recent theme oriented activity related to water was a huge success. Must congratulate all stake holders in this venture. State govt, IISc, NCBS etc. Many such should come up to bring the positivity of India

A place worth visiting to gain knowledge. BIC remains true to its vision of encouraging the intellect and stimulating the senses.
The programs are varied from musical events to talks on legal topics, literature, art n architecture, Wildlife, sessions with well known professionals and academicians on varied topics.
The new building is done beautifully with large spaces for promoting artistic visuals etc.
I thoroughly enjoyed the sessions conducted by renowned artist Ravi Kashi.
It takes me 2 hours just to reach BIC but it is worth it and have NEVER come back regretting!

Sophisticated convention center
Beautifully planned and well laid out in the heart of the city is the Bangalore international center. It has a few auditoriums, a restaurant, a library and a cafe. It has underground parking. The road leading up to the center is a bit narrow but suffices.

A tucked away place. Fairly recent in origin.and seems to have a great set of events and shows that help develop scientific temper

A really cool place where art in every form is encouraged and promoted. Nestled inside a quiet residential lane, surrounded with greenery, this contemporary building provides a platform for all the artists to showcase their work. I had the opportunity to visit yesterday to check out Bengaluru Bydesign and was pleasantly surprised with the installations. Every installation and innovation was creative and thought provoking. I especially loved the ‘City Author Stories Write’ experiment by Pearl Academy where we can write our Bangalore stories in one of the books displayed. I only hope more people visit this center to check out the amazing talent.

World class auditorium designed for small, discriminating audiences. Unique events such as Masterclass with Adoor Gopalkrishnan are truly rare opportunities - made possible by all those who contribute to making BIC what it is.

Cool place for performances.enveloped in good amount of green.very pleasing architecture. And do try cute little samosas at the ground floor canteen.they were really tasty.it might take a few minutes to prepare them fresh though. Beware of mosquitoes in lounge area in the evening.

Nice place and lots of mini halls available for programs and functions and food is good and parking space is available on the road

We had the JSFoo VueDay organised here and it wasn't bad. The turnout was around 120 and the auditorium could accommodate around 200 folks.

Apt place for quality plays, screenings and concerts. Lot of them are free of cost. Good place for bringing community together with such selective tastes in performing arts.

This is located in Domlur. From Silkboard go towards Indiranagar cross the flyover and then take left. It is 10kms from silk board. A bit in the interior, not visible from main road.but well built, spacious and admirable.they have a small cafeteria, art gallery, auditoriums and library. Main patron is Nilekani family. Movie shows are organised here, besides various cultural programmes. If you desire you can become a member also.

My first visit for the exhibit of the Srishti College of design. It was an exhibition of the graduation students.
The place is not on any main road and not that easy to find except for the fact it's on maps.so kind of directs you to the place.
Good space for exhibitions and having a running cafeteria helps to relax and continue with the exhibition.

Came to attend graduation of my son and screening of his animation film ' A perfect date ' as it was a important day for my son and family, screen and sound was just fine and auditorium is surrounded by numoures fauna and flora and a pond full of colorful fishes. A cafeteria to relax and caught a quick bite. Enjoyed the ambiance and BIC.

The way pizza is prepared in an oven home made, indigenous, it seemed to me. I observed it from outside the cabin that gladdened me unspeakably.
Innovative way of preparing pizza is praise worthy.
Its ambience is romantic. But the price is a bit pricier. If it's mitigated a little bit it would be good for all of us.

Loved being there for the whole day. I wish architects designed places without this bone chilling ac systems, I think natural ventilation would work just fine in Bangalore

Excellent space. Spacious, adequate parking, quiet lane, comfortable seating, good acoustics, decent cafe. Thoroughly enjoyed the srikrishnarjuna Yakshagana on 16 sep 19.

Quite an amazing auditorium. An excellent sound system, lights and stage. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. Seats 180 people in the main auditorium.

Beautifully designed, state of the art, spacious and has ample parking of you are driving. If there's a driver, they insist on parking outside.

Recently opened International Center as the name says with amazing world class infrastructure. Symbol of India emerging into the Developed economy state thru this form of infrastructure and architecture with all necessary amenities and facilities that a good Auditorium should have. Only that the number of seats could be much more than what it is now at approx 186+ may be it should have been 300 or 400+ seats but multi Options to have events at multiple levels too good. Catering area could be cleaner and more affordable with vegetarian options. Public transport connectivity could be better though TTMC is closeby but walking distance is not so near and clear. Need improvement for better accessibility

An amazing place tucked away in Domlur for interesting talks, exhibitions and events. Went to a memorial lecture which was organised exceptionally well. The auditorium is not very large but great acoustics and comfortable seating.

Awe inspiring n aesthetically appealing architecture, Umpteen events happen dat are attended by the Eminent people.

I visited BIC to attend a startup event of NETAPP. It has wide space with various conference room. Open area is also good. Good place to arrange any official event.

What a lovely space designed by 100 hands, Bengaluru needed one like this. Two size conference rooms, exhibition spaces, auditorium to seat around 280, lovely terrace area for small events.
