The Bangalore Kambala event was a vibrant celebration of Tulu culture, showcasing the rich heritage of Tulunadu. It's heartening to witness the unity of people from all corners of Karnataka coming together to celebrate this traditional folk sport.

Prof Sudhakar Shetty and Mrs Ashitha S Kadamba's dedication to preserving Tulunadu's history through a historical collection is commendable. Their passion for collecting artefacts and presenting them at exhibitions adds a unique touch to the event, offering attendees a glimpse into the diverse aspects of Tulu culture, including religious practices, traditions, and livelihood.

The event itself, attended by renowned celebrities, cultural experts, and a diverse crowd, reflected a deep appreciation for Tulu heritage. However, the heavy turnout made it challenging to view the Kambala Race directly from the track. To enhance the viewer experience, future editions could consider building proper galleries around the track.

Despite this, being part of the event was a joyous experience, and the organizers' inaugural effort provides a solid foundation for future improvements. The Bangalore Kambala is a step in the right direction, and with ongoing dedication, it holds the potential to become an even more immersive celebration of Tulu culture.
