BMC is very professional. Our Trek leaders Ritesh and Koushik made trekking very easy for us. Especially for beginners I recommend BMC for safe and comfortable trekking experience.

Just completed an extremely well organised trek organised BMC to Kudhremukh. As a first time solo trekker, I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I recently did the Tadiandamol trek with BMC and it was a great experience. Nikhil was the trek lead and I was truly impressed by his leadership skills. He managed everything very well and ensured that each of us was comfortable and safe. He was extremely helpful throughout the trek and even organized fun games for us afterwards, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Additionally, BMC provided us with a fantastic homestay and delicious food, making our experience even better. I am excited for more treks with BMC in the future)

Had a really good experience with BMC, exploring Kodachadri hills of Karnataka! The trek was a bit hard but totally worth it? Recommend for all trek enthusiasts. I joined them solo from Chennai and was anxious about getting back after the trek, on time to board my night bus from Blore. Our guide Nikhil was very patient, kind and took care of all our requests with a smile! I was able to catch my bus on time. Will definitely join BMC for a couple of more treks?

They are one of the oldest and most professional in this field. They have hired and retained good people and so can provide consistent quality service.

Had an awesome Dudhsagar trek with BMC. I was initially apprehensive about going for this trek with my daughter. But glad that I did it! The BMC guys were super helpful and made the trek a breeze. The stay they booked is slightly far but was very comfortable, much needed after the day long walk. Special thanks to Sachin, Harsha and Prudhvi for being so supportive and taking care of each of us in the group.

Amazing trekking experience and BMC made it as easy as it could be. They arranged a transport to drop us till the base. We played games till the time gates were opened. The trek started at around 4 a.m and took us around 2 hours till the top. Our guide Sid was very supportive and friendly during the trek and our group was together throughout. We had breakfast at a restaurant on the way back and dropped off at our respective drop locations.
Made some amazing new friends and had a great time.

The trek was amazing, both up and down. It was a wonderful experience. The crew always kept the morale up and were very friendly.

For trek enthusiasts:
Planning around rain: Rain makes it incredibly difficult at the top, coupled with clouds, its very freezing. Even-though a heads up was provided, we couldn't realise the impact of rain until at the peak.
They will make sure you are present at the venue with ample time (in our case, it was too ample) and they will take care of getting the passes.

You also get complimentary breakfast at a decent restaurant.

For organisers:
An optional safety equipment (helmet torch, knee/elbow caps etc) can be provided (those whoever want can opt for it) as for most people, it would be first time and they may not be exposed to such steepness in general.

Ours was a beginners trek. But let me drop a couple of words for the crew who were not only professional and knowledgable but also polite and sociable. They tied the group together, which only added to the fun. Highly recommend BMC.

We went on the Gangadikal trek with BMC. The transportation and accommodation was top notch (better than expected). Our amazing guide Bharadwaj was a super friendly guy and made the trek a lot of fun by engaging us with games and conversations. Hands down my best trip ever, looking forward to go on another trek with Bharadwaj!

I went on a trek to Bandaje Arbi falls with BMC. It was a great experience with BMC. Everything was very well organised. The guide - Mr Prajwal was also very helpful. The whole trip was a great experience.

The experience was amazing. I had gone for a trek to Gangadikal and the entire trek from end to end was managed really well by our trek co-ordinator Mr. Bharadwaj. He made the entire trek fun and memorable.

Had an amazing experience with BMC trekking on Netravati Trek. Trek lead Surabhi was very patient in explaining things and helping the team reach the destination. The stay arrangements were great too.

I had joined the Uttari Betta trek and it was my first with BMC. Must say, it was very well organized and co- ordinated. Our guides Prajwal and Somashekar were very supportive and kind and offered clear instructions while also checking in on the safety and comfort of everyone in the group. Not to forget their patience in clicking on-demand pics. Overall it was a lovely experience and I look forward to doing many more treks with BMC.

This trek was a special one for me as I decided to take part alone (without frds or family to accompany). I was really very happy with the experience I got. I went to Vattakanal - Kodaikanal trek, Ooty- Kotagiri trek and Bandaje falls with BMC. It was perfectly organized and safety was not compromised at any point. Had so much fun. Special thanks to the instructor Prajwal.

Trekking with BMC has always been a great experience for me. The latest addition to it being Kottagiri. This two day plan had all kinds of terrain to trek through and hence can be called a moderately difficult one. Our guide Sachin was excellent with his knowledge and experience to help everyone in the group complete the trek. He ensured even the slowest member of the group got his support all times.

The food and stay arranged were also good. We felt no shortage of anything in the two days.

The real fun was with the group members. We all were friends in few hours of starting the journey and it made the whole experience memorable.
I would be happy to join bmc for my 11th time sometime soon.

I did Kotagiri trek with BMC, my first with BMC. It was one of the best experiences. The arrangement was good and prompt. Food was good. Sachin, trek guide, was there with the only motive to ensure a great fun and experience. He took care of smallest of the requirements.
BMC seems quite professional in what they do. Looking forward to many more treks with them.

I have been part of two treks conducted by BMC: Gokarna beach trek and uttari betta day trek. Both events were handled very professionally and coordinators Prajwal and Bharadwaj were amazing and very knowledgeable about the terrain. I had a lot of fun interacting with the team. Enjoyed a lot

It was my first trekking, needless to say had a wonderful experience. Never felt that I'm trekking with some strangers, our instructor Prajwal was extremely caring and well behaved gentle man.when it comes to food, not to complain it was like home food.
You can opt for BMC if you are interested in trekking.

Dhruva and Smart were one of the best guides we have trekked with, they have been motivating at the same time was always with the group to ensure all of them reached the top along with providing information about the place, mountains around and birds around the area. Happy to have them accompany us.

It was well organised and the task performaned as per the plan. The Treak lead (Sachin) was very quick and responsive and handled everything very maturely and taken care of all the aspects excellently.

Pros: The guide "Sachin" was very good, he made sure the entire trip was fun. Starting from good introduction among the trip members at the start and then conducted games (carrom, bluff master, Mafia and the villagers, etc) and helping team members with trek say carrying there luggage, motivating, arranging the jeep in midst of trekking when one of members could not proceed further, etc). He was more of a close friend then guide.
Fortunate to meet co-trekkers who were highly educated, decent folks.

Cons: 1) Though the food was good, I was expecting some more varieties. 2) The TT was slow in driving, he took close to 10hours to travel from Kotagiri to Bangalore.

It was a great experience with BMC, we enjoyed a lot, thank u poorna and dhruva, they were very friendly during trekking, overall it was amazing

I have done 8 treks with bmc till now, my experience was fantastic on all the treks, they provide good food, good stay and professionals and responsive trek leaders.

This time I went to netravati trek with bmc the trek was amazing. There were small waterfalls on the way. They took us through unexplored trail, on that trail we visited hidden waterfall, it was amazing!

This was my first trek and a pretty amazing one at that. I had the experience of a lifetime. The weather was amazing. The climb was steep and taxing, but enjoyable.
We also went to the waterfalls, which was a great end to the day.
On the way back, we visited the Bellur temple and tea plantations on the way. I made a bunch of friends.

We went to the Uttari Betta trek this weekend through BMC and can't stop bragging about the fantastic experience we had overall. The team was super responsive, prompt and professional. We had Bharadwaj as our guide and he was super amazing as a guide, photographer, motivator, entertainer. He made sure each of us had a wonderful experience all throughout by taking very good care and keeping the group engaged and involved by suggesting a lot of fun activities. Super recommend Bharadwaj and hence super recommend BMC for all your treks.

My name is Suma Bharadwaj. I am a musician by profession and I am a complete novice when it comes to trekking. Huttari durga trek was my first trek. I am glad that I chose Bangalore Mountaineering Club.

The whole trek from start to finish was very nicely organised and executed. Our trek guide Sanjay made it seem so easy that even the complex stretch during our trek was just so breezy. We started on time and reached our respective drop off points on time. This speaks about their professional attitude too. Thanks and kudos to the entire team of Bangalore Mountaineering Club. I recommend this to all trekking enthusiasts. You wouldn't be disappointed. Looking forward to more such adventurous treks with you.

Just did the Narasimha parvatha trek and this was my second trek with BMC. It was a really awesome experience, though it was little difficult I enjoyed a lot with new friends. Our Trek leader Prajwal a very caring and supportive person.overall it's a great experience and lifelong memory ended too soon but still it was wonderful thank you.

I had been to the Gokarna Trek organized by BMC during Nov'21. Being my first trip as a solo traveller, I had my own apprehensions. But what a pleasant and refreshing experience it turned out to be! The trek was a complete scenic treat! It was handled very professionally, ensuring utmost fun in the presence of Mother Nature. Special thanks to our guide Rohit and BMC for such a memorable trip. I was fortunate to have met some really interesting and warm people as well. I would strongly recommend BMC for fellow adventure loving trekkers!

I recently did Gangadikal Trek with BMC. If you don't want to trouble yourself with what you will eat or where will you sleep, just go with BMC. Really well organised - nice stay, healthy and unlimited food, clean tents and washrooms.

Our trek lead was Prajwal and he was really fun and enthusiastic. He interacted with everyone and made sure no one is left out. The planning was also done very well, we finished the trek by 3 and then went to Hanging bridge and Soormane falls as we had enough time and next day we just relaxed.

Overall, had a really fun weekend. Thanks BMC!

Went to Netravati with BMC this past weekend. Had a great time! Prajwal, our instructor, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and entertained. Highly recommended.

It’s been a wonderful experience with BMC, the whole team feels nothing less than family ️. Sachin (Our coach, as we call him:) ) goes the extra mile in caring and supporting each one making the whole experience exciting beyond imagination. The whole organisation is so subtle that it doesn’t feel like they have planned it, everything goes by effortlessly and with tons of fun, leaving one with loads of memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Loved every second of the weekend I spent with BMC, well coordinated and FUN, Sachin and Dhruva are one of the kindest and most patient humans I know, couldn’t have finished the trek without them, highly recommend BMC even if it’s your first trek.

This is the 2nd time I've been with BMC and I have to say this was one of the best trekking experiences I've had. The people I met on the trip clicked very well and we got along. The guide, Bharadwaj, was really good and kept the vibe good. Food provided was good. Timing was kept well. Definitely will go again with BMC.

Also short coffee break on the way back would have been better and refreshing instead of non stop 3 hrs journey since it was a long journey and who doesn't want to have a coffee break in the rainy weather:)

We went to Kodachadri trek with BMC on 4th/5th September 2021. BMC is very professional. BMC has very helpful/supportive trek guides. Also Home stay accomodation at kodachadri is very neat and clean. Homestay owner - Jayalakshmi (who is previous Kannada TV actress) and her staff member are very helpful and accomodative to individual requests

The trekking experience was wonderful. Both the guides Prajwal and Navya was there to help out then and there and extremely kind too:) Must try!

One of the best trekking experiences! I booked the Kodachadri trek with BMC and everything was really well organised. The bus was clean and the homestay was amazing! The trek experience was unbelievable, we saw some beautiful waterfalls on the trail. Nikhil, our trek leader made sure everyone were safe and enjoyed the views at their own pace. His patience and coordination with the team was really good!

I’d highly recommend everyone to do the Kodachdri trek and look no further than BMC when you’re doing it.

Having done the Kodachadari trek, I went on the Bandaje Trek the very next week and the experience there was equally good!
