Mutton biriyani was good. Less masala in rice. It was not crowded at 9: 30am. But only limited items were available at 9: 30.

Feels like home made. Atmosphere is not that good with women’s and kids. But taste is super

Today I went second time this hotel, Compare to first time mutton biryani taste not same, keema must try dish, other dishes like boti and all everyone won't like, because they no too much spices added.

One more thing here we won't get Bandoor/Bannur ship mutton, supplier he only told us it's a normal desi/Nati type mutton, not pure Bandoor/Bannur ship mutton. Hotel name is included bannur

If your near to Bannur, you what try nati style food, this hotel could be considered.

Cheerful staff, children friendly spices, highly recommended for family dine in, mutton briyani highly recommended.

Went out to eat in this hotel. Had non vegetarian dishes. Good service. Taste is really good. Worth the price.

Inspired by the vlog by Kripal Amanna, did a 120 Kms (one side) trip to taste the famed Bannur Mutton @Bannur Military Hotel on a Sunday.

Bannur Military hotel (Ramaswamy hotel) located on the Bannur main road. Good variety of mutton and chicken dishes, all cooked in home made masalas. No over use of masalas and other spices, taste of the famed Bannur mutton is excellent. Place is not luxurious, but clean and family friendly, staff is very friendly and efficient, prices are cheap compared to Bangalore.

One of the best spots to enjoy a non-vegetarian meal while on the way to Mysore or back.
The mutton pulao is fragrant and mildly spiced and extremely flavourful!
We also enjoyed the ragu mudde with some yummy mutton fry. Definitely worth the visit as we got some home to have for the next meal too

Food taste is below average and road side Biriyani is far better, we tried mutton biriyani, mutton fry, brain fry all was average. We planned to visit on the hype we saw on social media but not a worth the visit, place is also not hygienic. There are pretty good military hotels in Mysore like Thegu mess, Laxman mess etc. Who still taking the legacy. My personal suggestion the Bannur Military hotel is not as we see hype on social media.

Rode here all the way from Bangalore after watching Raving YouTube reviews of this joint.

But must say we were disappointed with the Biryani.the meat was hard and chewy and rice wasn't flavorful. Safe to say the soft n juicy Bannur Mutton eluded us.

However the chilly chicken was delicious. It had a slight Chinese twist mixed with Naati style flavours.it was the saving grace for the day.

All in all.it's not worth the ride / drive from Bangalore

Mutton biryani is delicious but more low on spice. Must visit while travelling this side of the country.

The day we visited place was relatively crowded with just couple of tables empty.

First an foremost the show stopper was kaima balls and the next best thing was mutton chops. Nati chicken fry was cooked to perfection and was spicy.

Quantity and quality is good for the price and must say pricing is perfect.

One great thing that I liked is the owner's were running the show, talking to customers and greeting them.

Mutton pulav is mildly flavoured, so it justifies the name.

So don't keep high expectations when you walk in. Its not an out and out pakka nati style as it quiet mild in flavour.

Its a below average place, not clean and maintained, and also no food isn't that great to go and have repeatedly OR to go specifically to eat biryani, youtuber has simply praised the taste, if you are travelling on this specific route then a choice thats it, biryani lovers of bangaluru might get disappointed as they know better explored biryani places.

While coming back from shivanasamudra falls I searched a local food hotel, after saw a reviews I visited this hotel on 24/06/2018 for lunch, food is tasty. Needs some attention about cleanliness and chairs and table in family room.staff behaviour also nice, service excellent.worth for money.keep it up

Great place for country dishes. Bannur is as such famous for Mutton. This place has great Mutton Biryani, ragi mudde mutton curry, natti koli fry, chicken biryani, keema fry etc. Pretty hot food served fresh at moderate cost. Easily noticeable at highway with parking at road side.

The food is damn delicious and one of the best briyani I have ever had. It is cheap and really tasty and healthy. Everyone should try this place to have a taste of good briyani ie both chicken and mutton

Plain Biriyani n pepper chicken are my preferred items in this hotel.hotel does not have conducive ambience.

Awesome food for people looking for a real treat! Do not expect a 3 or 4 star environment. But the people and hotel both are decent enough.

Never a mutton fan but ya when it comes to mudde and mutton curry, I would go crazy over it, particularly in the military hotels. I've always heard bannur kuri tastes the best, so we definitely had the expectations too high. But this place turned out to be below average one. Mudde was ok but the mutton curry had a very watery consistency which didn't add up much flavour. It definitely was not the taste we looked up to
