Quality of food and service has degraded over time, which is disappointing since this was a really good place. You still get the barbecue experience for the most part, but it certainly isn’t the best anymore.

Service was outstanding. Special mention to Ali and team.

I wish there was -1 rating as well.
Please don't visit this place unless you have sufficient time to waste.
I visited Barbeque Nation J. P Nagar today.
Time: 2.30 pm slot got booked via call.
But I got my seat only at 3: 30 pm, since there were no empty places.
Reason: The reception manager and the manager inside do not work in sync and they blame each other.
Finally, I got my place and then after some arguments done with the service people and manager himself, I could finally get my place cleaned (which I had to find on my own).
Food Quality: Starters are provided in small quantities, as they don't have ample time to deal with customers. When we go for main course, one could see only gravy and not chicken or mutton pieces. There are options to order naan or kulcha, but nobody is interested to inform this to their customers as they see only profit in their business.
Desserts: I liked gulab jamun, others not that good as per me.
Service: As I said there is no respect given to customers instead they ignore and don't value our precious time.
At last but not the least, I used to love this place since I am a big foodie but what I have experienced this time, I hope nobody else should.

No, don't try this place. Only lip service until you sir down. Had been here today. You might find hair inside vegetables and the customer care team won't bother. Rude staff and ordinary food atleast in this branch. Inevitably they don't know hospitality and will make you run around contacting juniors before you can get a resolution. In our case, even that was missing. Had to come home hungry inspite of paying the full bill.

I have booked at 9 pm. The receptionist made us to wait till 9: 45 stating that there is no seat. When we went inside I can see many seats were available but staffs were less. Please do not make customers fool by saying that the closing time is 11: 30PM. They won't even take care after 9PM. When we wanted to repeat few things they said they will get it but they have given us after making us wait for almost 20 min some say gas stove issue and some say we are still preparing. There was no bowl for desert when asked he has given after 15 min. I would really rate 0 and suggest everyone not to visit and make your money wasted. Finally, they didn't even see whether I made payment or not. They don't have manners to treat customers. From receptionist to staffs very disguisting. Even the taste was unbelievable. I have visited many branches of bbq at Bangalore and Hyderabad but first time experienced the worst. We really got frustrated and would never visit again.

Best place to visit.

Had been here for 2nd time. There was a roof top earlier, it is no more.

The food is great. Lot of varieties for every food lover. The options for kids are great. Specially desserts.

Loved the chicken, mutton and fish.too yumm

Most of the reviews with 5 * maybe paid reviews. This place has lost its charm, though we had booked the seat and went early and almost the whole restaurant was empty, they gav congested seating arrangements. There were 3 kids and seats gvn was considering only the adults. We literally had no place for kids to sit, we wanted to just leave the place. Though we requested to change place they were reluctant and said other seats are reserved. Since we din want to waste time going band searching for another restaurant we sat back.
Food was nothing great, in fact few barbecue was not tasty, many times we asked for the water melon n pineapple but they said ya coming n it never came!

The restaurant was unprepared to honor the booking and it does not have lobby space to accommodate people waiting for the table. Please be mindful while booking for elderly or kids.

Was a good experience for starters. Never expected much from the main course but desert quality has degraded as well. Suggestion would be to reduce number of desserts and increase the quality.

Very good ambiance. Food is excellent. Service is also very good. Special note to the guy suman for making us more comfortable.

The Barbeque Nation in indiranagar is good, but this is nowhere close.

This branch in jp Nagar is quite unsatisfying.u need to call for every item u want and that it will come after 20 minutes. The waiter himself told their staff to customer ratio is quite low so they have very poor service. Opt for other branches over this.

Good food, good hospitality, good environment, helpfull staffs. Mr. Sujan and Mr. Tej served very good. Loved everything about it.

The intention to serve cant be faulted. To be going around tables singing happy birthdays (using Puneeth Rajkumar's song as a dedication for the star) is no mean feat. They do it with all the gusto one cam muster. Service is in one word, great.
Food cannot be faulted either. The heat on the coal grills were a bit on the smaller side, which waa rectified as soon as it was informed. They have introduced new vegetarian flavours like broccoli and dessert grills like jamun. New atleast to me. The starters usually end the bbq nation meal. The buffet is usually just a side show. The dessert bar, the live counters were all good. Had a fun lunch with family.

Barbeque Nation is pioneer in the concept and is the best. Many tried to copy them but couldn't come close. Their service and taste is unmatchable. All their outlets are almost always full. They even customise the food based on your taste. This branch doesn't have ample parking space.

We have booked for 9pm but waited till 10pm. There is no use of booking or reservation. Staff couldn't handle the crowd and latargic attitude.

Worst faculty (JP Nagar) and don't know how to speak to customers. It's waste of having customer care support and taking booking through call and not giving confirmation properly and making people wait for longer time, rash answers. I have visited many places but till now have not experienced this badly. Waited for more than 1hr and later had go to other restaurant and have my dinner. If u cannot accommodate people don't take excess table bookings.
Tell your person who stands in the reception to speak to customers in proper way and moreover you are in service industry.

Nagar BBQ is one of the worst, unhygienic. The starters, main course even deserts tasted pathetic. Their roof top dining looks like some mediocre dhaba. Live counter just had pani puri's. We could find tooth picks instead of sticks in kulfi! Service is very slow, it takes lot of time for them to serve something on table!

Great place to please your appetite.it was my pre wedding party.really friendly and cooperative staff. Even though we were so late beyond our booked time they patiently served us without hurrying.and most importantly food was awesome.

It takes alot time to get an order get delivered from this restaurant. Once I ordered a BBQ from this restaurant via Zomato. The order did not get delivery even after 1 hour. I called the delivery boy and he told me that the restaurant is not giving food. It took more than 2 hours to get the item. Very rubbish experience.

Firstly my reservation was literally at the last minute and still got accommodated. Secondly I’d booked for 11 pax however 15 of us turned up. And they were great to accommodate all of us without any fuss. Then the service, with each of us having different requests, all was taken care with respect and smile on face. Hats off to the persons who attended to us. Thank you. Will come back for sure and recommend

The worst experience I ever had! We went on weekdays and that was Monday. Oly kulfi and salads, fruits were good. Deserts, main course we're not at all good. Borbeques were worst oly panner was little edible. Veg Biryani was so dry and no taste and spices in it.

It is worth money, with tasty food. I would say it’s worth for those who’s non-vegetarian.

Starters are the best, they serve paneer, mushroom, chicken, fish, prawns and corns. These are the tasty barbecued starters ever!
You will be filled with too much with quantity.

However, main course are served both veg and no -veg.
Deserts are too cute to look at and it’s not that great though.
I love kulfi from BBQ nation!

They are renovating orginal place at 3rd floor and moved to 4th floor temporarily.

Taste:
I would give 3/5 for food.
Vegetarian buffet on a weekday was good. However live chat counter was not great. They have made a joke of papdi chat and dahi puri. They were not up to the mark. There were no ingredients that one would find in those chats. For just namesake the guy was stuffing few ingredients. It was not at all good. There were 4-5 varities of curries in veg section.

Cleanliness: I would give 2/5 for cleanliness. Right from entering into the building and via lift area all are filthy and not neatly maintained. You will be welcomed to stinking smell of toilet coming out of lift in 3rd floor.

Ambience: 1 out of 5. I don't see much of props so there has been not much attention given to ambience in rooftop as they are renovating.

Good service (especially by Mr. Gaurav) and ambiance. Items which I liked most, are Cajun potatoes, crispy corn, payasam (saffron phirni), brownie and paan kulfi.:)

Went in for vegetarian buffet. Extremely disappointed with the amount of options and quality of the dishes and the quality of service for the price they charge. The place used to have better options when they used to charge only Rs 500. Now it's only a shell of what it used to be. Would not recommend.

Wow.simple wow experience. After going to reviews, I was pessimistic and not wanted to come, but Sumanth gave wonderful service and also the food was delicious and yummy. Overall we had a awesome experience as usual at BN. You see the picture, we swiped all the grubs.

I have been going to this place from past 5 years and I have seen all other barbeque.but here service is fast and they take your request faster and change accordingly.only thing it misses is live counters, other that everything is perfect

We ordered Veg Barbeque in the box Last Sunday. After starter eating we see Biriyani is non-veg. We are pure vegiterians. Our rest lunch ruined. It could be a mistake in packing, however whole experience is terrible. We got money refunded, but that's not point. If you are particular with food, inspect all items before you start.

I'm visiting regularly to Barbeque nation at different locations in Bengaluru taste was good but in JP Nagar I feel live counter options is very less only pani puri that's it and menu is kind of fixed no new addition and new existing dishes to try out.

Suggestions don't go with excitement casual dining experience and corona made vibe bit sober inside Barbeque nation.

Enjoyed the food especially the starters and the desserts. I've tasted the vegetarian dishes and they were all good especially the Cajun spiced potato.
Service was excellent and really hats off to the people who served us food. They were really great and took extra attention to our group which was a mix of children and adults in both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes.

Barbeque in a Box is some epic food delivered to home don't think twice before you order in! Just go for it!
Also, 2-3 people can fill their stomach with one box for which you have to pay almost double if you visit the outlet!

Pathetic food

I seriously don't know what has happened to Barbeque Nation the quality has seriously taken a hit.
The food is a hit or miss, ambience is bad, seating too uncomfortable.
The only thing good Is the service, the staff work tirelessly.
The buffet spread is limited, the sweets and desserts had flies on them.
I would never go back here ever again.
The competitors for this restaurant are way better in this category.
Damn heard this company is going for an IPO.
Do yourself a favour and not come here, go elsewhere.

Some of the veg starters were awesome and the service was very good. They even got us chefs special starters which was very good. The biryani was good. I liked the moong dhal halwa very much. Wanted to eat more but couldn't as I was too stuffed.

Always a favourite food stop. Was more than satisfied with their service and food. The staff was well trained and very friendly and delivered all our requests to the chef. The staff took into considerations whether we had any allergies or food related problems and saw to it that we didn't face any compilations. Their service could have been a little faster, or else overall it's a wonderful place to visit

In short junk food with bad service.

Absolute delight to be here each time. Though I feel it's slowly becoming a family affair than what BBQ Nation started out to be. The performers have vanished (bands, individual singers) and I believe that's a huge change because, BBQN could have developed to be that wonderful platform for budding singers, stand up comedians and visual arts. While food, the ambience are all great, I wish the owners look at building BBQN laterally as a societal hub for folks of all generations to come together.

Loved the concept of live grill. Veg starter options are a plenty. Thai veg grill and Potato grill is too tasty. Crispy corn had the right amount of salt and tanginess. Starters filled my stomach and we couldn't explore main course.

Not at all recommend. Previously it was good. But now a days service is so poor and pathetic.starter is good.buffet is even better in any normal restaurant.

The place endures the top rated restaurant tag very well. The food is served is wonderful. The ambience would make you stay there and hangout with loved ones. It's a bit overpriced I feel but it doesn't matter in the end after a luxurious meal. Make sure you book the table beforehand or else you might end up waiting for a long time or forced to look for another place for a meal.

Food are average, need a better cook many small restaurant serves better than bbq nation and even other branches are better. Service is good but seen a dropping sealing, dirty washroom and empty buffet items. Will think for second visit at same location

Nice place to visit with bunch of friends and family. Bit costly during weekend and will also be crowdy. It offers all you can eat meals with delicious grill of fish, chicken and prawns.must try for fish and prawn on starters all you can eat.vegis you have corn and pineapple will be good non veg guys too can have it. Then normal soup biryanis, roti, south indian meals, curd rice pickel all will be there but not served it is a buffet for these you can surely skip it after having starters a full go for sweet desserts jamoon and smoothies some 4 varieties next kulfis will be great and delicious but only one counter crowdy so be patient pankulfi is worth it, bcoz it is delicious with add ons to it.they should add one person here.next you can have a pan and close off with full stomach.cocktail will be served as a complimentary only one some times no.so think it is not that muvh worth but ok.alcohol is additional. Enjoy the time, weekday price is worth it for the meals served.

My father had ordered for plain lime soda without sugar or salt. But the lime juice dint have the taste of lemon juice too. We requested for one more glass of lime soda. They asked for the exact instructions and they prepared a new glass.
They dint even charge for the lime soda.

Finest restaurants for unlimited non veg, most famous type is tandoor style, here the service is 5 starservice, the way attending the customer is awesome, dey explain every dish name we eat. Place is clean and neat.cost for unlimited nonveg meals about rs 800+. Vallet parking available. Visit this place for fully loaded food.
