A closer home Bengali association which lifts up the mood every time I visit. Pujas here are held with religious fever and great enthusiasm. The puja rituals are conducted in methodological manner. The bhog (lungar) is also organized keeping people and elders convenience in mind. The atmosphere is friendly and uplifting. A must visit for all.
One of the oldest surviving Durga Pujas in Bangalore. This year's decoration is bengali Arti and the ambience of the hall is fav. Space is a bit crammed but alright. Car parking on the busy Ulsoor roads is a bit of a pain but doable. The few snacks stalls set up within the premises are charging dearly but within reason.
First time visit in this Durga Puja 2022, The ambience of this palce was very good and the decorations are also awesome। One of the best Durga Puja in Bangalore।।
A beautiful place to be if you want to enjoy Durga Puja in Bangalore. All bengalis can be seen here and it is a beautiful experience see Goddess Durga in all her glory here. I liked going here for Durga Puja and will be going here again next year for Durga Puja. I like this place. It's awesome.
This year it was very poorly managed. Smelling of drainage duty water.vary small places and the belt less stall.there was no good options to have food in Durga puja.
It was very well organized with volunteers standing at every nook and corner for assistance required. We had the super delicious Ashtami Bhog. The distribution vof the Bhog was also very well managed to avoid any chaos. A separate seated place was arranged for senior citizens to have Bhog. We also thoroughly enjoyed the cultural program that was put together. Its a home away from home feeling at this Durga Pujo. Looking forward to attending it again next year.
Flag bearer of Bengali community in Bangalore for years, it is known for hosting Bengalee culinary and cultural fest apart from the festivals. I have been here twice to get the taste of Kolkata, my Bengali connection
Protima was really small, for such a big Puja. Protima did not look so great. The Programs were performed really very well. The stalls had awesome food, and a huge variety of delicious foods.mutton kosha, macher khol, various parathas, variety of sweets.yyuuummm. The area was very spacious. Just that the Protima broke my heart, totally.
Biggest Durga Puja in Bangalore. Large no. Of food stalls are available. Large hall and nice cultural programme. Only the Durga pratima is not so big as compared to the arrangments. Parking is available. Overall nice experience.
Very bad behaviour of lady volunteer. Today I went to Manpho for Durgastomi Anjali. That event was going on. Volunteers were serving flowers to the devotees so that devotees can serve Anjali. I was standing in front of the row. In the mean tym they announced if there any one interested in fruits cutting or not. So I was thinking whether I should go for that or not, and took the flowers from the basket by mistake. As I told that I was thinking whether Ishould help them or not. Suddenly that old age lady volunteer who was serving the flowers, just shake my finger very badly so that i could leave the flowers and she told me, 'We are here'. I was so shoked for that sudden incident that I couldn't able to speak a single word. What typ of behaviour was that! We all are aducated people and came only to serve our devotion. Was that the right way of behaving with a devotee?
Less pious and more pompous Durga puja. By all means avoid this place. 100 RUPEES PARKING FOR 4 WHEELER AND 50 RUPEES FOR 2 WHEELER, NO FREE PARKING AVAILABLE NEAR BY
Absolutely pathetic arrangement. No parking available. All idiots have parked vehicles on the service road.which has chocked the entire stretch.just to cross this place took us more than 1 and half hour that too late hours of the day.this was a horrifying experience. I would never like to come here ever again.not even in my dreams. I would have definitely given a 5 rating but in minus.wish negative rating was available.burn in hell all of you for such bad management
Protima looked good, though bit small in size. Lot of food stalls serving similar kind of food. I did not like the parking charge though.it was Rs. 100, which was very high.
