A good auditorium for music concerts. Good quality sound systems and comfortable seats. Excellent proximity to the National College metro station. The only downside to this place is the lack of parking space.

An ideal auditorium for not only dramas and plays but also for school functions with a decent seating capacity.

Medium sized auditorium. This is neatly and hygienically maintained auditorium. This is suitable for arts, meetings. Fans are provided. Parking available, but still wanting. Very good ambience. Very good lighting is provided. This is available with the same name since more than 50 years. Stage is very suitable for dramas, competitions etc, School days are celebrated here. Reasonable rates.

Wonderful place for attending concerts in South Bangalore. The balcony seats are a bit worn out and can do with some upkeep and maintenance

Place is good, not sure whether this place is having AC. Fans were working fine. Small toilets which can accommodate lesser people. No parking facility. You need to park on the road at yr own risk and plenty of no parking boards nearby. Seats are good in the auditorium. Front rows are too crampy.

Very much improved auditorium after the renovation. Attending the Spring music festival. Good seating arrangement where the person in front does not block the view of the rear person, huge fans, parking next door at the kalyana mandapa.
It would be good if they can ensure that the audience does reserve the seats for their friends or relatives and that they prohibit mobile photography or video.

A legacy auditorium for classical music in Bangalore. Worth looking out for quality concerts through the year to attend.

Unlike what some reviews here say, there is a huge parking lot in the building adjacent to the Samaja that was available for free for the concert I attended.

The restrooms are decent and canteen facility with snacks and good quality coffee/tea/Badam-milk available for the concert I attended.

Auditorium is good and well maintained.
Sitting chairs are good. At the entrance we can see the Photos of old music artists.

This is like a boon to the people from Bangalore South in having a facility like this. Pretty much everyone around Basavanagudi and Chamarajapete knows this place from a long time. I myself know this from 40 years and Gaayana Samaaja is even older than this. After renovation the building or the auditorium has been maintained well. The acoustics in this auditorium is extremely good. One can get to know the good sound quality, each of note can be heard properly. Seatings are good and comfortable too. In this age considering most of the elderly people come here, the place is kept very well. There is a limited parking onsite. But it can accommodate parking a bit more outside as well. Their website most of the times shows the itinerary correctly else call can be made to their office to get confirmation.
