Electricity always goes off as soon as it rains slightly here in BTM 2nd stage. When we are paying the bill we expect uninterrupted power supply. 30-45 mins power cut is at least understandable. 3-4 hrs though, is terrible. Their 1912 helpline is also useless as it always says "Unavailable" whenever a power cut occurs.

I wish all the residents here mail or contact the MLA and pressurise him to take some action on BESCOM as this area's power supply is really pathetic. I have mailed Mr. Ramalinga Reddy, the MLA, and hope others reading this also do the same to help atleast bring this to his notice if possible.

Most horrible service.
They don't deserve even 1star.
Every alternate day, electricity goes off for 5-6 hours, either during midnight or during the day.
If we call customer service, they'll either not answer the call or will say that we should wait.
I never experienced such bad experience in any other city, related to electricity.
BTM electricity service is equal to village life, where 5-6 hours on e had to live daily without electricity.
Really pathetic coz Bangalore is suppose to be the IT hub.
How can people live or work in such condition.

The most shameful electricity provider. Electricity has been going out regularly twice, thrice every day since the last 1.5 months and there's no improvements. You'll eventually achieve your goal by making Bangalore a village.

There is powercut issue from last 5 hours and the helpline is also not reachable or either switched off. Everyday there is 3 to 4 times powercut for more than two hours. Worst service. Pathetic situation. What these people are doing? Now Bangalore is not a City it's a village.

Very worst situation happened with bescom people my area is madiwala there some onces heavy vechicle is damaged main current supply pole that to vechicle is municipal vechicle yesterday onwards in my home there is no current requested theam in my home pregent lady is there night time it wull be difficult for me like that but they spok3n with me so roud and after finish work they taken 6 thousand rupees with me to repair main road current pole this is karanataka bescom super government hatts off to theam they only damaged but paying public

Even my comment also waste now one take seriousness beacuse every one take money only super government hatts off bescom

The customer care picks up and genuinely talks to us, but after that there's no follow up of the issue and no one comes to solve it. I've been calling since yesterday to fix my power but no one's been dispatched

Since i moved to BTM phase 2 there is frequent power cut which reminds me leaving in stone-age era.

Sice 3 hours no power in btm layout.
When I am calling to electric people they are not responding the call.
If we don't pay the bill on time they will put the penelty
But the power is shutdown nobody else will responding.
Worst people.
Resign the jobs and sit in the front of temple perfect place to those correcpt people.

I have stayed in many states in India and trust me I haven't seen anything as poor as BESCOM services and power supply in Bangalore. It's just sucks. 3rd class would still be a better term to define BESCOM services.

Worst electricity supply. But wen money is not paid u cut immediately.
6hrs power cut a day. Old people are suffering a lot.

This BESCOM Office having a bill paying machine looks like ATM machine or platform ticket machine. You can enter your electricity account number and pay your bills by depositing cash in the machine. Immediately your account will be cleared and you will get receipt. That's amazing. No need to stand in queues. It's open 24*7. But that machine won't accept coins so you have to pay round value extra if your bill is in chiller rupees. Try once. This office employees service and support is okay ok only.

Power cuts in koramangala.usually in midnights without any reason.
There is no power from past 1 hour.
What is the use of the number provided when you don't receive calls.
There is no point in paying electricity bills on time when we have to experience these unexpected power cuts every other day and mostly in night hours.

They took the wrong reading (₹300 extra) for october month, so i didn't pay the bill for that month (so that i could ask the reading guy when he arrives in dec month). When reading guy came i explained him about the issue. He told me to pay the extra amount promising that he would minus the wrong amount for jan month.
But in January he did not do it. Nobody was there in my home to ask him. I called the customer care regarding this, they were very careless blaming me that "you should have complained in the month of October itself"
Poor service ₹300 govindhaaa

We have lost power due to some problem in the pole and had been complaining from past 12 hour's, called numerous time to so called help line, still help is on the way. JE has assured he will be there in 10 minutes, since then 1 hour has passed. No response. Worst kind of service. Private electricians are not willing to try as the pole comes under BESCOM's preview. God only help us. 12 hours of complete blackout.
