Retired aged persons need to wait in long queues in the hot sun without any shelter even for application submission. No drinking water facility and parking facility. For inquires too the visitors need to Q in the sun after the few seats are filled up.
Typical Government office. You will be clueless of what to do and whom to ask if you are visiting for the first time. All phone numbers mentioned on the website were busy. Place is crowded but the EPFO staff was patiently addressing everyone. The is a queue for enquiry itself where you just need to tell why you have come here. A FAQ section either on website or at the office will be really helpful.
Very poor service. The staff talk very rashly. Yearly once when the aged person's visits to submit life certificate has stand in long queue outside the building 3-4 hours. If it is made as earlier to accept life certificate in bank would be more useful. Or can be given an option to withdraw the amount which would help needy aged person, instead of giving later to his dependents.
