One of the first stores of Mishra Pedha which is always crowded with youths for munching snacks.
Love the vibes here and they are open even on late nights as this is located in the court circle any many private buses stop for pickup.
They have all the snacks, sweets and namkeens you name them. Everything you taste here is so fresh. Avoid visiting the place during evenings.

Good shop, worthwhile if someone visits Dharwad and wants to try the Dgarwad Peda. Reasonable pricing.

Worst bread I ever ate. Breads with expiry date of 23rd august got fungus on 19th august when I opened it. And still no regret by the customer care. I will never eat and recommend this bread again.

Food items here are very very very very delicious, tasty and amazing.

Avadhbhihari Mishra is the founder of Mishra Pedha. When he moved to Dharwad in 1933, he initially produced Pedha in a small scale. His son Ganesh Mishra expanded the business & started producing Pedha in Hubli.

One of the best places to take delicious sweets made with Love. On this visit of mine, I took Ganesh chaturthi special modakas which had lot of varities in them.mango flavoured modakas, kova modakas, doodh peda modakas, pine apple flavoured modakas etc etc.they are just waaaaw.

Good products. But Papdi & CHATNI is Fabulous.i test chatni for other outlet its not good. But in this outlet something Spl.for chatni. For Chatni * * * * *

For foodies.must place to visit. I enjoy paani puri and having it occasionally is my stress buster too.

Just now bought Yellow Rasagulla (i dont know the exact name), and when opened back home to consume found that it was not fresh and was extremely dry inside. It clearly appears that was not fresh, but the seller despite knowing its condition, chose to sell it. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. Not sure if they accept less money if buyer cannot afford but they have the audacity to sell a old stock. VERY POOR FOR THE BRAND.

Big Mishra is not a restaurant but a shop which sells sweetmeats, snacks, dairy products and farsan, produced and marketed by the ‘Big Mishra Pedha Private Ltd’ company in Hubli-Dharwad. The main attraction and most popular sweet is the ‘Dharwad pedha’. Their competitors, Thakur Pedhas, have a separate outlet just next to Big Mishra’s. Big Mishra’s outlet was bigger and more brightly lit, so we were immediately attracted to their store. We tried out the pedhas first and found it to be dense and chewy, with a sweet milky flavour, compared to the normal pedhas we get elsewhere. Besides pedhas, we also bought boxes of savory murukkus, kachoris and chaklis, and had a bowl of sweet rasmalai, standing in the shop while our order was being packed.

I like the quality of fast food here and the fact that they put up a board saying no to plastic bags. I would have given five stars if they had avoided styrofoam cups, plastic spoons and used cardboard cups, wooden spoons

Good shop on Hubli Dharwad road near Jubilee circle which serve icon Dharwad Mishra pedha and Kunda and all types of Sweet's specially kaju sweets and bakery products r very good and very tasty and all types of chips items r very good also chivdas of verious flovour and verious types r very good and some types of chakli types items r very tasty and very special tasty chats which r special and also very clean and very higenic

STAPLE PIN! Yes I had got a staple pin in a pedha. Thank god, I didn't eat it in whole, I broke and ate it, that's when I found a staple pin inside a pedha. Once my friend had purchased a cake and it had started rottenning from inside. Though they exchanged the cake, this shouldn't have happened. Other than these incidents, the taste is good. Hygienic place.

No proper staff, sweets are not tat much fresh and no ATM transactions.guys go for other shops but not this one.
