Worst ever baigan bharta i ever had.it was filled with green peas baigan was not roasted and mashed.masala was just poured on top. It was not baigan bharta by any way god knows what it was. It was pathetic.
This place will never meet customer service expectations for many people and neither will it meet hygiene and sanitation requirements. But (a huge BUT) it does not seek to serve that segment at all. This awesome mess easily attracts all the students and foodies who wish for nothing but a comfort food that has both the adequate taste and the affordable price of close-enough home cooked meals. I am sure this is not the only one in the area, but still happy to note that it is one of the good ones out there.
For those who want an authentic taste of Bihar, including the iconic Litti - Chokha. This place is located in the area behind MS Ramaiah Collage. It is not a very fancy looking or very distinct place. It may also not appeal to the upwardly mobile people who look for fancy sitting and dining. However, this place serves amazing food - both Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian. For those who want really good tasting Litti-Chokha, they can get it here from 5 PM onwards. One can also get regular Rice-Dal-Roti-Sabzi (many varieties of Sabzi, actually) for both lunch and dinner. Prices are very reasonable and service is quick. A plate of 4 small Littis with Chokha and green coriander chutney costs Rs. 50 as of December-2022.
One of the best food places around. Only reason it gets a bit of lower rating is due to its small eating area. If you can eat at a roadside dhaba u can eat here. People who are too anxious about hygiene and being cat about it should stay away. The thali to the Paratha and fan favourite litthi chokha is just amazing.
If you really need a taste upgrade you should visit this place. As of today 10th oct, 2022
Veg thali is ₹60 = 7 rotis, 2 sabzi (choose from 10+ veg items.damn), epic garlic dal.
Egg, fish and chicken thali is 80 and 100 and 100 respectively = veg thali - 1 sabji + choice of non veg item
Paratha (2pc) =₹ 50 damn
Litthi chokha = ₹ 50
If sitting there doesn't suit u.parcel! But the food is really amazing.
Prices are cheap. Don't know about the foods taste as I did not dare to eat. Somehow saw their raw material handling which is not hygienic. Saw them unloading raw ingredients straight into dusty roads.
It's a pocket friendly place with delicious foods, 2 star for ambience, try litti chokha and samosa there. I ordered biryani and kabab it was delicious. Everything is good there, the only thing they need to improve is the Ambience.
Food is great. Litti chokha is awesome, Samosa, Kachori too is ok. Not that bad. However due to COVID-19 outbreak, the Litti Chokha is not the traditional charcoal based chulha, but oily based. Yet it's good. Value for money. For Rs. 40, you get 4 Big sized Litti stuffed with sattu and Roasted brinjal curry. Superb taste.
One of the worst in MSR area. Not a single item is good. I have ordered Chicken Biriyani it was so disgusting in taste that I had to throw it. Before this I have ordered egg meal even that was disgusting too. Items were missing and no taste along with purely unhygienic. Never ever visit or order anything from this restaurant.
For all those in bangalore looking for authentic bihari dishes, like litti chokha etc, this is the place to go. They also serve non veg. It is not very well decorated but thats how all the mess around colleges look like
Very good quality food at a very nominal price. The food does taste like genuine authentic Bihari food. Absolutely love the chicken with rice. All time fav. Infact I had got addicted to it for a while.
