Have tried veg meals at Bihari Mess Self Service section. It's just yum. They serve 2 types of sabjis, one is watery and other one is normaly their sukha alu, dal, curd, rice and pappad. It's perfectly balanced and simply flavourful. Definitely recommend. Their dry fruit kullad lassi is also a must try, this is served at the shop outside the mess.
If you are craving for north Indian food, then i must say you should visit this place. We ordered this Panner Butter Masala and naan. Taste was amazing and the cost is decent. Paid 150 for panner plate. And 35 for butter naan. Also people were eating nonveg. I saw people trying various dishes. Must guess other menu would be good. Would recommend a visit.
It has self service. One request is increase the tables to sit and eat and increase the parking slots for bikes and cars. Other than this everything is good and food is also nice and tasty.
Food is decent for the price, but service is really poor. Restaurants has no basic sense of dining, even for cutlery you have to remind the staff multiple times.
Amazing Food. If you are not from South side or a Bangalore Localite and crave for some north indian food then this is the place for you. They have an awesome menu. The food is great. Specially the Thali. Both Veg and Non veg Thalis are great. The service is good. The place generally remains crowded.
Food is great with cheap rates but the place when I visited before lockdown had unhygienic kitchen.but now it has been newly renovated. Staff is good and polite to the customers Note - dilevery charge is 15 rs if u don't order through Zomato or Swiggy
I had Briyani at mess on Oct 30 dinner, the food was very spicy too much chiili, it was not warm, there was no salt in rayta, the gravy was not spicy enough. All together if u are willing to eat on back gate of GTP, Bihari mess is an average option, better if u want your money worth try other options.
Food is quite good but service is horrible. If you want to order anything then please order at a time or else you have to wait for long to get your order served on the table.
Awesome place if you love North Indian food. You should try their veg/non-veg thali, it's perfect and have variety of items, all comes in very good price. Overall every food items are very delicious. I'll recommend it, you won't regret am sure ;)
Price is the one thing makes us to visit this hotel again and again.
Meals is the best dish to buy here during lunch. Fish fry is also good. For most of the curries they add too much of color ingredient which is harmful for health.
The food is very bad and unhygienic. The Biharis have not done justice to their name. Veg and non veg food are prepared in same utensils, their plate, spoon and bowls are of such bad quality, cleaners itself touch food and bring you rotis in their dirty hands, waiting time is more than average. Overall, please don't visit here. The only ones who visit here are North Indians who are desperate for North Indian food, but expect it for low price.
The main i feel people avoid this place is the heigene thing, the staff is not good, cheap food is fine and taste is also good but place is not that great in terms of cleanliness
Food is good but sometimes gravy smells so bad like it's prepared days before. So make sure if you feel same don't eat that.ask to replace that. They do it without any question asked
Awesome restaurant for North Indian food lovers. Details below:
Taste-wise: Taste is almost as good as you get. It can be slightly on the spicier and oilier side but all that can be kept aside as it is too delectable! Be it Veg or Non-veg, appetizers or main course, whatever you order here, you will be satisfied. Fulki roti is a must have because in the Southern part of India, fulki roti is not eaten as a daily course meal item. Thali system is present too. This means, you will get unlimited Dal, Sabji, Bhujiya, Papad if you need. For extra chapati and Rice you need to pay. Cool. Chicken Butter Masala is world famous here and I've never been disappointed with Panneer items as well. Cooks here are all Biharis and hence, you know where they get this taste from.
Ambiance: Yes, it is not a high-end restaurant. So, it lacks the eye catching ambiance. Sitting space is ample though in the peak hours, you still need to wait.
Price: Reasonable price and hence the popularity! Very many items are available and at moderate price tag. Sometimes I believe they are rather cheap taking into consideration the quantity and quality.
Service: They are very efficient. Swift service, but prone to falter in peak hours. Still they manage it pretty well. Not well groomed staff but you don't expect that in such places as well.
Overall, you can hit the place oftenly. Wouldn't suggest to go here everyday as it is not very healthy. However, it is very tempting I say!
