Great collection of books of all genres. I don’t think they have a digital database of what they have in stock so you have to go through millions of books to find an obscure item. Books aren’t organised well but there’s so much on offer that it’s definitely a reader’s dream to spend time and get lost here.
Very good book stall at church street. They have 3 stores in this street. Huge collection of old, new and reused books at reasonable prices. Always crowded.
The best place in Bengaluru to get books period. If you don't find the one you are looking for on the shelves just go ask at the counter and they are always happy to help, previously when I requested for books that they didn't have in their inventory, they ordered for it and made sure they had stock the next time I visited
It's a amazing age old book shop. It has almost all the books you need. It has huge collection of new and used books. This is one of my best book shop. These are the people helping the world to reduce carbon footprints. Thank you Blossom Book House.
Excellent collection of books and postcards. Huge store with three floors. Employees are very helpful and know the store in and out and will find you the book you are looking for, in minutes. One can spend hours here and lose track of time browsing through their vast collection
Amazing collection but it needs better segregation. Everything is everywhere and gets overwhelming at times. But the books can be sold back to the shop after use. Ie. They buy 2nd hand books. So that's helpful.
A book lover's paradise! There is every possible genre of books, Classics, Old Vinyls, Posters, Manga and much more. The best part about this place is that you can spend hours here and still not cover even 3% of the area. I read a lot so I frequent this store the most, I also love their 2nd hand books that are discounted. I'm sure any bookie would already know about Blossoms. If not it's a must visit on church street.
They have a wide array if books on almost every subject, with books that are new as well. The book house mainly sells second hand books, with all my purchases maintained very well and have reasonable prices. They claimed to purchase our books as well, with a discount if the book was brought for them. There are two branches of this book house, with the other one housing older books. A book heaven for bibliophiles and bookworms. Love the homely vibe here.
You can literally find all types of book here, they have two stores. Prices are quite reasonable and you can return them at half price. Worth visiting!
An excellent bookshop with a huge collection of books. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The books are arranged properly according to their content and you can definitely expect a discount on the book you get.
Heaven on earth, the sentence was made for blossom bookhouse. This place is truly a heaven for all book lovers. By now it is like my second home which I visit every week, irrespective of if I buy a book or not.
A quaint bookshop filled with nostalgia while book lovers silently browse and explore each section from their marvelous selection.
As an outsider to Bangalore 10 years ago, I was homesick and persistent in finding out reasons to hate this city. This bookshop made me slowly realise why Bengaluru (now as I fondly enunciate) will be a disembarking haven in my journey.
I scroll through my phone gallery in search of more photos of this book store to do justice to this review, unfortunately I can only get my hands on recent pictures of books stacked together and the two books I bought for myself as a pre birthday gift.
If you want to fall in love with books and what Bengaluru has to, you must visit blossoms book house. Not once, but every single time you are in Church Street.
Loved it.could spend a full day and and cover only a fraction. In terms of order and organization they could improve. We found some books which they said were not in stock.
Excellent place for English new and old books. They have almost all the genres from kids comics to philosophy to spirituality. If there's a classic, most likely you will get it here. Reasonably priced, helpful staff. Only drawback I found is they have very less literature in Indian languages. If you can't find a book, no need to worry, on the same street there are other good book shops similar to this
Book house is a run down place with seconds books being sold as new. But they do have a very wide variety of books.but again assorted in a random manner making it extremely difficult any single book.
Spending a day in a Bookshop is probably one of the most rejuvenating experiences to have. Blossom ensures that! They have books of all genres, languages and price ranges. Find them on the 3rd floor of this building, above a coffee house. The books are segregated according to genres. If you're looking for a rare book, don't forget to ask at the counter and they'll find it for you. There's not a book that you cannot find here!
It's a great feeling being in a bookstore, it's even better being in a slightly crammed one having shelves filled with new or old and worn books depending on where you look. The experience is subjective obv but imo one not to be missed. Ofc there's the exchanging books system too.
Wide variety of books, lot of books are nearly new. Excellent place for book lovers who can spend hours. They give the books at nearly half the actual price and will take back the books at certain price.
Wonderful collection. This bookstore is an experience. Spend a couple of hours and buy as much as you can! The secondhand books are in great condition and very good price.
Wow, its a paradise for the ultimate book lovers. They have a total three floors and wow their collection is sooo damm huge. The book lover in me was awestruck and they have nice antique books and rare collection at reasonable prices. A book lover must never miss this place. Definitely going back again!
Great experience. So many books and variety of copies for the same piece. The only complaint maybe is that legs start aching because there is so much to explore! Great experience really
Even 2nd hand books were much costlier than I expected. But place has an amazing aura and you will definitely find what you're looking for if you've got the patience.
I visited this place quite a while ago, had an amazing time while I was there. They've got manga too and they had a stationary section too in the store. Loved it.
Its a ocean of book, there we soo many books all around. Wide variety of books, both new and used ones. This is the best place to buy books in Bangalore. The staff are very friendly and guides well.
They have every book you need whether it's second hand or new. I bought a bunch of self help books in exchange with old novels. You can donate them as well and get some credit to buy new books.
Always the OG favorite place to get books, but I believe it's a little expensive to buy books from here. I would recommend Chickpet if you're looking for cheap books.
A book heaven. It has three floors filled with extensive range of books with some rare titles as well. You can find both new as well as old books here. Friendly staffs.
If you are a bookworm.this is your place to go. From latest books, novels, and to rare book collection. This is one place to go. Also you will take hours to choose as they have such huge collection of books. Just fall in love with the place
A must visit when you are passing by church street. You invariably end up buying a book or two. They have an amazing collection and the staff has really good knowledge to recommend as well. As they have mostly second hand books (usually in good condition), the price are very competitive as well.
This place is so huge and full of book stack. Felt overwhelmed with so many books around. I will recommend to give few hours to a specific stack. It has old books too. Waiting for the next visit *_*
3 levels of perhaps the most extensive library of books, with some really rare titles. If you can't find it here, you won't find it anywhere. New and used books and they will buy back at 50% of the books value when you are done reading.
Book store is of 3 floors, you will find almost all books from psychology to spy and many more genres over there. The below images are good books as per me.
Book lovers not having visited this place is just “criminal”! It is one of my top 5 fav places in the cityNo, this is not an eatery or a mall or a pub or a knick-knack store but a BOOKSTORE. It has a huge collection of second-hand books & also new books ranging on wide variety of topics for all ages. Are you looking for any specific book but can’t find it on Amazon or bookshops then am sure Blossom Book House will have that book for you! Bookophilliacs, you can’t miss this one
THEY HAVE MANGAS! As someone who loves anime, it's very difficult to find Mangas, apart from the extremely satisfying aesthetic, blossoms also manages to cater to the tastes of a variety of individuals!
A quaint book store in Church Street, every book lover's dream come true, has a massive collection of books, hundreds of genres, thousands of titles, definitely a must visit when at Church Street.
One of my most favourite places in Bangalore. I used to buy huge bundle of books every time I visited, well mostly seconds It’s my paradise. I just love moving from one section to another hunting books. There are lots of books available here. The smell of books only make me feel Sooo Good? Best choice for bibliophiles of all ages. Can return read books in exchange of vouchers. Their Services are good & Price is reasonable too
Three floors of books what more can a book lover need. This place has got a huge collection of books old, new and second hand. There's a book in every nook and cranny.
Wide variety of book collection. I just entered the place to checkout books but couldn't resist myself from getting one.
My friend mentioned me about Blossoms and that he got a book called 'Masters of The Sea' and just expected them to be another normal book store! But boy, was I wrong. They have a huge collection of books! Old new and whatnot.
5 stars for the collection of books but it was hard to search for specific book even under the exact genre section.
Definitely recommend if you're into book and novels!
My n I almost very reader's fav book store. They have almost all the books from all the genres new and old. It's huge n u can easily spent hours in there without even knowing.
A brilliant place to get books old and new alike. Great collection, helpful staff, reasonable rates. And if you are into it, that scent of old books turning. Do visit if you love books.
My favorite book shop in Bangalore. You can get new books as well as used old books at favorable price. I bet you can never find a book shop with as much as books provided by Blossom. There are 3 floors and all the floors are filled with books. The shop is easily accessible as it situated in MG road. The staff is really friendly and they will assist you to select books according to your choice.
This is definitely the best bookstore in Bangalore. This branch is the new one and is walking distance from the iconic Old blossom building. You can find all sorts of books here, both old and new and it's a paradise for book lovers!
Best place for buying a book in Bangalore. Anything else may go out of style, but going to Blossom still feels the same - like walking out of a bookstore carrying a bunch of books. I love this feeling. Thanks to Blossoms for keeping the dream of physical books alive. You can also exchange your old books for new ones, and you can also check out some really old and antique books.
Overall it's good. Not many international authors we can find. It's all jumbled and not well maintained. Space is small and difficult to find the books that we want as they aren't kept properly.
If you like books, you will feel like a kid in an enormous candy store. A bit difficult to search if you don't know your way around, but the friendly staff sure help ease the pain. A must visit if you like books.
Absolute haven for books. I don't read novels and such much and came here to shop for cheap manga. Let me tell you, I was blown away by the very ambience of the place, even after being such a beginner reader. And I'm sure people who read and appreciate books more, will simply love this place.
This store has all kind of books I have been looking for. And the price is reasonable. The collection is vast.surely recommend this place.book lovers can visit without any doubt.but prepare yourself to spend more time as it is not organized properly.
One of the most popular book stores in the city, mainly due to being situated on Church Street. The place has a good collection of books and has a decent collection of used-books as well.
Now blossom has two stores opened in the church street. One is the old, typical, narrow shop (but plenty of books in which you will be lost) and the other, newly opened one is big and spacious.
Both the stores are walkable from MG Road metro station.
One of the best collections of books I've ever seen. You need to have loads of time in your hands, which I believe most book lovers do, to be about able to take away some books because all are lucrative here. You'll want to take away the entire section once inside.
The range of books available here is just humongous. The biggest book store I have ever come across. From new to very old books, all are available. The travel section is one of the best. A huge collection of comicbooks, from marvel to DC, are available here too.
If you are a book lover than you must already know this is a paradise. If you aren't and want to start reading. Please do visit blossoms it will definitely inspire you.
Variety of books on all subjects. Good, reliable assistance with names of authors and titles; centrally located. Very good place for used books. Not all recent titles may not be available. May be due to online availability. Will recommend a visit.
It's got that awesome smell of old books. So many books in so many genres! A mix of used, shop soiled and new books. Coffee table books are heavily discounted. Their classic Penguin Books (remember the orange cream wrapper?) Are available in plenty. One can spend a whole day there!
