Nitin, shirjan, ashutosh, Harshith and kiran were extremely humble and courteous with their service. Thoiba the chef gave his 100% in presenting the food and providing with the best meals around
Which has become one of my favourites for sure! Amazing ambience near the pool side, yummy food, service and hospitality for sure was really good… This would be a nice place to catch up with friends to have a nice fancy dinner or also go out with your loved ones for a romantic dinner!
A pathetic experience! Ordered Cappuccino it was over hot. (they did not charge on it) shish tawook was not served with dip. It was good The service guy was standing on head to place and order. It's was like we pushed to order.
Had a family dinner to celebrate my wife's 50th. We were looking for a quiet place on the rooftop for alfresco dining in the ORR area. Though the Blue Terrain restaurant is on the 1st or the 2nd floor, it was open air and kind of in between for all of us, so it sort of fit the bill. The restaurant manager, Dhanush, agreed to set aside a table for us by the poolside and that he did.
But little did we know the food and drinks would be so bad. Really bad. Really-really bad.
The drinks are pricey - the cocktails are Rs. 900 each (or more) plus taxes. The same as they are priced at the fancy lounge bar a Shangri-La for instance, just made much-much better and served with so much care in a far better ambience. So, for such lousy cocktails that neither tasted good nor were presented any better (simply poured into a goblet), I fail to understand why they would charge so much.
The food was equally disappointing. We ordered 5 or 6 dishes and there was nothing to write home about. Not one dish. Each dish increasingly firmed up our resolve to never visit Blue Terrain @ Novotel again.
They had a BBQ package going on which I was initially interested in, but thankfully decided not to go for. But since I had inquried about it, Dhanush graciously got us a plate of jerk chicken to try. It was salty and tasteless. If that is how jerk chicken tastes, Jamaica would promptly disassociate itself from this popular dish.
The final nail in the coffin was the dessert. The adults were so disillusioned by then that we all decided to skip the dessert, except for my niece who order a panna cotta. She kept eating and commenting - sour, tangy etc. We were busy chatting and didn't pay much heed to it. But since she didn't stop characterizing the dessert in politely interesting ways, I decided to take a taste. And boy, it had gone off. It was spoilt. Now, the adjectives "sour", "tangy" etc.for a panna cotta made sense! I called the restaurant manager Dhanush and asked him to check. He came back and said it is not tasting alright, but hasn't gone bad since it was made fresh that morning. He said it was perhaps some reaction between the ingredients. They didn't charge us for it (thank God for small mercies!), but the experience left a bitter - our should I say sour - taste in our mouth. And sealed Blue Terrain's fate, as far as we are concerned.
Have learnt to never say never, but it will take strong resolve - and equally strong gut - to visit Blue Terrain again.
I went to the restaurant for my anniversary. The pleasant weather adds to the ambience, as the restaurant is in open space. Service is pathetic. To bring a starter ordered, they took more than 45 mins. Also the food was served cold. The most disgusting part was the fact that they charged a tax of INR 500 on a bill of INR 2.1k. To all thos who are planning to go this place, their tax computation is 18 % GST on food + 5% service charge + 18% tax on GST amount, which makes it 35% of the bill amount was taxes. It has been my worst experience in terms of service and billing
So disappointed with this place due to the following reasons: 1. We ordered spaghetti with chicken but they brought us tomato and basil one. Even when we informed that we didn’t order for it, they were reluctant to change it, rather said that’s what I ordered for which was so not true as I hate tomatoes…
2. The garlic bread was so hard that we were not even able to chew it. When we asked to replace that, chef said that’s how garlic breads are supposed to be but we insisted to have that changed. Sadly, even the later tasted as awful and as hard as the previous one.
3. Not much attention to presentation and the food tasted average. We didn’t feel valued
Food: 5/5 exceptional. Lava grill was the highlight. (Other items were good too) Ambience: 4/5. No dinchak music Service was also great. Kiran and vyshak did a wonderful job. Thanks.
Good ambience, and great service. Quite peaceful, no noisy din to drown out the voice from across your table. I mentioned to the staff (Kiran) during table reservation that it is my partner's birthday and they arranged a small cake impromptu. A gesture not often seen in other establishments.
Atmosphere was great and the food was better! Service was wonderful - compliments to Kiran & Amith for food and drink selections. And huge compliments to the chef Kuldeep, Ram, kali AA. I can’t wait for my next trip here
Service was very poor. There was just 1 person serving all tables. And there is limited dishes of indian food. And quality was also not good. Its very expensive. Not worth at all.
Had a lovely experience on my first anniversary. Amit, dibya and chef kali made it really wonderful for us. They got a heart shaped pizza on our request. Nice hospitality. Go fot it.
Ambience is nice. Peaceful and cosy. Food is very good. The Lava Stone Grill items are lip smacking good. My favorite is the char grilled Salmon. Chef Kalithas' culinary skills were top notch. We enjoyed our food and had a good time
It is my second time in the Blue Terrain. Amit and Dhanush have been extremely gentle and polite and the service is excellent. The food was really nice, from chef Kulldeep. This time I had some prawn kebab and the flavor was really good. I recommend the visit
It was great visiting the place. It was a birthday dinner date from my wifey to me.
Actually we don't like one things - We had reserve the table calling to the reception and it got confirmed as well but when we arrived the venue, we were told that no reservation been taken by our name. We were disappointed there.
The food, drinks and starters were tasty, delicious even though it was quite expensive. The price is not satisfied with the quantity.
Inhouse service was wonderful, timely response, and respectful staff, ambience was soothing and pleasant.
Really good hospitality by Amit, Kiran and Durga… he food was delicious and the ambience was amazing. They also got me extra cushions and pillows so I could be more comfortable. Overall a great experience worth repeating l.
Looking around for restaurants in Bangalore for my 1st anniversary was really imp. I choose Blue terrain which was a perfect choice. They kept their committment. All arrangements were perfect by Pappu. Service done by Nitish was good and Chef Rahul prepared what we requested for to our taste buds. It was a lovely evening spent on our special day. Loved it. Ankan was the person who showed alot of hospitality in the resturent. He was explaining the different dishes there in menu, which was not familiar to us. Without any delay he served all the items we ordered. It was good experience.
Beautiful place a must visit for anyone looking for solitude and romantic dinner. Brilliant hosting and well being taken care by Ankan and his colleagues. Kudos really hearty thanks to them for making such wonderful arrangements and taking care of us.
We did a lot of research before booking a place for my wife's birthday and zeroed in to Blue Terrain on Novotel and man, we were blown out by the ambience and service. On 1st look at the menu, we were disappointed with the choice and price but the Host Ankan was amazing. He gave a special offer were we were offered variety of choices as per our wish and he even explained all the menus and how they are cooked. The Chefs Balli, Vikrant and Sunil cooked just like we ordered, completely customized and the desserts were amazing too. Highly recommended if you want an amazing, posh and sophisticated evening with your dear ones without thinking what to order. Service - 5*

The amibience is really nice even during day time. The staff Nitish is very humple and made sure we had our best lunch with family. The taste of the food was amazing. The pizzas are mouth watering.

One of the most warm, relaxing ambience of what I have seen of BLR. The soothing yet energizing sounds of the water flowing all around you, added to the delectable dishes made with ingredients of uncompromising quality, and served by energetic people who seem to have genuine smiles on their faces. A definite must-visit for a well-deserved splurge on oneself! And, yes, it’s a splurge. Special thanks to Vasu, Nitish, and Daya for making our experience very memorable.
It was a great experience to visit in Blue Terrain poolside BBQ in Novotel Banglore. The services i got from Nitish who is working in Blue Terrain is very nice. He is very polite and quick.

There are very few places/restaurants which marks an impression on you to that level where you are forced to write a review. I attended New Year’s Party at Blue Terrain with a friend and they were absolutely on point. Extremely courteous staffs, amazing hospitality, extremely good crowd, delicious food, on point ambience and what not. Ankan & Rahil were too good in taking care of us. They made sure that we are looked upon properly in very polite and dedicated manner. Thanks for making our night a special one, Cheers!
