Blue Tokai Coffee Indiranagar

Ordered latte and waffles. Latte was okay. Waffles were undercooked. Asked for a replacement and they served undercooked waffles again.

I came to this cafe to work, since it was not too busy. It had a lot of space and natural light, but the seats could have been more comfortable for the price. It was a fairly good experience.

Had just a cappuccino for myself. It was very basic, nothing really special for the price.
Wasn’t happy with the staff. They weren’t pleasant or welcoming. I haven’t see smile on who was helping me.
For a morning, I say no to this place.

However, the ambience is good, we’ll maintained.

Blue Tokai, for me, has one of the best coffees you can get in Bangalore. And the Indiranagar branch is no different. The food though has been mediocre most of the times I've had it - not sure if it's bcos of the person taking the order, or because of how any instructions are translated to the chef, or bcos of the chefs themselves. I've ordered pancakes and pastas with minor alterations - but most of the time those alterations are not respected. And if I tell them it's not how I expected it to be, they just show a sorry face and do nothing about it, and I end up having to just return the whole meal.

If you're ordering a coffee, or just some prepared food, chances of anything going wrong are less. I haven't had the aforementioned issues in their Koramangala branch, but I'm not a big fan of this branch.

There are so many different kind of coffee and other drinks options, its just not much seating area is there. Over all is a nice place.

We tried their Vietnamese iced coffee and their iced latte.
The Vietnamese iced coffee is a must try, super yummy and one of the best they have.
This branch is located on the 2nd floor, and they have a small seating space.
The ambience, service and overall experience was amazing!
We went on a weekend in the evening, and it wasn't crowded.

I love the food here. You must try coffee pancakes, avocado toast.

I have been a regular visitor here, the Coffee is insane.good food and Awesome Wifi what else can i ask for. A must visit place if you are new to Bangalore and need a Coffee shop. Also ask for you Sriti she will entertain you: P

Wonderful place to hangout for coffee, kombuchas and decent food. Usually its hard to find a calm place around here in 12th main, but this is a surprisingly sufficient.

Good coffee. It's a small outlet, but very quiet, unlike most of the other cafes along the 12th Main stretch. Ideal for working and catching up. Bonus: Given that it's on the first floor, one has a good view of the trees, something that is increasingly becoming a rarity in the area.

The grind size never matches the requested size. To add to the dissatisfaction, the store asks me to get my espresso machine repaired! I hope the store people think twice before jumping to conclusions. Quite a bad experience!

The hot chocolate, coffee and food we ordered was amazing. The sitting chair was a little uncomfortable.

A cafe where you get quite ambience and a apparel shopping space.but the seating space is quite a less.if you are going with huge gang of friends to hangout may be this is not a place.if you are going in a smaller gang for a quite ambience then this is place.

Taste is not that great, I come here because of coffee one of my friend recommend me to try coffee here but my experience is not that great I have ordered cappuccino coffee which was really not worthy according to price

Best coffee I had in Bangalore by a mile. If you're a fan of western coffee; espresso, cappuccino, etc. That is the place to be for sure.

Ambience and food options wise this outlet is far behind Koramangala. The place looks dull and empty and has more than half of the space dedicated to Bhane retail store. You can skip this one and can try out Koramangala one for a wholesome experience.

We Had the Vietnamese Styled Iced Coffee. Blue Tokai may not have the best ambience compared to other coffee places, but they definitely have the best coffee brewing, hands down!

Great food. Perfect place for weekend brunch. Also the bhaane in-store has some really catchy apparel collection.

Blue tokai is a cafe plus lifestyle store right in middle of 80ft road, Indiranagar. Enough options for beverage and breakfast (though tea availablity is low at times).
Serene ambience with limited seating is either a paradise for those who seek silence or a bore for those who thrive around a crowded place.
Must visit for Coffee lovers, food items though good with healthy options needs to be up-ended.
Also the service is also courteous.

The worst coffee I have ever had.
People may argue that I am not aware of taste what is served in cafe like Blue Tokai.
But sincerely speaking. Bhool kar bhi mat jana. Jaana to coffee mat peena.
And it takes a way more effort to ruin a cappuccino

You'll get many variants of coffee, I had a peppermint flat white, which was good. It had fragments of peppermint, very chewable. But not exactly yummy. But due if you prefer dark chocolates and strong coffee you'll like it. Then there's croissant which was not only tasty but very good looking. They also sell raw coffee asking with beans and chocolates. And while you're waiting for your choice you can browse through formal clothing. It is also one of the few places where you can get a window seat which isn't on ground floor.

I enjoyed my coffee and food but the hot chocolate didn't please me definitely recommend the coffees!

Great location, good coffee. Food menu is well curated. Coffee is good, but not that great considering the strong competitors in the same road.

This is one of those coffee places that can best be defined by the word "coffee place"
If you aren't aware with the brand, blue tokai is in a lot of cities, I have been a regular customer for them at Jaipur, Gurgaon and Bangalore. It's a place where you'd find pretentious looking people with their MacBooks eating pretentious looking food with black coffee. I am one of such people.
Everything else apart they have vegan food as well. Waffles are great, food isn't for everybody. But if you have a good appreciation for coffee I feel like you'd like this place.
Also one thing i loved about the place was that it has a very big glass facing the road which brings in a lot of natural light, and because there is a big tree outside, it's in the shade as well.

Going to a coffee shop and liking anything else besides the coffee seems rare, but the Kombucha is really nice! I tried the Lemongrass one - loved it; and the pineapple - wasn't bad.
If you want cold strong coffee, try the Nitro Coffee. The chili spice mocha is also quite tasty.
I'm not sure of this place serves Butter Croissants or if it was out of stock when I went, but if you can get it, try it. The waffles are also nice.
They also sell presses, coffee beans, mugs and other merchandise.
If you go in the evening, it'll be empty so you can have your coffee and read a book in peace.

Looking out for a quite cozy cafe located at the heart of Indira Nagar and not able to find one?
I'll definitely recommend Blue Tokai. The place is quite and clam, centrally located with great assorted coffee options and healthy snacks that the guest can try.
The staff is courteous and respectful of your privacy. The cafe is located on the first floor so while You can sip your coffee, you can enjoy the vibrant scene of 12th main.
And yes the place also provides option to shop some great outfits as well. The outfits are mostly of vibrant or pastel shades that are soothing and fitting is just right.
Highly recommended for professional meetings or for couples who seek some quite time for discussions.:)
Do try.

To begin with, the place welcomed us with a smell of freshly ground coffee. I tried nitro coffee from this place. The first sip was bitter but as you go ahead it gives an amazing taste to your mouth.
Sugar is not added in this coffee as the coldness of the coffee compensates it.
Coffee enthusiasts shoud try this coffee.
The desserts menu was limited and they had a few vegan options too.

Love love love Blue Tokai. If you love a rich, strong coffee, order the Cortada. Their iced cappuccino is excellent as well. Their menu, although limited, is unique, and delivers on taste and size of portion. Their Buddha bowls are extremely generous and filling.

The order took quite a time to deliver and they didn't have all the items listed in the menu. The sitty arrangements are not so good.

Great food and coffee but it's in this weird high end fashion boutique so you feel kind of plastic while you're there. The Delhi locations are more comfortable.

Lovely ambience and good food. Loved the spread. Ideal for a brunch date. Parking can be a challenge as it's situated on 12th Main, Indiranagar, close to 100 ft road.

The place is at the first floor in 12th Main, Indiranagar. It has ~6-7 tables with 3 chairs on each table. It also has clothes for sale. The coffee menu is divided into milk vs non- milk items and option to taste a few coffee flavours before ordering. I am not a regular coffee drinker so can’t comment as an expert on the taste. I tried iced latte and it was good! Also, the shop has its anniversary on 1st Jan when the first coffee you order is on the house!

Great place to buy beans. They've got these bright led lights inside which makes it inappropriate for normal people to socialize there. It's probably better in the daytime

If you have a thing for Arabica coffee, this is the place to go.the ambience is so damn elegant and peaceful.also their open sandwiches must try and it's pretty filling. I would highly recommend this place

Great coffee at this place. This said, of you are looking for recommendations on new breed that you want to try, this might not be their best outlet (at least on the day that I went there). I prefer the setting at their Koramangala outlet which is a lot more cozy and cafe like. This is like a corporate building. Also, the great folks at the Koramangala outlet do know their coffees and brews a whole lot better.
That said, the coffee that is made and served here is brilliant.
