Good environment, but the worst part about this collage was no proper work will be done by any data centre staff, They will make you run around the campus like a street dog if you need to get something important done.

Awsome college for engineering students. Very good cooperative faculties and even the workshops they conduct will be good for learning. Just use alla the opportunities that's it.

Best college for engineering go for branches EC, CS, IS other branches faculty aren't so good placements are best you will definitely be placed if your performance is good you have good exposure and scope is also for extra curricular activities as well

Nice atmosphere. Near by college there is a temple ie. Bull temple and Doddganapati temple. Very conjusted route ie may be old city area. During visit Ground nut festival is going on. It is very alarming sound. It may be difficult for sound. One thing Airtel signal is weak. It may students to concentrate on studies. Good indoor stadium for games like badminton, basket ball, TT etc.
Over all good atmosphere and nice working staff.

Students graduating from this college are good in both education & extra curricular activity & also get the best jobs.

This college is best for getting into the it world wth placement for CSE students, with highest packege, college support students for everything what they need, and freedom for doing anything in this world

One of the best college in Karnataka again, good placement available, very peaceful campus. At it's best. Located in the Heart of City.

The College is collecting maximum fee for BCA course, but the are teaching the old syllabus under Bangalore University. It's better to join government science college

Please read this original review before it is deleted by the college. This is the worst college for engineering. The college is built on false reputation and much older reviews. The orientations were showing placements occuring 20 years ago and they have changed the dates to fool you. Only children who want to ruin there lives choose this college especially for mechanical engineering. I just managed to prevent myself from committing suicide for 4 years. I got no job for 2 years (not because i was incompetent or a bad student and you can read below why) I CAN SUMMARIZE MY EXPERIENCE UNDER THE FOLLOWING HEADS.please read them if you do not want to ruin your life. Me and my friends have honestly suffered a lot of mental trauma and the teachers had a huge role to play.
TEACHING AND CURRICULUM-The teachers don't know how to teach or even speak basic English. Most of them teach in kannada which can't be understood by 90%of the students including NRI's ofcourse. I am a pass out of 2014 batch. But the machines are as old as my grandfather's age and world war 2 i.e. 70 years old. We were never taught any modern techniques or how to work with machines that would actually be useful today. The curriculum was never revised despite the fact that it is the duty of the college itself. This college has forced our batch and many previous batches to become incompetent engineers even though we wanted to learn and do so much.
TEACHERS- The teachers are highly arrogant and a lot of power is given to them so they can fail any child they like, mess with the grades for as long as they want, and destroy the grades in our marksheet for all 4 years. Some of the teachers don't know EVEN 7TH STANDARD PHYSICS. YES THAT'S TRUE. And if you argue they will fail you. If you question they fail you. If you ask doubts they never answer. They only favour girls. (if any by chance in ur class) the ppt was newly made with old syllabus at our time. But now for the 2019 batch its older content and older ppt (75yr old content)
Its compulsory to fill the online feedback form with GOOD reviews or else they'll fail you if you try to complain.
PLACEMENT-
THERE WERE 1 OR 2 PLACEMENT FROM OUR BATCH OF 240 STUDENTS AND THAT IS SUCH A HUGE NO. BECAUSE THE NEXT BATCH HAD 0 PLACEMENTS. AND THE TEACHERS ARE PROUD ABOUT THE FACT THAT NOBODY GETS PLACED BECAUSE THEY DELIBERATELY MADE INCOMPETENCE AND DEAD ENGINEERS! They destroy your learning and skills totally
CAMPUS - walls are not painted, the campus was green at my time but as of this year according to my brother who is still in the college, all the greenery has disappeared and replaced by many buildings for law and architecture. (for which this college might have got sanctioned for)
LAB AND LAB STAFF-the lab assistants dont know anything neither do the lab incharges but their ego is unmatchable. Neither do they speak proper English/hindi. If you try to learn new techniques and methods and try to work on them they wont let you (they never give permission neither do they guide you). You cant use the 1or 2 modern machines or even the old ones for most of your work. No project is even encouraged or funded.
1 or 2 modern machines are only for display when govt officials come for inspections and that day all the children are given a holiday specifically so that we cant speak up.
HOSTELS-
Terrible condition. Disgusting food. Stupid curfew rules. But bearable living condition only in a few hostels. MH4 (dont remember exactly) is non ventilated, prison cell looking room measuring 4×5 m with no cupboards just shelves/ slabs mounted on the wall to keep ur stuff, stinky washroom, no space in the room to keep one extra chair, stinky corridors with barely any space
But the IH hostels are good.
This is just a brief description but the reality ofcourse. If you dont believe ask a student from our college and you will know

Amazing college.particularly the electronics branch where CET rank cut off is just within 400. Placements are good in 6th semester where all most all students get placed out. It's the 2nd top college in Karnataka after RV college of engineering.

As an alumnus of the institution, I have got more form it than I could ever give back. Very friendly faculty, ample support and opportunities to advance technically. The life at bmsce campus is nostalgic, well maintained campus, classes, libraries and labs. VTUs best college for cultural, sports, placements and academic opportunities.

My kids is saying that always female staff will be roaming with prinicipal (Pankaj choudary) outside hotels and pizza corners and even female staff has drunken and was not able to speak with her. We are not able to reach higher staff to inform this. Please help and save kids to good environment. This is for BMS College Of Commerce and Management. Higher official has to review the staff activities to give environment. Even i visit his office always same female will be inside his cabin at anytime. Please visit his office frequently to confirm my words.

An annual Techno Cultural fest called "UTSAV" is usually held in the month of April. This event is organized completely by a nominated student committee with some members of the staff acting as overseers. This fest showcases many events from rock concerts to fashion shows and is attended by a large student population drawn from colleges from all over India.
